"Facilities: Comprehensive
Hygiene: Clean
Environment: Quiet
Service: Attentive
Overall, the stay was good, suitable for business trips. The transportation is convenient. The hotel room is a bit small, but the facilities are very complete and have everything you need..."
"The hotel is located about 10mins walk from the main Sakae tourist area, but there are a lot of bars right next to the hotel so it might not be the best if you're looking for a quiet night stay."
"I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel's location and room layout/amenities. The Rong business district has everything you could possibly need for dining and shopping. I booked a larger room type, which was essentially the price and size of two standard rooms. I saw a family of three next to me convert the sofa bed into a single bed, which seems perfect for them. As mentioned in previous reviews, the hotel staff can be quite aloof; the older local employees don't offer any pleasantries. I appreciate that you need to swipe your card in the elevator to access guest floors, making it feel very secure."
"It’s between Sakae and Sakaemachi station, 10mins by foot. Room is clean and standard japanese size. Only downside is they do not provide drinking water. Overall, good value for money."
"The hotel's location is easy to find and convenient for getting around. The rooms are spotless, odorless, and the beds are soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Toiletries are well-stocked. The front desk staff were quick and polite during check-in, and very responsive. The public areas are clean and quiet. Overall, it offers great value for money and a comfortable stay, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. Highly recommended."
"The hotel is super good and we love it😙😙. We stayed there 3 nights for our grad trip 🧑🎓. The location is excellent, closed to Sakae station, there is a lot of convenience stores around. Staff was nice and service was good, the room is clean and have good sound proof. Bonus points for self laundry facility and the luggage weighing scale. ❤️❤️❤️ Definitely will choose again for sure. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💯"
"The place is one block away from the bus terminal and also near to different train station. You can ride the bus directly to Chubu International airport and Nagashima without hassle. The room is clean and big compared to other hotels. They provided me new sets of towels everyday and they also provide sleepwear which is a plus cause you dont need to do the laundry for your clothes. The only downside that i can say is that the room is not sound proof. I can practically hear the opening and closing of the door of the next room.. but overall this is a very nice place to stay."
"I had to choose this hotel near Nagoya Station during the F1 season because there were no other options, but it turned out to be surprisingly convenient and comfortable: a 1500 yen taxi ride to Nagoya Station; a 7-Eleven right downstairs; Patagonia just across the main road; a 6-minute walk to Nagoya Tower & Hisaya Odori Park; 8 minutes to Kato Coffee; and 15 minutes to Montbell/Mitsukoshi Department Store/LACHIC. The room was tiny with no closet, making it difficult to store luggage, but all other facilities were fine. The public bath on the 14th floor and the breakfast on the 2nd floor were delicious, especially the udon noodles, hitsumabushi (three ways to eat eel), red bean toast, and siumai."
"The hotel is in the center of Nagoya. It is a very prosperous place to go out. There are many restaurants and places to buy things. It is also very lively in the middle of the night. The breakfast at the nearby coffee shop is delicious."
"Facilities: The room isn't small for Japan, and it cleverly utilizes every corner. You can open your suitcase without obstructing the walkway.
Cleanliness: If you want your sheets changed daily, you can place the change card on the bed. However, there's always a lingering smell in the bathroom and toilet.
Environment: Located in the Sakae shopping district, it's super convenient for shopping. You can use the underground mall to reach major department stores when it's raining or hot. The hotel is in the Chunichi Building, and the Montbell store on the 2nd floor offers tax refunds and has a good selection of goods.
Service: The front desk staff always greet you when you pass by. The room view is excellent."

Great
TTuranxiangjiazhuangwenyiqingnianThe hotel rooms in Japan are generally small, but this one was fully equipped and very clean. The soundproofing was also excellent. It was perfect for a couple with a child and offered great value for money. While it's a bit of a walk from the station, once you know the route, it's quite close. The surrounding area is very convenient with plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment.
GGuest UserA very satisfying stay.
1. The front desk staff were excellent, very quick and professional with the check-in process.
2. The breakfast selection was rich, though at certain times it could get a bit crowded and require a short wait, but this was a minor issue.
3. The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of Nagoya city. This definitely deserves a big thumbs up.
4. There's a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, and Don Quijote is only 5 minutes away, which is incredibly convenient.
Every aspect of my stay was great, so of course, I signed up for a membership.
AAnonymous UserMy main goal for this trip was to get some good rest, so I specifically chose a room on the side away from the main road and booked a more expensive top-floor room. Before checking in, I even requested a corner room, hoping to have no neighbors on either side, but the hotel said they couldn't arrange it, which I totally understood.
In terms of soundproofing, if you're on the top floor and not facing the road, it's genuinely very quiet overall. With the windows closed, you basically can't hear any outside traffic or even the normal activities of neighbors. The only exception is if there are kids next door running around loudly in their room, then you'll definitely hear some noticeable noise. I experienced that firsthand this time.
However, for those who prioritize convenient transportation, this hotel might be something to reconsider. It's not particularly close to a subway or train station, requiring about a 15-minute walk. If you're dragging luggage, especially in summer or on a rainy day, it can be quite a struggle. In comparison, many hotels near stations in Nagoya offer excellent value for money.
I chose this place purely for the peace and quiet and the quality of rest. From that perspective, it completely met my expectations. If I visit Nagoya again and my primary goal is still rest, I would likely choose this hotel again.
Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it to travelers like me who value sleep quality and a quiet environment.
KKelvin PhuahExcellent service with luggage storage before check in
Buffet breakfast is free and opened to all guests
Location is quite acceptable as not far from Shinkansen station and slight away from Kintetsu and Meitetsu station
YYi31The location is really convenient. There's a huge supermarket right next door, and if you book through Trip.com, you even get a 5% discount on your groceries. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's easy to get to the shopping malls and airport by subway. Whenever I visit, I always choose to stay at Jinshan.
BBy DebI recently stayed 9h Nine Hours in Nagoya and had a pleasant experience overall.
One of the biggest advantages of this hostel is its excellent location. It is conveniently located near Nagoya Station, making it easy to travel around the city and to other destinations. There are also plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which made my stay even more convenient.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay.
The sleeping pods are located on a different floor from the shower area, changing room, and luggage storage. On the positive side, this setup helps keep the sleeping area quiet and comfortable. I was able to rest well every night without being disturbed by noise.
However, the separation of the facilities can be a little inconvenient. If you forget something in your luggage or need to grab an item, you have to take the elevator and move between floors. In addition, the shower and grooming area can get quite crowded during peak hours, especially in the early morning and late evening. At those times, you may need to wait for a shower, hair dryer, or space to get ready.
Despite these minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, and I would happily stay here again when visiting Nagoya.
AAlanDope94A nice place to stay at Nishiki and it's walkable to Sunshine Mall. Great place to stay and free coffee drinks and soup from 12pm to 9pm guests only. Free breakfast from 6.30am to 9.15am. The breakfast could last me for almost a day. Will consider to stay again when I visit Nagoya next time.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very conveniently located, close to the live house we were visiting that weekend. The facilities were very clean, including the bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. We slept well. The staff was efficient and helpful, and they kindly stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out.
The only downside is that the hotel is located in a very lively area of Nagoya, and it was quite noisy outside until late at night. We personally didn’t have any trouble sleeping, and there was no noise from neighboring rooms, but it’s something worth keeping in mind.
GGuest UserA bit of an older hotel but it was quite charming. My room had lots of sunshine. The floors were quite damaged. The AC worked well. When I arrived, my name was attached to a key with my room number on it, so check it was seamless. They offer free ramen for breakfast and water in the reception area. There is also a place outside where you can sit and eat during your stay. The room was also pretty large for the price. It had a small fridge (though mine wasn’t plugged in) and a table with a chair if you wanted to do some work or eat in your room. The bathroom had toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
GGinny ThamThe room was clean and comfy. Staff were really nice and friendly. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast as well, like homecooked food, very comforting. And I love that they provided a warming eye mask free of charge everyday! It came with the towels. Excellent service!
