Overall, my experience pretty much aligns with what other reviewers have said. The hotel is a bit of a walk from Yokohama Station, but we always took the train from Shin-Takashima Station, which was only a five-minute walk and saved us a lot of unnecessary trudging – very convenient. It definitely offers better value for money compared to hotels in Tokyo. The room was quite spacious by Japanese standards, and the facilities were good. It had the classic Japanese unit bathroom, so we could enjoy a relaxing bath every evening after coming back. Disposable amenities were available for self-service in the 9th-floor lobby. Breakfast was very substantial and varied daily, which was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was indeed pretty bad. I had bought a data-rich SIM card, so after one failed attempt to connect, I just gave up on the hotel Wi-Fi. Getting to Disneyland was easy by bus, about an hour's ride, which was much more convenient than constantly switching subway lines. For a round trip to Kamakura, the subway took about half an hour each way. Yokohama, as a seaside city, is absolutely charming. It's bright, clean, and well-planned. Coming here from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo was a breath of fresh air.

I booked the largest corner room at this hotel, and while it was a bit smaller than I expected, it's still acceptable given that Japanese hotels are generally compact. There was absolutely no problem laying out two large suitcases flat on the floor. The view from the window was lovely, and on a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji. The hotel has a very popular sky pool, which requires reservations to enter, but it's great for photos. Breakfast was decent, pretty standard fare, though you might have to queue if it's crowded. The location is excellent – it's quiet despite being in a bustling area. The subway station is about a five-minute walk away, and there are convenience stores and large shopping malls nearby. I much prefer this area to the vicinity of Yokohama Station; you can even walk to see the Ferris wheel from here. I would definitely consider staying here again on future visits.

The hotel is very close to Sakuragicho Station, Yokohama Air Cabin, and Minato Mirai. The room at the end of the hotel offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. It's also quick to get to other Kanagawa cities like Kamakura and Zushi. The hotel is fairly clean, just a bit small, but you can't expect too much from a standard business hotel. There's a 24-hour 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. If I visit again, I'd probably choose this hotel.

GGuest User 2026.04.12
The room facilities were standard but clean. I'm not sure if it was due to well-behaved guests or something else, but it was completely quiet in the room. For the same price, it's much larger than hotels in Tokyo, with enough space to open a 26-inch suitcase without blocking the aisle. The location is a quiet oasis in a bustling area, situated at the end of Yokohama Station's pedestrian street, which is lined with numerous restaurants, claw machine arcades, and shops, yet the hotel itself was surprisingly peaceful. Breakfast is a collaboration with the Matsuya Tonkatsu specialty restaurant downstairs, but the hotel package didn't include tonkatsu options, and the selection was a bit ordinary, though the tonkatsu rice bowl at that restaurant is quite delicious.

The hotel is located in the curved building to the left of Sakuragicho East Exit. The front desk is on the 3rd floor, and guest rooms occupy floors up to about the 18th floor, making it very convenient. Downstairs, there's a commercial complex with Uniqlo, GU, and Muji. In the evening, the B1 supermarket offers discounts on cooked food, and on the ground floor near the subway exit, there's a century-old French bakery, which I highly recommend. The hotel has several entrances and exits, which can be a bit confusing at first. You need to figure out how to get to the 3rd floor from downstairs before you can access the guest rooms, as it requires transferring elevators. There's also a direct elevator under the pedestrian link downstairs that allows easy access in and out of the hotel, making it barrier-free for large suitcases. The commercial complex also connects to the hotel lobby, but you'll need a good sense of direction to remember the routes. This location is very convenient for visiting Anpanman Children's Museum, the CupNoodles Museum, Minato Mirai, Red Brick Warehouse, and Chinatown. Both subway and bus stations are downstairs, and Yokohama Station is just one stop away. A tip: one side of the guest rooms offers stunning Yokohama sea views at night, while the other side allows you to see Mount Fuji from your bed. If you have a preference for a specific view, be sure to inform the front desk. On the downside, the room facilities are a bit old, and the front desk's approach to service is traditional and somewhat inflexible.

If you’re looking for a hotel near K-Arena, this one is absolutely worth considering. The location is excellent, situated in a business district with plenty of restaurants available during the daytime. There’s a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient, although it closes at 11:00 PM. After around 9:00 PM, it can be a bit difficult to find late-night food nearby. However, the vending machines offer options like takoyaki and pork teriyaki rice, which are helpful for a quick late-night meal. The room is spacious enough for two people and offers a great view. The bathroom is large and separated from the toilet, which makes it more comfortable to use. Amenities are available at the lobby for guests to pick up, and they provide everything you might need—cleansing oil, face wash, cotton buds, conditioner, shaving cream, shaving kits, and more. Pajamas are also provided in the room, and they are very comfortable. One of the highlights is the onsen located on the lobby floor, open until 1:00 AM. It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of meetings or events. There is also a laundry area with washing and drying machines at a very affordable price. However, the dryer may not fully dry clothes even after 90 minutes, so keep that in mind. The lobby area is suitable for working late into the night. Wi-Fi is strong, and complimentary coffee and hot tea are available 24/7. The TV is excellent—Sharp 4K with good sound quality—perfect for watching your own Netflix content. Overall, a great stay, especially for business travelers or anyone attending events at K-Arena.

This hotel, which opened last year, is conveniently located right above Yokohama Station. It's incredibly easy for getting around and shopping. While it's listed as being at the West Exit of Yokohama, the station itself is huge and well-connected, so it took a little exploring at first, but once you get your bearings, it's a breeze. Overall, the hotel is excellent. My only minor gripe was with the residential rooms: there was a cold draft in the kitchen area. After some investigation, I realized it was coming from the range hood's ventilation duct. The room's AC was powerful, but after a shower, I constantly felt a chill, so I had to keep the bedroom door closed at night. The front desk is on the 4th floor. You check in by registering your information, then you're given a QR code to scan at a machine next door to complete the check-in process. The front desk staff also have automatic translators, so communication was no problem. One other thing: the washing machine is very 'Japanese' in that it has to complete its entire cycle before it stops. You can't add clothes midway or cancel the program. Basically, if the cycle isn't finished, the door won't open even if you turn it off. Below the hotel, there are eight shopping malls, which are fantastic for browsing! The basement floor has a dazzling array of fresh food supermarkets. It was great to buy things and have them sent straight up to the hotel. Highly recommend! 👏🏻

Pros: 1. Unbeatable Location (Seriously!): The hotel is right next to Yokohama Station. It might be a little tricky to find the first time, but once you locate the ”East Exit (Exit A),” it's just a 2-minute walk. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, which is super convenient for grabbing anything you need. It's also easy to get to Kamakura, Tokyo, or explore Yokohama's Red Brick Warehouse. 2. New Facilities and Excellent Cleanliness: Having opened in 2020, the hotel's facilities are very new. While the rooms are typically compact for Japan, they are well-designed, and the housekeeping keeps everything spotless. Our room type had enough space to fully open our luggage. 3. Thoughtful Service: There are self-check-in machines in the lobby, making the process quick. On the first floor, you can pick up toiletries, skincare samples (the facial cleanser was great!), and even borrow bath salts and curling irons. This was a fantastic touch, especially for female guests. 4. Breakfast: Served at Beck's Coffee on the first floor. It's simple but tasty; I recommend the hot dog set. Minor Drawbacks: The hotel is right next to the JR railway tracks. If your room faces the tracks, you can hear trains passing during the day and before the last train at night (similar to a subway entering a station). If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest asking the front desk for earplugs (they're free in the lobby) or trying to get an inner-facing room. Personally, I found the noise acceptable, and it even added a bit of a ”train enthusiast” charm. Summary: If convenient transportation and excellent cleanliness are priorities for you, this is definitely one of the top choices for accommodation in Yokohama. I would stay here again on my next visit!

PACIFICO Yokohama and K-Arena Yokohama are only five minutes away, making the hotel an ideal base for conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and live events. Guests can unwind in rooms with ocean or city views and enjoy on-site dining and a convenient self-service market. Designed for comfort and efficiency, the hotel welcomes both domestic and international travelers seeking a seamless, modern stay in Yokohama.

WWulaitingfanzeng 2026.05.07
The hotel is pretty standard, nothing fancy. The room was on the smaller side. Check-in is on the top floor. It's quite affordable, offering good value for money. There's a parking lot next door that costs 3000 JPY per day, just remember to register at the front desk first. Having a 7-Eleven on the first floor was really convenient though.

The hotel is only 500 meters from the Giant Ferris Wheel “Cosmo Clock 21” and Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, a 3-minute walk from Minato Mirai Station, and 2 km from Yokohama Chinatown.

Right in the heart of Yokohama Minato Mirai 21! I booked a room facing the city, and it had a perfect view of the Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel. The night view was absolutely stunning, and I could even see ships coming and going from Yokohama Port from the side. For breakfast, they had Hokkaido's unique Kurosenkoku natto, which had a different texture than the natto you usually find – definitely worth trying! Next time I visit Yokohama, InterContinental Yokohama Grand will still be my top choice!

GGuest UserWonderful hotel with excellent staff. We stayed for 9 days. The room was quite spacious and quiet, and there's a cozy lounge. The hotel is very conveniently located: a direct bus to Haneda Airport stops nearby, the subway entrance is right next door, and looking at the map, the area to the left features Western and Japanese establishments, to the right is Chinatown, and above is the waterfront and port with walking paths. It takes about an hour to reach Tokyo Station by subway. This is probably the best place I've stayed so far in the greater Tokyo area, even though it's technically a suburb.

Best feature: it’s only a 3-minute walk to Shin-Yokohama Station, which made getting around incredibly easy. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so dining options are plentiful. Llxdee_2486Great budget stay for the solo traveler! The place was always thoroughly clean and staff were friendly and helpful. It took some getting used to since it was my first time staying at a capsule hotel. For instance, no outside shoes in the capsule area: disposable slippers are provided once you arrive, so switch to those affter putting down your luggage. If you need an extra pair, you can grab one at the front desk. Also, your locker key has a QR code attached, so that you can scan to enter the capsule, locker, and shower areas. I kept forgetting to walk with it just going to the locker room, which you need the QR code to access! Thankfully, other guests would open the door for me since we shared the same space. One thing to note is the cleaning time between 11 AM and 3 PM: the capsules are unusable since they change the sheets, make the beds, etc., so it's best to be out in the city exploring or down in the lobby. Any bottles you leave in front of your capsule might be considered trash when they clean, so if you want to keep your drinks, keep them in the locker. If you have several personal items on your bed inside the capsule, depending on what it is, they may not enter to change the bedding, etc. so keep that in mind. They also provide sleepwear, disposable toothbrush and mini toothpaste, bath and hand/face towels in a small bag that they replace each day! There are proper places to return used sleepwear and towels (large laundry bags are clearly marked), same with trash disposal. There is a shower area with separate stalls. Many people tend to shower at night, so if you don't want to wait, it's best to shower before the cleaning time in the morning, or before 10 PM. Some girls would shower (and sometimes wash their hair), so it's common for many people to be in the showers late at night, even after midnight! Thankfully, there are small couches in this area, so no need to stand and wait. Also, the lockers are a bit tiny and narrow (see pic with disposable slippers), but I assume they are the standard for capsule hotels. They are the main storage for small items; luggage (like suitcases) is stored in an adjacent room. All in all, I would stay there again! Very close to Yokohama station, there are several restaurants, a few Family Marts and a Lawson's are within walking distance, as well as a mall called VIVRE with about 8 floors to browse.

SsgargiuloThe hotel is short walking distance from shin-yokohama station. Check in was easy and smooth. Out room was a bit small and tired , typical business japanese style but the furniture looked worn. The bathroom was also japanese style : no window + small bathtub with shower and minimal (well equipped) space overall. If you are lucky enough to get an upper floor room , the view from the big window is nice. On the basement there is a 7Eleven and just out of the hotel it is plenty of shops/restaurants

DDavid K T SoHotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.

Also, I have booked breakfast for 5 days, and I thought it would be a buffet breakfast, but in reality they give you a bento box, which is not Vegan or vegetarian-friendly and i am Vegan so i wasted my money in breakfast. I advise not to book breakfast, in same price you can get better option anywhere else.
