Amazing
LLuxiangxiI really liked the minimalist decor; it's better than a hostel since they're individual pods rather than bunk beds. You can only open your luggage on the bed. There's no lock on the door, but there's a locker to secure your belongings. It's quite close to the station, the bed was very comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent—no dust in the corners. You have to change shoes right at the entrance of the building, where there's a shoe cabinet. It felt a bit warm at first, but then it was fine.

GGuest UserThis hotel, being a new build next to the long-established Nakashimaya Grand Hotel, is naturally very new and clean. It's also functional and easy to use, providing a pleasant contrast to the more traditional and understated Nakashimaya. The front desk staff are efficient and professional, yet also warm and welcoming, which is a nice touch. The front desk is on the top floor and the exit is on the ground floor, offering convenient and unrestricted access. For breakfast, guests share the underground restaurant with Nakashimaya, and the menu is extensive, featuring local静岡 specialties like black hanpen and wasabi pickles.

PPangpangjiafeimaoThe room was quite spacious with a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Although the JR station was right outside the window, the double-glazed windows provided excellent soundproofing. There were several pillows, including memory foam neck support pillows, which were super comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, especially with a good variety of leafy greens, which really made up for the typical lack of vegetables in Japanese meals. To get to Miho no Matsubara, you can either take the bus or a water bus from the seafood market. The hotel is very close to the seafood market, and all the shops there offer incredibly fresh and reasonably priced seafood, with typical set meals around 2000 yen. Any place you choose is delicious.

GGuest UserI stayed at the hotel with my wife as a stop between Nagoya and Atami. We chose the hotel due to its very close proximity to the train station. We found the hotel room very clean and recently renovated. The utilities, including lighting and water supply, were good. The breakfast was acceptable though we needed to queue for a while. The services offered were indeed good since we managed to retrieve some left fruits in the refrigerator through the help of hotel staff after we have checked out.

당당근이랑 말이랑Breakfast was very satisfying. The specialty Shizuoka oden was varied, and there was also buta. The konjac and mugo were especially delicious. One thing I was disappointed about was that there was no fruit at all. Also, the hotel's room assignment system doesn't take requests into account at all. I requested a room with a nice view in advance, but they had already assigned me a room with a parking lot view on the second floor. They didn't assign it upon arrival; the room number was already written on the check-in form. I stopped by to store my luggage before check-in time, and it was already there. I went before the 3 o'clock check-in time, but it was useless; it was a pre-arranged plan. The female staff member was sarcastic, and her attitude was evident in her expression and tone.
She's Japanese, but she speaks Korean fluently. She didn't even realize it, and she kept speaking in Japanese. I've stayed at many hotels in Japan, but this is the first time I've experienced such service.
Wow!! Contrary to the hotel photo, there's no sauna in the women's spa! I booked because of the sauna, but I was surprised. It might be helpful to double-check our website.
This was my first time staying at the Kuretake Inn chain, but if you don't care about the staff's friendly service and detailed facility information, it's fine. I'm not sure I'll return to the Kuretake Inn chain.

MMaki DinhI stayed here for two nights, and the hotel has a very convenient location. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to Shizuoka Station, less than 20 minutes to Sunpujo Park, and around 10 minutes to the Shizuoka Prefectural Office. Convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Ministop are also just a 5-minute walk away.
The hotel has useful facilities, including a coin laundry and an ice maker on the second floor. Breakfast is available, although I didn’t choose the breakfast option when booking.
Soundproofing is quite good. I slept well and didn’t hear noise from nearby rooms. Overall, the staff were helpful and professional. Considering the price, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel. Photos from the window of my room.

For any anime/manga fan, this place is a total delight, especially being just a six-minute walk from Surugaya! Absolutely loved it! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shizuoka.

Check-in was done in one part of the coffee shop.
We apologize when it is crowded as the general public also enjoys tea.
The rooms have air conditioning, but the beds do not, so it feels very hot and difficult to stay there.
There are no towels or toothbrushes.
You need to bring your own.
Earplugs were available at the washbasin.
There is only one shower and one toilet, so you have to be patient when others are using them.
I woke up in the middle of the night when someone came home and took a shower because of the noise.
You have to cross a big road from the station, so it is better to go out with plenty of time to spare.
