RRa****An absolutely fantastic stay, everything exceeded my expectations!
1. It's very close to Shizuoka Station, but make sure to exit from the North Exit.
2. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fish and shrimp – something I've never seen at hotels in the same price range.
3. They provided two sets of yukata pajamas and four towels (both large and small) – very thoughtful!
4. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were good too (though the toothbrush was a bit stiff).
5. You can see Mount Fuji from the rooftop onsen, but unfortunately, there was no snow on the peak when I visited.
6. Shopping and dining options nearby are incredibly convenient.
If I ever pass through Shizuoka again, I will definitely stay here! Thank you!

EErshuajiangMy first time in Shizuoka Prefecture, and I spent the first night at the Nihondaira Hotel.
Walking into the lobby, there's a huge glass curtain wall directly ahead. If the weather is clear and visibility is good, you can see Mount Fuji in the distance. Even every room faces Mount Fuji. At the foot of the mountain are Shimizu City, home of Chibi Maruko-chan, and Miho no Matsubara.
When I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, it was overcast, and Shimizu City wasn't visible due to heavy fog and humidity. I was really hoping for clear skies the next morning. And my wish truly came true! At 5 AM, a thought flashed through my mind, I woke up, pulled open the curtains, and although the sun hadn't risen yet, a blush appeared in the southeast. Looking straight ahead, in the distant sky, a massive silhouette appeared – that was Mount Fuji.
Alright, I'm content. Hahahaha~
Staying at this hotel, you can completely, completely relax. You can lie in your room and zone out, or stroll on the huge lawn in front of the hotel, watching the shimmering lights of Shimizu City at night.
The booking price included dinner and breakfast. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Dinner was a French set menu (Menu in pic 7). For an additional 1600 yen, I upgraded to Japanese-produced Wagyu beef, which I highly recommend. It was grilled perfectly, locking in the pinkness, and the texture was tender and fresh both inside and out. For breakfast, I recommend choosing the Japanese set meal, as online reviews say the Western breakfast is terrible.

PPangpangjiafeimaoThe room was quite spacious with a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Although the JR station was right outside the window, the double-glazed windows provided excellent soundproofing. There were several pillows, including memory foam neck support pillows, which were super comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, especially with a good variety of leafy greens, which really made up for the typical lack of vegetables in Japanese meals. To get to Miho no Matsubara, you can either take the bus or a water bus from the seafood market. The hotel is very close to the seafood market, and all the shops there offer incredibly fresh and reasonably priced seafood, with typical set meals around 2000 yen. Any place you choose is delicious.

GGuest UserI stayed at the hotel with my wife as a stop between Nagoya and Atami. We chose the hotel due to its very close proximity to the train station. We found the hotel room very clean and recently renovated. The utilities, including lighting and water supply, were good. The breakfast was acceptable though we needed to queue for a while. The services offered were indeed good since we managed to retrieve some left fruits in the refrigerator through the help of hotel staff after we have checked out.

JJUNHO(I stayed at the Ezaki building) The interior facilities are very good. There are two shower rooms in the duplex-type independent building, so it is spacious and nice. There is a bit of a distance between the check-in counter and the accommodation, but... a red-haired English-speaking staff member at the check-in counter personally guides you. He is very funny. I have been to Japan many times, but this was the first time I had a language barrier like this, but I can't tell you how good it was to communicate with this person in English. The room is clean, and there are two beddings except for the bed, but it is not just a mat, but a topper, so it is comfortable enough, and the bed is also comfortable and nice. The service cookie is just Lotus flavored.
They gave me a drink coupon as a welcome drink, but I couldn't use it, which was a shame. A convenience store is also about 5 minutes away?? Unlike regular hotels, you have to take off your shoes to enter, so it was more convenient, and anyway, the facilities are good and clean, so it was nice. There are department stores, shopping malls, Wasabi House, drugstores, Nanaya, and other shopping streets within 10-15 minutes, so it's good.
The only downside is that security can be a bit weak...? Since it's Japan, there's no such risk burden, but it feels that way.
It's a structure where you enter by holding the door lock key behind the wall, but um... (see photo) Anyway, that's it... So there's a little noise from cars passing by. But it's okay. Everything is great. Oh, and the doorbell sound was also the convenience store bell sound, so it was funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you're thinking about going here, it might be good to go ㅎㅎ
Oh, another interesting thing is that you can send various inquiries or things you need to know before check-in through email chat starting the day before check-in.

GGuest UserThe hotel's floors feel like a museum, taking in the beautiful retro-style interiors. The service is good, and everyone is very polite.
The hotel has only one washer and one dryer, which doesn't dry well. I ran the dryer twice for 30 minutes, and my clothes were still lukewarm, not hot as usual, and they weren't completely dry.
I really didn't like the lack of a duvet cover; I've never seen that in Japan. The shared blanket lies on top of the sheets, which is unhygienic.
The wallpaper in the rooms is torn, and the carpet is dusty. If the windows face the courtyard, the numerous ventilation pipes hum loudly. There's no room for a large suitcase; the bed is on the floor.
Breakfast includes a variety of vegetable appetizers and pickles, miso soups, ramen, and a mix of Sichuan and Japanese cuisine. The chef makes an omelet with sakura shrimp, shirasu fingerlings, or your choice of cheese. There's no fresh fruit. The only fish/meat available was salted, bony fish. Breakfast took up a lot of space, but there wasn't much to eat, and most importantly, it wasn't tasty.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, and the hotel is spotlessly clean. While the room wasn't huge, the bed was very large and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also spacious and pristine. The lobby offers complimentary amenities, including bath salts, which were perfect for a relaxing soak to unwind after a long day. It's also super convenient for exploring the surrounding area.

Option with breakfast was something new for me, you got plate with different variants of food on it + “Swedish buffet” with rice, bread and drinks. Everything was very good and tasty, but some times feel like too small portions (ex. omelette).
Clean room, fresh sheets and Landry option :) standard Chanel’s on tv and really good design for bed shelve (light switch’s and usb charger).
Also lobby with a great manga collection to read (only Japanese language available) was nice alternative.

Check-in was done in one part of the coffee shop.
We apologize when it is crowded as the general public also enjoys tea.
The rooms have air conditioning, but the beds do not, so it feels very hot and difficult to stay there.
There are no towels or toothbrushes.
You need to bring your own.
Earplugs were available at the washbasin.
There is only one shower and one toilet, so you have to be patient when others are using them.
I woke up in the middle of the night when someone came home and took a shower because of the noise.
You have to cross a big road from the station, so it is better to go out with plenty of time to spare.
