Amazing
IIanChGreat hotel to stay in and relax. They have everything we need to rest with comforts, onsen, sauna, massage chair, free ramen every night and free ice cream after onsen, just to name a few. Our room (18sqm) is more spacious than the typical business hotel. Hotel location is good, right at the edge of Kobe Chinatown, 3 min walk to the Kobe Motomachi Shopping Street, 7 min walk to the nearest JR Line of Hanshin Line Motomachi Station and 10-15min to Sannomiya Center Gai Shopping Street.

GGebideruiruiFirst, let's talk about the positives. The environment is excellent with beautiful scenery, and the hotel facilities are comprehensive. Second, the food tastes quite good, and the half-board (dinner and breakfast) service adds a lovely touch to the experience. Third, every staff member has a wonderful service attitude. The driver uncle was especially warm and attentive, and one staff member spoke Chinese, while another provided excellent service as well. Fourth, the music in the hot spring was pleasant, and the lighting was beautiful. Finally, my only personal regret was that the private hot spring slots I booked were not ideal—one was very late, and the other very early, which led to insufficient sleep. This was probably because I didn't arrive as early as other guests, so there weren't many available times left to book.

GGuest UserThe room was tiny; we could only unpack our luggage in the hallway right by the door. The breakfast selection was extremely poor, so I wouldn't recommend booking it separately. They don't provide any toiletries. On the bright side, there's complimentary coffee and hot water available all day on the first floor, and they offer decent ice cream at 8 PM. At nearly 1000 a night, it's definitely not good value for money.

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious and had two chairs, and the bathroom had no steps, which was convenient for the elderly. There's a good rotating sushi restaurant right next to the hotel. The easiest way to get to the hotel from Kansai Airport is by express bus; it's a 70-minute ride, and you can buy tickets at self-service kiosks at gate 6.

GGuest UserOverall, our stay was good, especially the location. The room is a bit old but still well maintained.
However, we were not happy with one aspect of the service. A staff member (possibly a manager or senior from the F&B team) was not very professional and came across as quite rude.
He physically blocked us from entering the breakfast area without listening to our explanation. We clearly mentioned that our friend was already inside and had a table, and we were just trying to confirm the table number. However, he insisted we go to Level 1 for breakfast and did not allow us to explain further.
We had to go back and forth between the lift, trying to contact our friend, which was quite frustrating. Only after we showed him a photo did he finally allow us to enter.
What surprised us most was that the restaurant was actually quite empty, with many available tables. We don’t understand why we were told it was full and asked to go elsewhere.
We hope the hotel can improve staff communication and professionalism to avoid similar situations in the future.

GGuest UserThe hygiene was impeccable, and the front desk staff spoke excellent English. The room size was quite generous for Japan, easily accommodating a 28-inch suitcase fully open. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from JR Sannomiya, a straight shot down one road.
Breakfast was at Matsuya downstairs, with two Japanese and two Western set meal options, which was more than enough.

XXinqingtianThis hotel offers incredible value for money! The environment is lovely, and it's spotlessly clean. The staff are all so welcoming and enthusiastic. You can easily walk to both the beach and the shopping area. Plus, the rooms are really spacious. Definitely a highly recommended place!

WWony1This is a truly excellent hotel. It was exceptionally clean and the room was spacious. As I was traveling solo, I left the second bed completely untouched to make cleaning easier for the staff. The friendliness of the staff was also very impressive, and breakfast was superb. Many thanks to all the ANA staff for such a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is really convenient for exploring Kobe, with lots of small shops nearby and even a large supermarket next door. Even though Sannomiya Station is still under renovation, once you get your bearings, getting around isn't a big issue. It's also easy to get to Osaka, as there's a direct JR line to Umeda. Kobe is truly perfect for a city walk. I'd love to visit again sometime!

FFairyflossPerfect quiet onsen resort to unwind and relax. The kaiseki dinner was a highlight and buffet breakfast offered a great variety. Onsen is not too big, not crowded during our stay but probably will if it gets busy. The room was a decent size with good air conditioning and being away from the busy streets made for a peaceful stay. The only downside was the bathtub leaked whenever we showered. Free parking is available, though it’s located underneath the property so it’s best to drop off your bags first if you have a lot of luggage.
