"It's 2 station far from kyoto station, and quite far from the center. However, it's near Fushimi Inari Shrine and the price is affordable. Buffet is delicious. I love it However, my room has many dust. They should have been more dedicated in cleaning process. Overall, services and facilities are good 🥰 I will stay there again when visiting kyoto."

"This is my second stay at Hachijo Hotel this year, and I've probably stayed here about five times in total. I love it as much as ever. Whenever I go to the Kansai region, Hachijo Miyako Hotel is my first choice; I don't even bother looking at other hotels anymore. The location is superb, and the room size is considered very spacious for Japan. I really like that the toiletries are POLA. The self-check-in process is very smooth. I also booked a day tour, and the meeting point was conveniently nearby."

"A great place to stop at! Kyoto hotels can get pretty heavy on the wallet, but this one was pretty great in terms of price – especially considering the kind of service we got. The room was quite small, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and while the location is pretty far from the center, Fushimi Inari is easily accessible on foot, and there are combinis and cute cafes nearby, as well as a railway station."

"Front desk counter service is quick, smooth, patient for explanation for general service provided and health product to collect at lobby, great and enjoyable for living for one night. Also, hotel is nearby subway station, convenient for visit around famous tourist spots at Kyoto city. Also , subway can interchange with JR and Shinkansen, convenient for visitor travel around whole Japan. Room is clean, quiet for sleep, toilet is clean. But the Netflix cannot work in my room, bit disappointed for that. Anyway, in conclude , this hotel can give me a wonderful night and quiet sleep. Great. Will live for next time."

"This hotel has many advantages. First and foremost, the service attitude is absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly proactive and helpful during check-in and whenever we needed assistance. The cleanliness was excellent. We stayed for three days, and while they didn't do a full clean every day, someone came by daily to empty the trash, replace towels, and do a quick tidy of the bathroom. Our travel schedule was so tight that we didn't have time to enjoy the public areas, but the design looked very impressive. The biggest surprise about the hotel was its surroundings – there were so many beautiful cherry blossoms nearby! There's a small park right next door with a few trees in stunning full bloom. A little further back is the Shimogamo River area, with more beautiful cherry blossoms lining both banks, and very few people. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. If I had to mention a drawback, while Jujo Station offers convenient transportation, there aren't many dining options directly around it. There's a Lawson and two restaurants opposite the hotel, but for more choices, you'll need to walk about 5 minutes or so. However, it's precisely because it's not in the absolute city center that you can enjoy such a comfortable space. Overall, it offers great value for money!"

"Extremely satisfied. I've stayed here multiple times, even making it a point to visit Kyoto just for this hotel. It's conveniently located, making it easy to get anywhere. It's clean and tidy, and the service is attentive and warm. Plus, I simply love hotels with hot springs. The late-night noodles are a fun touch too."

"This is a very new hotel, and the service is excellent, as is the cleanliness. They offer complimentary drinks daily. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but we were able to open two large suitcases by moving the chairs and table around. The only downside is the location. Although it's called the 'Kyoto Station Hotel,' it's not actually that close to Kyoto Station, nor are there any subway stations nearby. Getting to tourist attractions pretty much requires a taxi. It's a bit inconvenient for leisure travel, but I imagine it would be great for business trips. For reference, a taxi from the hotel to Shijo shopping street or Fushimi Inari Taisha costs around 2300 yen."

"The picture on trip.com didn't do the hotel justice. The room is extremely modern clean and nice. They prepared the bed for us by converting the sofa bed in adcance. The public bath was extremely clean and cozy and we had a great time there. Staffs were also very friendly and helpful."

Even though they were not obligated to help with my luggage, the staff went above and beyond to assist me. They retrieved my luggage and placed it directly in my room, which I truly appreciated. "Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto was perfect for me as a female solo traveler. It’s just a three minute walk to Kyoto Station, with 7 Eleven and Aeon Mall right nearby (less than 1km), which made everything feel convenient and safe. I felt comfortable the entire stay and would gladly choose it again."
