Amazing
GGuest UserUpon arrival, the sofa bed was already set up, making the room feel very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, range hood, dishwasher, dish soap, and dishcloths – everything you could need. The toilet was separate from the washroom and shower. The shower had great water pressure. I didn't notice any skincare amenities provided in the room, but pajamas, toothbrushes, and razors were available for guests to pick up in the lobby. The lobby featured a spacious lounge and reading area, along with a drink vending machine. Downstairs and a right turn led directly to a food mall. Across a small street, to the left were a hair salon and an excellent seafood restaurant, while to the right was Hyakubangai shopping street. The front desk staff, who I believe was from Southeast Asia, could communicate well in English and had a pleasant demeanor. On a side note, here are some Kanazawa sightseeing recommendations. My child's top pick was Myoryuji Temple. It was reportedly built by the local lord as a covert defense against the central government, featuring many ingenious (though perhaps not very sturdy) hidden mechanisms. Many temples in that area were supposedly established for similar strategic purposes. My personal favorite was Nagamachi, near the Buke Yashiki (Samurai District). It's an area concentrated with former samurai residences – imagine a beautiful Japanese version of a historic mansion district like the Yuyuan Road or Huashan Hospital area in Shanghai. Scattered nearby are art shops, small museums detailing local history, and craft galleries. It’s quite fascinating to explore and learn about Kanazawa's past. There's also a small alley, possibly only open in the evenings, with yakitori izakayas called 'Hashi-something' (Bridge-something)? Higashi Chaya District, on the other hand, felt a bit like a 'tourist street' – the kind you find in many cities, whether genuinely old or a recreation – with somewhat homogenous merchandise. Still, it's very picturesque for photos. The Asano River itself was just like any small river in a Japanese provincial town, with scenery not quite comparable to the impressive urban riverfronts back home in China.

AAylwin Au⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Stay at Shed Hotel Shed Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. We arrived at Shenzhen Airport around 2:00 pm and were pleased to find that the hotel provides shuttle pickup, which made our arrival very smooth and convenient. We stayed for one night, booking 3 rooms for 6 people. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, very helpful, and proactive in assisting us with our needs. The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The beds were especially good, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. BBell95Hotel is so great I will definitely come back to Kanazawa one day and stay here. The room is spacious enough for 3 of us. They provided every amenities we needed including ironing equipment. We can dry our clothes in the bathroom. Staff are very friendly even though my Japanese skills are so bad. We were a bit unlucky due to the weather, there was hailing when we were there but other that it's all good. Most importantly, the hotel is right next to the Kanazawa station and ease us on our movement around. Thank you for the great service I will definitely come back.

AAnonymous UserStayed here for 4 nights to visit Kanazawa, Fukui and Toyama. Room is small but sufficient for 2 people. The toilet seems newly fabricated/ installed so it feels newer than the room. The room is stuffy in the winter because theres only a slow wind/ hot room option for the AC. There are microwave ovens, drinks vending & ice machines located on various floors. Even though the hotel is located near the JR Kanazawa station, it is very quiet at night. My favourite part about the hotel is the proximity to Kanazawa station, just 7 mins walk! Perfect for those using the Shinkansen. Opposite the hotel (1mins) is Forus & 100bangi mall with many shopping, eating & omiyage choices there. Omicho market is about 20mins walk, perfect for a fresh bowl of kaisendon!

SSpielyHOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My 2026 Japan Trip! I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Kanazawa for three nights, and it ended up being my favourite hotel of my entire trip. The room was extremely clean and very spacious — at 32 sqm, it really was much larger than most hotels in Japan for the price paid and was very comfortable for a longer stay. The pricing was also very affordable for the space, quality, and comfort provided, making it excellent value for money. Service from the staff was also excellent — friendly, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. There is a bathtub provided with bath salts given at the front desk Food: I also tried the Kanazawa Gozen (last pic) recommended by the hotel, and it was fantastic. At 3,500 yen, it was well worth the price and a great way to experience local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Location: 5 mins walk from JR Kanazawa Station exit, pretty straightforward, with an underground walkway, which is noticeable after exiting and turning left. Overall, an outstanding stay and easily my top hotel choice during this trip. I truly hope to return and stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThis place is just a 5-6 minute walk to Kanazawa jr station and the bus terminal. The location is fantastic. There is all the amenities you need like coin laundry, and ice machine. The staff are wonderful and helped me to correctly fill out the forms to mail a package to my teacher staying in japan. This is my second stay with the hotel franchise in kanazawa- i stayed in their other hotel more in the town centre previously. They both smelled amazing. I don’t know what they use, but they have a specific scent that they make for their hotels. Apparently Kanazawa also has a tradition of incense and so they’ve incorporated a signature scent based on it. I wish I could buy it tbh- so Koko staff- if you see this, please make it an item you sell! The rooms are a good size, for Japan, and the bathtub in the room is MASSIVE. Sadly I dont have photos as I forgot to take them. They have a lovely outdoor on the top floor as well, where you can sip a drink and enjoy the view which i do have photos of.

Very Good
WWoailvxingdianyingyinyueyueduStayed at Kanazawa Blue Time Youth Hostel for six consecutive nights. After arriving at Komatsu Airport, it costs 1300 yen to take the airport bus directly to Kanazawa Station. From the Gumen of the Kanazawa Station sign, walk about 150m to the building where the Youth Hostel is located. The Youth Hostel is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator here. It is not convenient to carry large boxes. The location of the Youth Hostel is very convenient. It is a 3-minute walk to Kanazawa Station. There are various dining and supermarkets in the station. You can walk to the sightseeing areas such as Jinjiang Market, Kenliuyuan, Kanazawa City, 21st Century Art Museum, Dongchawu Street and other sightseeing areas. You can also buy a 1-day bus ticket to visit Kanazawa in the Kanazawa Station sightseeing case. I stayed in a girls' bed room. The area needs to enter the password. The privacy is very good. There are seven girls' beds. There is a toilet and a shower room for girls. It is clean and comfortable. There is a facial cleanser shower gel conditioner hair dryer. The bed is very spacious, not the bunk bed but the single floor, the space is quite large, there is a locker with a password in the bed, there are slippers, a clean bath towel is provided every day during the stay, and the free network signal is stable. There is also a special tea room in the girls area with a water heater microwave oven. Note that toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided here. Shower room is small and can feel cramped and crowded for tall people. The only problem for me is that the mattress is too soft and I am not very comfortable with it myself. The public space of the Youth Hostel provides free coffee and tea, and the mixed dormitory area also has a shower room washing area washing machine dryer, which is more complete. This is a good affordable place to stay when traveling alone in Kanazawa, and I have a pleasant time here. Kanazawa is a clean, beautiful, quaint and charming city, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit again.
