Hotels near Chiba Castle Ruins, Chiba City

When the new station opened in 2023, the hotel wasn't built yet, so I finally had a chance to experience it this time. The hotel is very close to the JR station, truly living up to its 'JR to hotel' name. The lobby on the first floor has direct access to a convenience store, which is exclusively for hotel guests after 10 PM. The room is spacious and well-equipped, even featuring an electric massage chair. The mini-fridge had complimentary juice, soda, and chocolates, and a free bottle of water was provided daily. The bathroom was very comfortable, perfect for a relaxing bath. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have direct access to the adjacent mall, and for laundry, definitely avoid selecting wash and dry together; the best solution is to wash separately and dry separately. If I have the chance again, this hotel will be my top choice in the Mihama area because the transportation and accommodation experience were truly excellent.

The hotel just opened in June, so it was very clean. The station is right in front, and there's an outlet mall nearby, so you won't have trouble finding places to eat. However, I have a few suggestions for improvement: There were about 30 people waiting to check in at 3 PM, so I had to wait quite a while. Parking costs 2,500 yen. There's no staff constantly present for the tower parking, which makes it time-consuming to get your car in and out. There were no tissues in the changing room of the public bath, which is something I really hope they'll install. I wanted to wipe hair and wet tables. There were also very few trash cans; just one small one around the table area. On the positive side, the shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower heads were all from Refa. I went to the public bath at 4 PM. The sauna is big enough for about 4 people and was 86°C. I thought I was the first one in the sauna, but I was surprised to see a lot of hair on the floor inside. I also went to the public bath at night, and the drain at the back was clogged, causing dirty water to overflow. I called the front desk to report it but couldn't get through for a while. When I finally did, they said they understood, and I waited for some time, but no one came. When I checked out, I mentioned this to the front desk staff, and they said the cleaning company is a separate entity, so they don't have good coordination. I really hope they can improve on the cleanliness. The cost performance is excellent, so I hope these improvements can be made. The lighting in the 14th-floor lounge was too bright, so I wish they would make it a more relaxing brightness.

Hotel is located by the Chiba station, and is directly connected to the station. Room is spacious and come with a sofa. Check in and out is conducted via self check-in machines.

I chose this hotel specifically because of its long history, and it absolutely lived up to expectations! The lobby, corridors, elevators, and rooms all exude a grand 90s style, and the room doors even retain the old-fashioned key entry. My room also had a walk-out balcony with panoramic city views. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Kaihin-Makuhari Station. Around the station, there are many restaurants, and an outlet mall on one side. On the other side of the hotel, there's even a Sushiro. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and they offer luggage storage. The only minor drawback is that some of the authentic vintage fixtures, like the faucets, were a bit difficult to use. Also, the hotel follows environmental regulations, so they don't offer full daily room cleaning.

I had a wonderful experience at Capsule Hotel The Inn. The building was within walking distance from Chiba Station, which I reached from the Narita airport using one train within an hour, which was a huge plus. The area was very quiet, and I slept really well in my cozy capsule. My cubicle was well equipped with a TV, lamp, locker, hand sanitizer, cups for water (they even provided a bottle of water at check-in), and there were candies waiting for me inside — such a nice touch! I truly had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was 5 out of 5! 👍🏻 Check-in was smooth and easy. Check-out was also straightforward, though it’s important to note their very strict policy: everyone must be out by 10:00 AM, even long-stay guests, as the entire hotel closes for daily maintenance. This wasn’t an issue for me since I stayed only one night, but it’s good to be aware of. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily stay again. Thank you for such a lovely stay! 💖

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and a sleeping gown was provided during my stay which was a nice touch. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant. The hotel’s location is very convenient and easy to find, just a short walk after exiting the station.There is also a direct train from Chibaminato Station to Tokyo Station via the Keiyo Line, which makes traveling very convenient. Livemax Hotels and Resorts maintains a consistent standard of cleanliness and comfort. I also stayed in Kannai-Ekimae branch, which was equally clean and comfortable. Overall, I am very happy with my stays at both Livemax locations. The hotels are highly recommended, especially for travelers looking for budget-friendly accommodations. Additionally, for a small extra fee of ¥1,000, guests can extend their stay until 12:00 PM, which is an excellent value.

Service from the staff was nice.. facilities was okay.. location was near the train station.. we didnt like the vibe of the area especially at night.. felt like the security in the area was very very poor. there are always a lot people camping around from the train station all the way to the hotel, trying to prey on people who are alone. they are always staring at me and my husband everytime we walk back from the train station. during our 1st night stay, my husband went down to the nearby combini alone and an obaasan kept following him asking if he wants massage service from hotel to combini and back to the hotel. then another night, we saw 1 girl got cornered by a group of guys while walking back to the hotel. she was obviously distressed but we are couldnt do anything since we are outnumbered. we didnt want to get into trouble so we can only walk away with guilt as fast as we could back to the hotel. drunk people everywhere. no police in sight during the few nights we were there as well. overall, definitely no issue with the hotel but we will not return to Chiba again.

Didn't enjoy my stay here due to the poor sound proofing. I could hear my neighbours in the middle of the night for both nights I was there (up to 1am and 3am respectively). Had to call the front desk to stop but it didn't help. People were laughing loudly and talking loudly in Japanese. Seems like they gathering there for some party. Breakfast was really bad too. This is the worst hotel breakfast I ever had. Only the view (21F sky lounge venue) was nice. Don't pay extra for this. Room is quite run down and the toilet bathroom as well. Didn't use it but go to the onsen instead. Parking is 1000yen per night and you are allowed to enter and exit many times. Pros: Next building there's a Donki and lawson Opp is a 7-11 Onsen is nice

The hygiene was great. I booked a twin room, and the two beds were pushed very close together. The surrounding transportation is very convenient, with a subway and bus station just a 3-minute walk to the hotel. There are many convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping malls nearby. The environment is also very quiet. It's a shame the room was small. The hotel provides disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and slippers. Cleaning is done every three days.

It was a pleasure staying at the Famy hotel clean good breakfast and a very good reception staff specially Kozo who was friendly and very helpful highly recommended closed to Makuhari hongo st.. only 45 min from Tokyo ( suidobashi st. ) I stayed there 8 night straight got Onsen with sauna at the top and local Hal’s see food restaurant at the top if you lazy to go out to eat basic and good buisiness or if you want to have a cheaper solution and don’t mind a 45 min ride to Tokyo also easy to get to the airport one way with Kristi line so give good solution .
