"The main thing is the location. Right next to the bus and train stations. And it was a 20-minute walk from the port. I imagine this used to be a fashionable mansion. High ceilings, a pompous staircase. But the room converted into a private residence is a bit odd. The central room with a double bed is flawless. But the second single bed is right in the hallway by the door. The hallway is about 8 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. You open the door, and there it is, the bed. And instead of slats, there's thick, creaky plywood. Not very presentable. And the bathroom is funny, like a tall, narrow cabinet, with a 30-centimeter gap past the toilet and bidet. Overall, not bad. But nothing special."
"👍It is quite convenient to take the bus from the train station to the accommodation, but the bus does not accept cash, and you need to buy tickets or swipe a credit card in advance.
👍The bus stop is really not far from the accommodation, but if you go the wrong way, you will not be able to get out.
❓It is a self-service check-in, but I was not told and did not know what to register online in advance? So I could not get the room card. I struggled at the door for a long time before I got the help of other travelers and called the customer service phone to get it solved.
🍄The room is on the top floor--it is a loft-style--the beams are a bit low~~ We are old and are afraid of hitting our heads, otherwise it is a very special accommodation experience.
🍄The space is spacious, but the kitchen + dining table in this room is very narrow, which is very different from the booking photos! The equipment is quite complete! Tableware and electric kettle are provided.
🍄There is a rest + reading space on the first floor.
In the bathroom next to it, there is a small self-service washing machine.. I can't understand the operating instructions and give up!
🍄Very close to the cruise terminal, you can walk there with your luggage.
🍄Nearby restaurants--good!"

"Nice light airy apartment in great location. Close to the Flix bus stop, train station, cruise terminal and bars/restaurants/shops. Apartment is fairly basic but comfortable enough. Bed was a little firm, bathroom and kitchen basic. Would consider staying again at the right price."
"Structure in a strategic position with clean and welcoming rooms, it has a spacious and very beautiful breakfast area, typically Viennese, a legacy of the history of Trieste. Very kind staff and perfect breakfast. Delicious cappuccino, on the other hand we are in the city of coffee."
"The apartment is located in a beautiful old building, in excellent location, just a few minutes from the Canale Grande/Vecchio. Very clean and ordently. Clean textiles. spacious. Once a week, a basic cleaning and replacement of bed linen and towels takes place. The bathroom is beautiful and well equipped. However, only the most necessary and simple is available. About standard articles such as. Wrists or tops are to be asked extra. In addition, the noise from the kitchen is unfortunately very noisy and disturbs significantly during sleep (therm and extremely noisy refrigerator). At my request, the heat was closed at night, nothing happened. The air conditioning works, but is extremely noisy during operation. The refrigerator was wrongly set and is poorly designed. The condensation water runs under the vegetable box and, by increasing it, ensures that the door is almost impossible to close, which is blocked. Problems such as the wrong setting of the refrigerator or the defected toilet washing box were quickly fixed by the staff. Partly, the walls could be removed and some items (e.g. beans in the bathroom) could be replaced.
The staff takes care of it, but you don't feel very welcome as a guest. It is provided a service to the guest with the necessary courtesy. All beyond that is not considered necessary.
Concluded: good accommodation in top position, best suited for unexpected and short stays. For me too expensive with these shortcomings. With a little effort you could improve the stay of guests a little bit and make it beautiful. Shame that so little customer connection is operated."
"In someone else's house, I knocked on the door and they didn't open the living room. They booked together. The friend helped to open the door. The soundproofing was particularly poor. Other guests walked around and were very noisy. When I went to pick up the luggage in the afternoon, they didn't mention the things that fell in the room? The only advantage is that there is a self-service kitchen."
"I loved our overnight stay at The Modernist! It’s a chic, smart, arty hotel in the centre of the city, easy walking distance to all the shopping, bars and restaurants. The room was spotless with tea, coffee, minibar and toiletries all provided. The restaurant and cocktail bar serves creative cocktails, a great buffet breakfast and a fabulous dinner - we enjoyed them all!!"
"It's easily reached from the central station in 5 minutes, and the hotel is just 8 minutes from the city center, making it quite convenient. The staff at reception are very professional and helpful, as are those in the restaurant. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, both sweet and savory. I highly recommend it."

Amazing
MMarawan ShalabyThe hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the city center and the grand canal. The rooms are very clean and the hotel staff is quite welcoming and helpful. Breakfast variety was not the best, and it would have been nice to have an indoor pool in the hotel, given that we visited in December, so it would have been hard to visit the beach (there are no public beaches in the main Trieste city anyway, we’d have to go to Barcola for that).
TTatiana S RodionovaThe hotel was as described, good location not far from the train station but not too close. Close to the shops and bars and city center. They offer free minibar, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here. The only downside is the lack of day light and lights in the room are also not bright.
SSandraAt the Horel Miramare I was only one night during a trip with my husband.
It is located in a comfortable location just a few minutes walk from the Castle,
the staff is very friendly and kind,
The view from the room on the sea is really wonderful,
but the hotel is certainly to consider more 3 stars and not 4 a little for everything from breakfast to
bathroom, shower with a displaced fabric tent,
Of deteriorated parts such as doors, on ground
You have health care, especially dirty around.
For the good complex but not very good from 4 stars.
GGuest UserWe had a twin room with 2 single beds. It was great that the bathroom was in the bedroom and we had a small balcony. The hostel has an elevator and free luggage storage. The reception isn't open 24 hours, but the staff are friendly. The bar in the hostel is also good. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar was closed or only open for private events. The hostel doesn't have its own parking. Nearby are Molo IV car park and Saba Silos multi-storey car park at the station, both not far away (chargeable and possibly requiring prior reservation). There's also a free car park for cars a bit further out (Park Bovedo), which is easily reached by bus line 6. Unfortunately, the bus is always quite full. There are some bars nearby and almost everything is within walking distance.
:( The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The doors close quite loudly, which makes it difficult to sleep in during your holiday. Generally, the hostel is quite noisy. I would have liked to have found a wardrobe or hangers in the room.
TTimeTravellerIf you want to truly experience Trieste in the right location and with style then this is the place. A small perfectly built Palace run by staff who care about their guests. There is absolutely everything you need here. I arrived late at night and when I walked out onto the breakfast room the following room found myself saying wow at the view on the stunning Piazza. I choose this hotel because I had always wanted to stay there in Trieste, I did return for a second stay and I would stay there again. You are close to the sea, the historical centre, numerous bars and restaurants, shopping and tourist hotspots. The rooms are lovely, majestically clean. Breakfast are a relaxing experience you do not want to hurry because why would you with that view around you. The bar is the place to be throughout the day and also acts as an informal restaurant throughout the day. Formal is also available but that was not my choice. Rooms were large comfortable and very clean with the best amenities provided. Book your stay, you know you want to!
GGuest UserFrequent weekend awayer's we loved everything at this boutique style hotel. The staff and front desk were aware of our needs before we were. The vehicle valet parking truly convenient as parking in Trieste can be daunting if you don't know your way around. We loved breakfast and it was beautifully presented and cooked to order. We could have sat eating all day! The room was fitted with an amazingly comfy bed and pillows and the decor delights the senses. We will certainly return to this gem.
SSoniaAlbergo nuovo, pulito, ordinato, caldo.. bella e buona colazione e personale super gentile.. e stato un piacevole soggiorno.
Situato in centro, a 2 passi da tutto... Top!
GGuest User17 min away from the port terminal or 8 min from the train station. The place is neat and clean. Rooms are adequately illuminated and comparatively spacious. Staff are very nice and friendly and super helpful. My friend left something in the ship and the reception staff helped to contact the ship company to report the lost. Highly recommended 👍🏼
LLori C.A safe, 3-star hotel in a great location that's excellent for solo travelers. It's located near the cruise ship terminal (18 minute walk) and train station. There are restaurants, shopping, a 24-hour laundromat, post office, and grocery store nearby. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was able to check in early; they also offer a luggage storage room. I received excellent travel advice...I was able to plan and execute a day trip on a water taxi to Muggia, Italy on my arrival day then went to Slovenia the following day. They also booked an early morning (0430 am) airport taxi for me as well. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and was constantly replenished but not a big area, again great for solos. My room on the 5th floor was a little outdated but clean and comfortable. The front desk is not open 24-hours. I would definitely stay here again.
