Sue_AI had a good stay at Novotel Leeds Centre. The staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect - just a 10 minute walk from the train station and close to the city centre. Breakfast could have been better, and my room wasn’t spotless, but overall it was a pleasant experience. I will still recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Leeds for the first time.

Room by reception, very very noisy.
No soap and shower gel in the bathroom.
No hair dryer. Hotel wasn’t busy and there was plenty of rooms of the same one we booked but, they chose to stick us there. That room should oy be used when hotel is at capacity. Think the receptionist was only interested in upgrading us for an extra fee. She sort of blackmailed us, she said this is your room if you don’t upgrade, like wth

The room is a normal-sized one, equipped with 2 British twin bed (Width: 130~140cm), and it was prepared in an acceptable condition. Air-conditioner is available, but you may find that it need to be turned on for 2~3 times a day, as the system had been set in an economic mode by the hotel. The breakfast is a typically British one, whilst baked mushroom is not provided. Nevertheless, the breakfast tastes good, and you could serve yourself with chocolate croissants, cheese, hot tomato mush, vegetarian-friendly sausages, honey, tinned peaches and coconut yoghurt. Toothpastes and toothbrushes could be ordered with a fee (£2), thereby you'd better rake your own's. The location is reasonable, since the hotel adjoins the John Lewis shopping mall, and there's only 10-min walk way between the hotel and Leeds coach station. Meanwhile, you may walk to the Victoria and Trinity shopping centres in 15~20 minutes from the hotel, though it might be a bit inconvenient to travel to the nearby downtown by bus, given the lack of bus stops next to the gate of this hotel. Overall, it's a foolproof option for someone who anticipate a lodging experience surpassing the average level there.

The hotel it's self was brilliant and the location was fab . Got late check out witch again was great but the cleaning was not great BUT I did talk to the lady in the morning and she asked for the photos and flagged it straight away. This lady was fantastic but didn't get her name .
The bed sheets where ALL inside out and the bottom sheet was not big enough so there was a 4” gap at the top of the bed witch was mattress protecter, this had a dirty mark on it that looked like blood .
The whole room was dusty and the spoons for the cups where dirty and it looked like it had not been hooved . I didn't want to course a fuss as me and my daughter had a brilliant night and I didn't want to spoil it .
It was flagged with management so I'm hoping they get in touch with me regarding this situation as obviously I did pay for a clean room .

The Met Hotel offers the most convenient location in Leeds, just a 4-minute walk from the train station. Additionally, the warm hospitality I received made my stay truly unforgettable. The hotel’s interior is beautifully decorated in Victorian style, adding to its charm.

Yellow Patient> The hotel's location is superb, just a two-minute walk to the First Direct Arena, which is super convenient after a concert. The rooms are modern and clean, infused with a strong Yorkshire flavor, and the front desk staff are particularly enthusiastic. It's great value for money!
> Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money! The rooms are cozy and well-designed, with clean and comfortable bedding that ensures a good night's sleep. The downstairs public areas and front desk service are excellent, and the surrounding transportation and dining options are convenient. It's a hidden gem for anyone visiting Leeds on business.

The front desk staff, a Pakistani guy, was really friendly. When he found out I was Chinese, he said China and Pakistan are good friends and then gave me a great room with a view of Leeds Cathedral. For an Ibis Budget triple room, this price is an absolute steal, especially for a family of three!

Lovely hotel and excellent value if you can book it at the right time. Very luxurious for the price I paid. A little bit out on a limb for access into Leeds city centre but plenty of bars and restaurants in nearby Headingley. The main restaurant at the hotel is quite upmarket but the attached pub The Stables is excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Guest UserGood front office team and very helpful throughout my stay.
I accidentally left my suit behind, and I hope they will kindly arrange to send it back, as I have already organised the postage.
Overall, a really good team. A special mention to the chef in the kitchen, who clearly enjoys looking after guests and making sure everyone is well fed.
Great service and a lovely team.

Nice hotel, cost-effective, small and clean, the shower room is quite big, but the sound insulation is not very good. After staying for a few days, I had to take taxis both in the morning and in the evening. There seemed to be a school opposite and there was a large green space.
