"Its standout feature is an excellent location, directly opposite the Louvre's entrance. There's a McDonald's and Starbucks downstairs, along with many restaurants nearby. The room itself is well-equipped, and the high ceilings make the space feel quite spacious."
"It’s been ten years since I last came to France. I’m so lucky to have chosen this hotel. Though it’s not large, it’s incredibly cozy and perfectly located, not far from all the major attractions with extremely convenient transportation. Most notably, Montmartre is just a short walk away.
The staff at the front desk are very friendly, and the room is cleaned every day. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the surrounding street is quiet, allowing me to sleep soundly every night.
Overall, I absolutely love this hotel and will definitely recommend it to all my friends planning a trip to Paris. ❤️❤️❤️"
"Lovely room and adorable staff, however, a small downside: the cleaning staff started making noise very early by loudly moving furniture and vacuuming (not great for a lie-in 😝)."
"Location: Located midway between the Opera House and the Louvre, both about a 10-minute walk apart, very convenient. Facilities: Meets basic travel needs; clean and tidy; luggage storage available; basic Western breakfast. Service: The front desk staff are very friendly, offering free water, directions, and taxi assistance; available 24 hours a day. Surroundings: Opposite to the hotel are noodle shops, and nearby are many Japanese and Korean restaurants, catering to Asian tastes. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Paris."
"The location is fantastic! It's just a 5-minute walk to the Louvre underground shopping mall entrance. Other attractions like the Orangerie Museum, Musée d'Orsay, and Notre Dame are all within a 30-minute walk, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel also has a cafe on the ground floor, and they offer a complimentary fragrant 'welcome coffee' to each guest, which was a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome! There are always staff available to assist guests. While the rooms are on the smaller side and not very numerous, they are very cozy and charming – truly a 'small but beautiful' experience! Highly recommend!"
"I love that there is a smart toilet installed in the room! I booked the standard room 16m2 with window. The room is spacious and clean. It is a great location, with Galeries Lafayette just 3 mins away and Mcdonalds around the corner. There is great transporation link with 3 mins for the metro and bus ! Aircondition is working as well!"
"A small very centrally located simply renovated hotel with an exceptional personnel and a good breakfast!
As most hotels in Paris the rooms are very small but clean with a high price for what they offer.
I had a classic room but without a view in the street and I couldn't make a call with my phone because there was not signal inside it so I had to go either to the lobby or outside.
So it's recommended that a room with view is asked during the reservation. All rooms have fridge and an electric kettle for coffee or tea making which is a plus for a room.
Overall I liked it and I would stay again"
"The hotel itself was wonderful and, compared to many of the hotels we experienced in France, it was definitely one of the best. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very clean, and the bathroom was large and comfortable.
However, there were two things that we did not really like. First, the area around the hotel did not feel very comfortable or safe to us, as there were quite a lot of homeless people around the hotel. This made us feel a little uneasy, especially when walking around the area.
The second issue was the air conditioning. It was controlled by a central system and we initially could not set the temperature below 22°C. During our stay, there was a heat wave, so the room felt quite warm. We contacted the hotel, and they eventually adjusted it for us, which we appreciated, although we felt that they were not very happy about having to make the adjustment.
Overall, the hotel itself was excellent and stood out compared to the other hotels we experienced in France. The room and facilities were great, but the surrounding area and the air conditioning system were the main drawbacks of our stay."
"My daughter and I arrived at the hotel at 10.30am and the staff helped us to check in immediately. We could relax for a bit before heading out.
Though we booked a standard Double Room, they gave us a Triple Twin bed room. The room is so spacious. My daughter absolutely love it.
Also, the location is unbelievably convenient. We could just walk to Galeries Lafayette and Palais Garnier too.
There are so many good cafes around which are within walking distance of 15~20 minutes....such as Cult Coffee, Kozy Cafe, Shigure Cafe, Cafe Jirisan and the nice Japanese Ranen place ”Isshin Ramen”
Highly recommend!"
"Great location if you're travelling via the EuroStar. Had everything you needed, very cozy and convenient. Very friendly check in staff and safe.
Did have to wait some time to be let into the hotel as no one was on reception later at night. Could do with a little bit of love with the paint and removal of mould smell in the bathroom. Really would have preferred frosted glass to the bathroom as you can see straight into the bedroom 🙈"

Amazing
GGuest UserThe room is small but well-equipped. The heated towel rack was very useful. There were staff members at the entrance who opened and closed the door for us every time we entered or exited. The subway station is just tens of meters away, and it's a residential area, so it doesn't feel overly crowded or complicated with people, making it quite safe.
GGuest UserWell concetualised hotel based on literature. This one was Marcel Proust. If you are keen to literature, you should stay in this hotel. Lobby was well designed with classic + modern style, the room was spacious enough with necessary amenities. Big Juliet balcony window but double glazed so no noise heard even it’s on the main road. High ceiling and bathroom ok. Sometimes when you go concept hotel, I could be quite tacky but this one was really well presented. Good bed and linens. Double bed larger than normal double bed. Staff members were helpful and even brought a bulb to fix the light.
I will stay in this hotel again.
SSupercubThe room was decent, and being on a high floor, it offered a nice view. However, I booked a twin room but was given a king-sized bed at check-in. I had to go to the front desk and ask them to have housekeeping split the king bed into two twins. This caused a bit of a delay, and the beds were still too close together for my liking. Not entirely satisfied.
GGuest UserThe room was small but MORE than adequate for a solo traveler. They also incorporated storage spaces that I didn't even use, since as under-bed drawers and a little closet. I thought it was a very clever use of space.
The air conditioning in my room was very good and kept the room quite cool. The room was clean when I arrived and perfectly refreshed each day when I returned. I very much enjoyed my stay.
The shower in the bathroom was my only difficulty. It was small enough that I couldn't bend over. 🤣 But all in all, it was a very efficient use of space and perfectly adequate for a space I only occupied to sleep
I also liked having local TV stations, as I got to watch the fireworks on Bastille Day.
I don't know what the hamman is.
I think there were plenty of transportation options nearby, but as a solo woman, I felt mildly uncomfortable with the vibe of the neighborhood. It didn't feel dangerous at all. But there were quite a few homeless people between the hotel and any bus stop/train station. I don't know a solution. I just think a solo woman traveler would want to know this. Again, I never felt unsafe. Just a little ”aware” of my vulnerability at night.
I would 100% stay here again.
HHaita777The price is reasonable, and having a police station downstairs made us feel very safe. It's conveniently located near a metro station, but we mostly took Ubers to get around. Ubers to major attractions were only about 10-15 Euros, which was cost-effective for a group. The area is a local residential neighborhood with a Carrefour supermarket, fruit stores, delicious cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and a pharmacy. The sink was a bit clogged, but the front desk quickly sent someone to fix it. Overall, a great stay, and I'd consider staying here again.
LLiliichanI stayed for 7 days.
The location is excellent, and I felt at ease knowing that English was spoken.✨
**Location:**
It's within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and Avenue des Champs-Élysées, meaning there are tons of train and bus lines available! You can even get to the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland without any transfers. Access to Charles de Gaulle Airport is also good, taking about 50 minutes by train or 35 minutes by car. I also went to Orly Airport for one night to visit Nice. You can get to the airport line (CDG, ORLY) with just one transfer, so the location is truly fantastic.
**Amenities:**
Water and potato chips were provided daily. Tea and a kettle were also available, which was a nice touch. There are no toothbrushes, pajamas, or slippers. I brought my own slippers to use in the room. I never quite figured out why some days there were no chips or water (lol).
**Cleanliness:**
Bed making was done meticulously every day. It seems towels are only replaced if left on the floor; they weren't replaced on days I left them on the shelf.
GGuest UserWas keen to experience the “real Paris“ so wasn’t 100% sure what kind of experience we would have, especially at a hotel that we hadn’t stayed at before… However was so pleasantly surprised with a very warm welcome and quick check-in process, and ultimately a stunning hotel room. Took a short five minute walk around the area and stumbled on a cobblestone Lane of Great bars and restaurants where we spent our evening. Location to Central Paris isn’t ideal but definitely worth being able to see more of Paris.
GGuest UserThe hotel is just in front of the station Gare du nord.Very easy and convenient to go anywhere to Eiffel tower,Louvre museum, and others from here either by bus, metro,Eurostar.U won't get lost.Just the lift for the hotel is a bit small. It can accommodate u and 2 big luggage one time. There is KFC beside the hotel and other cafes. The carrefour is behind the hotel. So u can shop some groceries or snacks also.
LLes.A group of students stayed next to us, we couldn't sleep at night until early morning for 2 nights out of our 3 nights stay. The mirror was broken in the bathroom, there was no shower curtain. But close to the metro station and McDonald's. Not too far from Eurostar station.
AAMAKA SPARKLEVery horrible hotel for black female travellers.
I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival.
Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris.
There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper.
The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel.
I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night.
The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars.
In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room.
It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****.
We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear.
Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us.
Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them.
We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day.
Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me.
I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug.
I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare.
As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
