"About 900 meters from Cologne Central Station, the hotel is undergoing partial renovation, so the facilities are a bit old. The bathroom is particularly large, but the room itself isn't huge. Soundproofing isn't great, and it can be a bit noisy around 8 AM when the hotel staff starts cleaning. On the bright side, there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk and other staff are very welcoming and friendly."

"The hotel is situated at around 5 minute walk from the Train Station. We arrived the hotel by a late ICE train at night, there is no problem regarding safety or ease of access. The reception is 24 hours manned, and has a self-service drink kiosk which you find rare to be free on European budget hotel chains. Overall lovely staff and big hotel. Note this hotel has only stair access, but to be fair for the price we paid for it is totally acceptable."

"Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Der Check-In verlief problemlos - allerdings ist die offizielle Check-In um 16 Uhr relativ spät. Wir hatten Glück, dass unser Zimmer eine Stunde früher fertig war. Das Hauptgebäude und die Zimmer sind einwandfrei sauber und modern. Alles passt optisch zum Motto Motorsport - wirklich sehr gelungen. Auch die Zimmergestaltung schloss sich dem Design an - leider hatten wir kein Bett in Auto-Optik - das wäre die Krönung gewesen. Auch konnte man die Betten nicht so gut in Einzelbetten trennen, da durch die Nachttische der Platz begrenzt war. Sehr toll ist das tiptop saubere Bad, vor allem die Dusche. Sehr wasserdicht und eine schöne Größe. Straßenlärm hört man kaum, sehr ruhige, modern Gegend mit Restaurants und dem Auto-Museum direkt daneben. Es gibt auch einen schönen Spielplatz in direkt Nähe ebenso wie die Straßenbahnhaltestelle (S5 IKEA Butzweilerhof). Ein großer Parkplatz ist ebenso vorhanden. Also alles in allem eine sehr praktische Lage!"

"A wonderful hotel! It has a very romantic and atmospheric character, and the building itself is full of charm. The young staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The location is priceless. You are right in the heart of everything, with major attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, a gas station, and a convenience store all within walking distance. The most unforgettable feature of the hotel is the breathtaking view of the cathedral from your room. Waking up to that view is truly special. Cologne may well be the most beautiful city in Germany. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of delicious options. This hotel will make you happy in every way. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"This hotel is really good. Maybe it's because the hotels I stayed at in Paris were too small, but arriving in Germany, this hotel was spacious and very clean. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. The breakfast was also decent, and the staff always gave me bottled mineral water. The owner seems to be Chinese and was very friendly. It was a really great experience, and I'd recommend it to my friends."

However, there's significant room for improvement concerning room facilities, cleanliness, and service details. Pros: ✅ Convenient Location: The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and supermarkets, making daily life incredibly easy. ✅ Front Desk Service Was Okay: The front desk staff's attitude was acceptable. Areas for Improvement: ⚠️ Cramped Room Space: The hotel rooms are very compact. ⚠️ Bed Setup Affected Sleep: The double bed I booked was actually made from two single beds pushed together. I kept falling into the gap between them, which severely impacted my sleep quality. ⚠️ Towel Cleanliness Issues: The towels had stains, indicating that hygiene needs to be stepped up. ⚠️ Lack of Essentials and Proactive Service: There was no soap provided in the room, and no staff member proactively replaced it. This significantly detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. Conclusion: Despite the hotel's good location and acceptable front desk service, the room size, bed design, towel cleanliness, and especially the lack of essential items (like soap) without proactive replenishment, significantly affected my experience. I hope the hotel can improve its facilities and the meticulousness of its service based on these points."
