"We booked a room that was a medium and then were upgraded to a bigger room for six nights. The room itself was quirky with a big comfortable bed. Great location too. Staff were prompt at fixing our clogged up sink and were friendly when we requested things. Breakfast was limited but fresh and well cooked.
There is very limited storage or shelving space in the room, also no fridge. The shower in the room was an absolute nightmare and very difficult to use for a week given its tiny size. It also had great fluctuations in temperature depending on who was using water in other rooms."
"The hotel is about 1.1 kilometers straight from the train station's rear exit, which is a bit of a distance. You'll eventually have to carry your luggage up stairs (or drag it up a ramp) to reach the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the subway for one stop with your luggage and use the hotel's front entrance (though there are still stairs or a ramp to climb). Inside, the hotel is great: it has an elevator and air conditioning (not just a cooler). Check-in at the front desk was quick, and you can store your luggage after check-out (highly recommended)."
"An excellent hotel in the very heart of the city centre of Dusseldorf. The hotel is fantastic, the staff super polite and helpful and the room spacious, spotless and well decorated. We even had a room upgrade for free!"
"I really enjoy my stay here, the cleanliness, the superb service and friendly staffs, the comfort bed etc. The location is good for going nearby cities for a day trip. Though the surroundings is not pleasant with many homeless, the staff take extra care and also locked the entrance with card access only during the night so I feel very safe staying here. The gym is good with enough kits to meet daily workouts."
"After it was changed from Nikko to Clayton, this was my 2nd stay. I was received by a Japanese staff at the counter (Ms Tomiko - I hope I got her name spelt correctly - if not, my sincere apologies to her!). She was exceptionally polite and welcoming. She accommodated my request for early check in after I told her I a very tired as I just arrived in Frankfurt that very morning and drove for 3 hours to Düsseldorf. She was also kind to advise me to park at QPark in order to save the parking fee. She is really very helpful and thoughtful!
And at night, when I realised that the air conditioning was not functioning as expected, I had a room changed immediately when I called up the staff, in which it was a perfect room with powerful air conditioning system!
All in all, it is certainly a great experience to start my business trip!"
"I've been here a few times now and it's the only hotel I'll stay at, it's very very nice the staff are great very welcoming. The room was nice and cosy bed super comfortable."
"My stay at TRIBE Düsseldorf was excellent overall. The hotel has a modern and fresh style, and the public areas are very well-designed. While the room wasn't huge, it was well-planned, clean, and tidy, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The hotel's location is very convenient; it's within walking distance to the train station and city center, and there are restaurants, supermarkets, and shops nearby, making it very practical. The staff were friendly and efficient during both check-in and check-out. Although the facilities aren't extensive, they are well-maintained and suitable for business travelers and short stays. All in all, it offers good value for money and is a recommendable design hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Düsseldorf."
"Got a complimentary upgrade to a top-floor room with beautiful sunset and fireworks views. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, and the service was excellent. The hotel has a great artistic vibe, perfect for couples. The location is superb. Highly recommend it!"

Great
GGürkan ÖzenWe stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing.
On the first day, the air conditioner in our room was not working. We reported the issue to the reception in the evening, but were told that there were no available rooms. What was more concerning than the problem itself was the indifferent attitude of the reception staff. They showed no empathy, did not apologize, and simply stated that housekeeping had not reported the issue, asking us what they could do.
To ensure the issue would be addressed, I personally reminded them again and provided our room number. I’m glad I did, because it later became clear that no record of our complaint had been made.
That evening, assuming the issue had been resolved, we returned to our room only to find that the air conditioner was still not working. When we reported it again, we received the same standard response: “There are no available rooms.” It felt repetitive and unhelpful, as if no real effort was being made to resolve the situation.
Since it was already late and our last night, we had little choice. Fortunately, a staff member named Fadi from the bar came to assist us. He checked the electrical panel, reset the fuses, and managed to get the air conditioner working. I would like to sincerely thank him for his initiative and helpfulness. Unlike the reception staff, he also proactively suggested a room change if needed.
Additionally, as we were leaving the hotel, we met Ms. Derya from the reception. We explained the situation to her, and she kindly apologized for what had happened. I would like to thank her as well for her understanding and professional attitude.
In summary, this hotel leaves guests to handle issues on their own unless they happen to encounter a helpful staff member. The experience feels inconsistent and unreliable, which is not what one expects from a hotel stay.
SSSR99Fuss free check-ins and can’t complain about the rooms - it was sufficient. They do offer earlier breakfast hours (4am onwards) but I did not take them so I don’t know how it is this might be helpful for those going for early flights! Location is near the airport but far from everything else tho it is a small city after all. Quite affordable option nonetheless and had a smooth check-in experience.
CCristo artetaI stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf for 3 days and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out easy. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the location was convenient for exploring Düsseldorf and using public transportation. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would consider staying here again on a future visit.
BBaOoOComfortable and welcoming hotel with a friendly, helpful staff who make you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The location is excellent—conveniently situated for exploring the area, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transport links. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, offering a relaxing and comfortable stay. Breakfast is varied and tasty, with fresh options to start the day well. Overall, a pleasant experience and a great choice for both short and longer stays.
KKenneth Camillerilocation is A+. 2 minuite walk to the Heinrich underground station which takes you straight to the Messe. Hotel is nice. strange layout but its a medieval building so its part of the charm. Front desk leaves much to desire for a 5 star hotel. the room is ok. was given room 131. mattress was collapsed and definitely not commercial 5 star hotel standard.felt more of a foam cushion than a mattress with just 10 cm height of cushioning. i am 1.87 mtrs height and 110kgs. the mattress went concave when i lied down and my upper back muscles namely rhomboids and lats felt it badly in the morning. Advised the front desk who replied nothing can be done because all mattresses are like that. i don't insist or complain further if i am refused or rejected the first time i ask. on my checkout i advised front desk whose manager was present and i advised i was very happy with location but not with bed. i had no reply from her and she moved away stating in awe that no one had such an issue. on a positive note the breakfast operators who were very attentive and courteous at all times. for 950 euros for 3 nights i think they are very lacking in not being able to provide the basic hotel service of a good nights rest.
GGeorge HuaHotel is good, room service is nice, staff is kind. Facilities are generally in a good condition. Unfortunately, it only has one elevator, so, please avoid to use it during the peak hours. Also, dining hall is quite small, you may have to sit outside at the bar area. 😂
MMaikaixiabeibeiThe service and ambiance were pretty good, but the facilities are showing their age! These past few days, Europe has been experiencing a heatwave, and the AC in my room was completely dead. With temperatures hitting 40 degrees, the room felt like a sauna... 😥😥😥 Even though the hotel staff did their best and brought in a fan, for a 4-star chain hotel, paying attention to heating and cooling systems should be a basic requirement, right? I'm really disappointed with my stay this time around!
GGuest UserWell located for events.
Prices at the bar are outrageously high. €12 for a 0.2l glass of Aperol/Lillet with lots of ice.
Reception staff are super friendly.
李李忻宇Very disappointing experience.
We were a group of five people and booked two triple rooms through Trip.com. Both rooms were advertised as having one large bed plus one sofa bed, which would provide suitable sleeping arrangements for three guests in each room.
However, upon arrival, we found that only one of the two rooms actually had a sofa bed. The other room did not have a sofa bed at all, despite this being part of the room type we had booked and paid for.
As a result, two of the female guests, who were not comfortable sharing the same bed, were forced to sleep together in the same large bed because the hotel failed to provide the sofa bed that was included in the booked room configuration.
This is not simply a minor difference in room facilities. The hotel effectively provided a lower room configuration than what was advertised and paid for, without informing us in advance or obtaining our agreement.
If the hotel cannot provide the room type that a customer has booked, it should inform the customer beforehand and offer an appropriate alternative or compensation. It is unacceptable for guests to discover this only after arriving at the hotel.
I strongly recommend that guests take screenshots of the room description when booking, especially when the sleeping arrangements are important.
