Benefits, simple lines, and the extension of the frame allow customers to return to the most authentic experience, which is cordial and comfortable; in terms of service, it advocates people's needs and moderate safe enjoyment.)

Clean and tidy, with a light fragrance and considerate service, the main focus is on cost-effectiveness. The last time I stayed at the All Seasons was when I went to Shanghai on a business trip in 2015. Now they have opened a store next to their home, the style is still the same, and behind is the Shaolin Temple.

The executive suite here is quite good, much more spacious than the hotels I've stayed at before, and the price is reasonable. It's right on the food street; for lunch, I just popped over to the Wengling Ginger Duck next door. Plus, it's pretty close to the Puppet Theater, Quanzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and Guan Gong Temple. The walls on the ground floor and in the parking lot are also great for photos. It's a shame I was in a rush this time. I hope I get another chance to stay longer next time and properly experience the tea room and the hairpin making.

The hygiene is good and the overall environment is very clean. A toothbrush set is provided upon check-in, and breakfast is provided at the Shaolin Zen Space vegetarian restaurant next door. #Room Facilities There are more than a dozen people living in a study room. There are so many people and they have different schedules, so sometimes it still feels a bit inconvenient. If you can plan ahead, it is better to book a room, which will be more convenient. The room this time was clean, the quilt and pillow were soft, and the mattress was not too soft, which was just what I wanted. The room also provided mineral water and charging sockets (there were not enough sockets, so I suggested you bring your own power strip). The shower gel and shampoo in the shower room also smelled good. The only drawback is that the windows have two layers of screens, and the beds near the windows will be affected by light when sleeping at night. The sound insulation is average, so if you require an absolutely quiet environment, you have to choose a separate room. This time, I happened to have a roommate who was snoring and I couldn't sleep much the whole night. #Good service, luggage storage is available. The hotel provides toothbrushes, drinking water, shower gel, shampoo and washing machines. It is a very mature hotel. #Location and transportation: It is at the foot of Shaolin Temple's martial arts hall, in Wenwu Square, quiet. It is close to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Museum and can be reached in 20 minutes on foot without luggage. After leaving Wenwufang, turn left and walk towards Guangming City for about 5 minutes. There is a self-service bicycle and electric car rental area. Turn right and cross the road to bus No. 41. It can go directly to the Guandi Temple and Confucian Temple area, but it cannot go directly to the high-speed railway station. It takes a long time to take the bus, so if you are in a hurry, you must take a taxi. If you are traveling with two people, I suggest you rent an electric car on West Street, which is convenient for going anywhere. The homestay is not easy to find, so here is a route for those who come later: from Wenwufang Market, walk to the middle of Wenwufang Art District and look left. The inn is behind the long and wide staircase (under the stairs). If you accidentally come to the Martial Arts Hall, you can go down the narrow staircase in Zen Space and turn left and go straight, or go down the long staircase next to the visitor center. The inn is under the stairs. The place with a big sign saying Shaolin Temple Zen Residence is not too far from West Street. It takes about ten to twenty minutes by electric bike, or about ten to twenty yuan by taxi. The location is okay. If you want to focus on Shaolin Temple, this is highly recommended. Food: Because it is at the foot of the mountain, there are not many places to eat around. There is only one vegetarian restaurant, Zen Space, which offers a vegetarian buffet for 39 per person. Their soup is good, and the rest are just ordinary vegetarian dishes. Atmosphere: If you don't go out shopping at night, you can just watch and listen to the singing of the resident ladies in the open-air tea bar outside in Wenwufang. It's also nice and relaxing. Communication: 5G or mobile is required. My broken 4G Unicom has no network when I enter the B&B

This hotel is great! It's located right on the edge of the old town, offering unbeatable city views. You get the convenience of parking, and it's not too far to walk to West Street or Kaiyuan Temple. The local 'mianxianhu' (vermicelli paste) downstairs is incredibly delicious – a must-try! Although the hotel breakfast is also very good; it's the first time I've seen AD milk (a popular Chinese children's yogurt drink) offered for breakfast, and I filled up a big cup. The ice cream at the front desk is a kid's favorite; they grab one every time they enter or leave, and it tastes like Mixue (a popular Chinese ice cream chain). Most importantly, the staff's service awareness is exceptionally high. It's my first time experiencing 5-star hotel service at a 3-star hotel. They gave us a fridge magnet, allowed us a late check-out until 3:30 PM, and even provided various travel guides. The gentleman who helped us was probably Dylan Han, if I remember correctly.

The Atour Hotel is located at Guangmingcheng Square, No. 1089 Citong North Road, Fengze District. It is just a stone's throw away from the South Shaolin Temple Scenic Area. With the theme of "the Chivalrous World in the Zen Spirit", it connects the cultural heritage of the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road with contemporary lifestyle aesthetics. This place was anciently known as the "Buddhist Kingdom in Southern Quanzhou". Amidst the morning bells and evening drums, the martial spirit of Shaolin can be felt, and the hustle and bustle of southern Fujian is fully displayed among the shadows of the red-brick houses. Just as Bai Yansong said, "Quanzhou is a city that you should visit at least once in your lifetime."
"Boasting two world heritage sites and conveniently accessible to the bustling city center"
Enjoy the martial charm by simply looking out of the window: You can reach the South Shaolin Temple on foot, watching the martial monks' morning exercises and appreciating the autumn scenery of the ancient temple.
A 10-minute urban circle: You can drive directly to Quanzhou Museum and West Lake Park. It only takes 15 minutes to reach the ancient alleys of West Street and the Wanda business district in Puxi.
The line connecting mountains and sea: It takes 15 minutes by car to explore Laojun Rock on Qingyuan Mountain, and 20 minutes to reach the folk-custom coastal area of Xunpu with its flower-adorned headdresses.
"Exclusive cultural experience matrix"
"Bamboo Residence": There are thousands of books covering various types of texts. While sipping tea and turning the pages, the fragrance of books fills the air.
"Sweat It Out": A 24-hour intelligent gym where you can strengthen your body and cultivate your mind.
"Detachment": The self-service laundry room is equipped to make you feel as if you are walking in the forest with your clothes fluttering in the breeze.
"Invitation": A healthy and delicious breakfast to energize you for the day. The late-night congee warms not only your stomach but also your heart.
It has the Atour 3.5 "Return Home" series guest rooms. All guest rooms are equipped with "naked-sleep-level" customized bedding from the Plant series, providing you with a comfortable sleeping experience. There are independent air conditioners and a full set of high-end toiletries from the Human Body Research Institute, carefully creating a comfortable and relaxing living space for you.
Just as the ancient Chinese juniper in the Shaolin Temple remains as green as ever after thousands of years, our hotel is willing to be a warm stop for you to explore the southern Fujian culture. Let every stay here not only be a place for your body and mind to rest but also a new beginning of your journey in this world.

Breakfast is relatively small, winning in quality assurance. Atour's service is a must! From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm of the front desk. The bath products are the wooden fragrance that I like. The slight flaw is that the room type is small. I asked the front desk and said that it was the original structure of the house, but it could not be changed. The surrounding area is convenient from Shaolin Temple and non-legacy. Going to West Street and the clock tower, it is recommended to brush 🛵 at the door to ride there. You can slowly experience Quanzhou life without traffic jams.

Nestled at No. 79 Jiuyi Street, Licheng District, Quanzhou, the hotel is adjacent to Guandi Temple, Qingjing Mosque, Confucian Temple, West Street and Zhongshan Road. Right downstairs, you can easily hail the free shuttle bus that travels directly to various scenic spots.
Stroll through the ancient city of Quanzhou and admire the distinctive red bricks, white stones, and exquisitely carved beams and painted pillars, all brimming with unique Minnan (Southern Fujian) characteristics. The hotel provides an exclusive parking lot, and the guest rooms are furnished with deep sleep series bedding for your ultimate comfort.
Whether you are a history enthusiast, a cultural explorer, or a food lover, the ancient city of Quanzhou promises an unforgettable experience. Come here to feel the pulse of this thousand-year-old city, listen to the echoes of history, and savor the charm of Southern Fujian. We look forward to adding more ease and surprises to your Quanzhou journey!

It's close to my workplace so I stayed here temporarily for two nights. The room was arranged on the first floor, with the curtains open facing the parking lot. I was woken up by the noise from the kitchen and restaurant before dawn. The soundproofing in the room was also very poor, and I could hear the footsteps outside the door clearly. It was not warm these days and was even a bit cold. The air conditioner in the room did not heat, and there was no basic hot water supply. I couldn't wash my face, brush my teeth, or take a shower in the morning.

I forgot to take pictures of the room, but overall, my experience at this hotel was truly great! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with excellent facilities. The electric desk was especially convenient – definitely a thumbs-up. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. They even had charging ports at the dining tables, which is a huge plus for anyone with phone battery anxiety.
The hotel's location is also fantastic, right near the Maritime Museum, making transportation very convenient. The biggest surprise was the free, unlimited ice cream – a massive hit with the kids!
This hotel focuses on sports and wellness elements. The lobby has a bicycle that charges your phone, and the rooms are equipped with yoga mats and other gear, showing great attention to detail. My stay was comfortable and thoughtful, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend it!
Plus, there are some great food options nearby, like a fantastic beef noodle shop and delicious 'four-fruit soup'!

GGuest UserThe service here is absolutely amazing! The staff are so warm, thoughtful, and incredibly patient with their explanations. When we checked in, they even gave us a hand-drawn map and went through all the routes, potential pitfalls, and must-see spots. Their recommendations for food and activities were absolute gems – we followed their advice for mochi, mung bean cakes, and the Arts and Crafts Cooperative, and everything was spot-on, way better than anything we could have found doing our own research! They were always ready to help and proactively offered assistance, treating us like friends the whole time. It felt even warmer and more personalized than a five-star hotel.
Traveling with my mom was completely stress-free; this guesthouse provided an incredible sense of security and convenience.
If you're coming to Quanzhou, this is definitely the place to stay. I'll absolutely be back for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends!
GGuest UserThis guesthouse truly lives up to its No. 1 ranking in Quanzhou! The location is superb, the ambiance is top-notch, and the service is incredibly warm and thoughtful. We followed their hand-drawn map and explored so many delicious food spots, and every single recommendation was a hit. They even went out of their way to set up a rooftop movie screening for us, which we really appreciated. It makes sense that breakfast isn't included, as there's simply too much amazing food nearby – you definitely need to save your breakfast appetite for Quanzhou's local snacks. We'll definitely be back, and we'll definitely be staying at Lush when we do!
GGuest UserI rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again.
Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea.
Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean.
Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with.
The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels.
Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.
ZZouzailushangdepipiThis hotel offers excellent service; the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The drinks, ice cream, and game console at the front desk were a must-have for the kids whenever we left or returned. The roasted sweet potatoes were also delicious – please prepare more! The room was very clean, with great attention to detail. The price increase during the Chinese New Year wasn't too outrageous, which was acceptable. Although the breakfast selection was limited, the ingredients were good, and I especially appreciated the separate sections for raw and cooked food. Quanzhou isn't large; a taxi ride to attractions near West Street usually takes less than 20 minutes. The accommodation was very quiet, which was a big plus.
TTheGigiLoving the vibes of this hotel! Clean, comfortable, helpful ground staff, especially friendly customer support through WeChat - Xiao Yang, conveniently located, nice local breakfast provided in the hotel. It’s not located on the Main Street but it’s only a few min walk, which also means less noise at night and early in the morning. I’ll definitely be back again if I ever visit Quanzhou again! Thanks for hosting us!
Llaipeng123Half the joy of this short trip came from this hotel! Its location is perfect – tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet convenient for sightseeing, allowing you to enjoy peaceful downtime. The hotel environment is super comfortable, with greenery tastefully sprinkled throughout the public areas, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was cozy and spotless, with soft lighting design; it was so relaxing to curl up on the sofa and binge-watch shows at night. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. For breakfast, there were freshly made noodles and authentic Chinese pastries that tasted amazing, and even the coffee was freshly ground. The hotel also offers small drinks, and enjoying the breeze and scenery in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The service was consistently excellent, with every staff member wearing a smile, making you feel incredibly welcome. This hotel has definitely made it onto my 'must-revisit' list!
AAnonymous UserTime flies when you're having fun, and my trip to this thousand-year-old Quanzhou city has come to an end. What I'll remember most is choosing 2208 Inn, which boasts a fantastic location on the busiest street in Quanzhou's city center. The West Gate of the famous Kaiyuan Temple is just across the road from the inn.
From my room at the inn, I could open the window and gaze at the beautiful night silhouette of Quanxi Hall on West Street. I could also hear the bustling crowds of West Street from outside my window. Day or night, the ancient city's streets are lined with a dazzling array of local snacks and delicacies – think Mianxian paste, Ginger Duck, Fujianese crispy pork, with famous eateries right next door. If you want a taste, just head downstairs; they're just a few steps away. Xunpu flower-wearing shops are also everywhere. If you want to try wearing the flowers, just go downstairs, and you can instantly transform into a beautiful flower-wearing girl.
What brought me the most joy was the genuine conversations I had with the inn staff every time I returned. The front desk's handsome and dedicated customer service representative, the proprietress's beautiful smile, and the cleaning auntie's meticulousness and hard work all exemplify the inn's warm and thoughtful hospitality.
Thank you all for giving me such wonderful memories of the ancient city. It makes me recall: in this thousand-year-old city, in this little alley corner, I unexpectedly encountered your vibrant, almost divine, warmth and vitality. It makes me miss the moment the pigeons flew past the Twin Pagodas of Kaiyuan Temple in the morning, the fragrant misty aroma of Tieguanyin tea in an old teahouse in the afternoon, and the golden glow of the sunset over Jinjiang River.
Encounters are always brief! I've already made a promise with you – if I ever come to Quanzhou again, I will undoubtedly choose 2208 Inn without hesitation. As the year draws to a close and a new one begins, I wish the inn even greater prosperity and a booming year ahead!
GGuest UserA place full of love! The best hostel I have ever been to (across Asia America and Europe)
Located in the ancient district of Quanzhou so convenient to go most of the spots
Holds a big lobby where has film screening and all kinds of activities every night
Welcoming front desk and I reaaaaaaaly like her. Brought me into the community and share me everything interesting about Quanzhou
Most of the volunteers there used to be the guests (proof for how lovely the community is!) and all thanks to Xinyue, Qiuqiu, Cici, Weiwei, Hongmei, A-Jun, Ms Lin, Bro Cong, and Sis Nan, such an unforgettable memory with you guys in Quanzhou!
MMiaoyaParking was super convenient here! The hotel offers free parking via a QR code scan, and they even have charging stations, which is a huge plus for electric vehicle owners. We really appreciated that! The location is also great for getting around; we easily visited places like West Street.

All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.
