This is the first time I have given such a serious review. First of all, let me talk about the location. It is not far from the train station, but it is very tiring to walk with a suitcase. Secondly, the train is not noisy, but the subway passes below, and there will be a vibration sound every time it passes. Thirdly, the room space is okay, but the design is unreasonable. A toilet, shower and washbasin occupy one-third of the room. The most unreasonable thing is that the towel rack is actually hung in front of the washbasin. It is a right-angle design and cannot be folded. It is very easy to bump.

This hotel definitely feels like a blast from the past. I saw a lot of reviews saying that before I booked, and it's absolutely true – it seriously feels like stepping back into the 80s. The facilities are quite old, and the cleanliness is just about what you'd expect for the price. The location was convenient for me, as it's right near where I was working for my business trip, which is why I chose it. Overall, the hotel service is actually very good, and the breakfast spread is fantastic with a wide variety of options. There's plenty of parking available, and it's free for hotel guests.

This hotel has a pretty good vibe, with lots of traditional Chinese elements in its decor. The facilities are quite comprehensive too; they have a washer and dryer, and the gym even has a treadmill. The staff are also very nice and speak politely. It's quite close to the high-speed train station, and since I was just here to visit Shijiazhuang, the value for money is pretty good for the price. I chatted with their manager for a bit, and they were really nice – you can tell they're very dedicated to their work.

Facilities: It has everything you'd expect: a bathtub, a large bed, and an ergonomic chair. A pleasant surprise was the humidifier, but unfortunately, the air conditioning was broken, which was a downside. Also, there was no executive lounge, which was disappointing. Special shout-out to the swimming pool, it was excellent.
Cleanliness: Good.
Service: I'd like to give a special mention to Esther at the front desk; her service was warm, thoughtful, and absolutely wonderful.

Out of several options at the same price point, I chose the Marriott, and I'm very satisfied with my decision.
The hotel room was very spacious, and the mattress was large and incredibly comfortable. Our family of three slept like three little pigs! The hotel's facilities are comparable to a 5-star property, with a great design aesthetic. There's a dedicated underground parking garage, and the hotel even provided several items for our baby. Overall, the experience was excellent value for money. Thumbs up!

The overall hotel experience was superb! The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and attentive. It offered great value for money.
The biggest highlight was definitely the breakfast. There was a wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious, with hot food, pastries, fruits, and drinks all readily available. Both the taste and presentation were excellent, making for a truly satisfying meal.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I loved that there was a bathtub for soaking, and the toiletries and towels were all of great quality. The room attendant was super friendly and even brought yogurt and snacks upon check-in. AAihekafeideshangguanyuAs always, this established five-star hotel is one of the best in Shijiazhuang. Since it wasn't too crowded during the May Day holiday, the prices didn't increase. When we checked in on May 3rd, there weren't many people. The front desk lady was very friendly and gave us three drink vouchers, which we used up that afternoon (see picture nine). We could get more the next day, so I just grabbed a coffee and a soda to go. I chose to stay at the Intercontinental in Shijiazhuang because reviews mentioned the breakfast was quite good, and it definitely was. We also tried some Banmian noodles, which were decent (that's the last picture). We were on a high floor, so the view from the window was quite open. Oh, and you can get free coffee and cookies next to the check-in counter. As for other facilities, as shown in the pictures, there were no complimentary welcome fruits, and all the drinks in the mini-fridge were chargeable, which is usually free in other hotels. We also went to the swimming pool these past few days. The pool isn't very big, but the water quality was good. On our last day, it was quite busy, probably with local kids taking swimming lessons. The pool water wasn't too cold, but some of the towels had holes, which goes to show the hotel has been around for a while. The hotel's cleanliness was good, and the bottled water provided was free, though there were also some chargeable bottled waters on the table. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shijiazhuang.

Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of Sports South Street in Shijiazhuang, the Venice Water World Hotel is, for me, far more than just a place to stay. Over the past two years, eight (closer to ten now) visits have instilled in me a unique sense of familiarity – a feeling of stepping not into a hotel, but returning to a familiar and warm home every single time.
My first choice was probably due to its excellent location and the allure of 'Water World,' but what keeps bringing me back is that indescribable 'home' feeling. From the moment I push open the hotel doors, the familiar Baroque-style decor greets my eyes, a faint fragrance permeates the air, and the front desk staff always know my surname, greeting me with a 'Welcome home, Mr./Ms. X,' instantly melting away my travel fatigue.
I absolutely love the hotel's food; it's simply incredible! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 You must try their Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), and the breakfast spread is particularly rich and diverse.
The hotel rooms consistently maintain a reassuring level of cleanliness and comfort. The bedding is just right for a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing is excellent, allowing for peaceful nights even in the bustling city. What touches me even more are the subtle touches of care: the humidifier, eye masks, and earplugs always available in the room are a godsend for someone like me who has specific sleep environment preferences. With each stay, I notice small updates to the room facilities, perhaps a new decorative item or upgraded toiletries. This continuous dedication makes me feel the hotel's relentless pursuit of quality.
And 'Water World' is always a highlight I must experience. After a day of work or sightseeing, soaking in the hotel's bathhouse or swimming a few laps in the heated pool makes all fatigue disappear. The bathing facilities here are well-maintained, the water is clear, the environment is elegant, and the staff are always there when you need them, without being intrusive.
What I find most unforgettable is the hotel's personalized service. I remember one time I accidentally left a coat in my room. After contacting the hotel, they not only kept it safe but also proactively arranged for it to be couriered back to me. This sense of responsibility and thoughtfulness made me feel completely at ease.
Over the past two years and nearly ten stays, the Venice Water World Hotel has witnessed my business trips and also accommodated my leisure time. It has never shown any neglect despite my frequent visits; instead, each time it has surprised me with new delights and consistent warmth. It's not just a hotel; it's more like a 'home away from home' in Shijiazhuang, a sanctuary where I can let my guard down and rest peacefully.

It was a pleasant surprise to stay at Hutuo Hotel! The location is excellent, close to the scenic area and commercial area. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the daily cleaning service is meticulous and thoughtful. The front desk is warm and professional 24 hours a day, and responds to any problems in seconds. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the local snacks are very authentic. I especially like the balcony in the room, which can take in the natural scenery of Hutuo River. The front desk service was great and they helped me plan my route. The facilities are relatively advanced, clean and tidy, and very comfortable. If you want to stay in Shijiazhuang and want to stay in a cost-effective, clean and tidy hotel with good and new facilities, this is the hotel to choose.

GGuest UserI received a reminder about my one-night stay here three days before arriving, so I assumed that everything was OK with my reservation. When I showed up, the receptionist said that she couldn't give me a room and wrote in Chinese which I translated that she could help me to get a refund. I replied, 'No, I have a reservation so you must give me a room. If you don't have any available here, let's go to the hotel next door and you can ask them to do you a favor and give you one for me.' We did, but it seems that there were none available. So, after going back to Junting Business Hotel, she gave me a room. I still don't understand what the problem was and request the hotel to respond here. The receptionist's incompetence was a big shock because it's the first time that I experienced it in China. The big advantage of this hotel is that it's about a seven-minute walk from the airport, T2. Another advantage is that they sell a variety of snacks and drinks. Upon checking out, I had to just leave the room key on the counter because no one was there.
