From the first moment I saw pictures of this hotel, I fell in love with its elegant, antique, and charming vibe. My stay only deepened that affection. The street outside is lined with ancient trees, quiet and clean. The hotel's entrance gate is classically grand, and even more beautiful when lit up at night. To find such a tranquil, almost time-travel-like retreat amidst the bustling streets, I truly felt lucky to have chosen the right place.
What's more, the hotel is only about 200 meters from Tonghuimen Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Kuanzhai Alley is within walking distance, and it's not far to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, with ride-sharing services being super convenient and affordable. The courtyard itself is dotted with various cozy seating areas, with lush greenery and vibrant flowers everywhere, creating a fresh, elegant, and very comfortable atmosphere. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were all warm and attentive, and there were even greeters at the entrance to help with luggage and escort us upstairs – every aspect of the service was incredibly thoughtful.
The room offered great value for money. We stayed in a twin room, which was clean and tidy, equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a kettle, a smart toilet, and a hairdryer, with hot water readily available for showering. Each day, they thoughtfully provided complimentary coffee, tea, and bottled water. Having stayed for 7 days, this was by far the most comfortable and satisfying travel experience I've had. If only I had more time, I would have loved to extend my stay for a few more days, as I didn't get a chance to sit in the courtyard, sip tea, and sample the hotel's cuisine. I'll definitely make up for that small regret on my next visit! 🥰🥰

The mountains and rivers travel to search for the colors of brocade, while the fireworks are wide and narrow to search for hidden places. The main building of Chuanxing Yinli Hotel was first built in the middle of the last century and was the accommodation building for foreign experts in the industrial project of Chengdu assisted by the Soviet Union. With the changing international situation, the Soviet Union withdrew its experts from China, and the building immediately became the technical expert dormitory of Southwest Wireless Electronics Factory. It was not until the relocation of Chengdu Radio Third Factory in 2018 that the main building came to an end to the glorious and arduous historical mission that had been carried by Chengdu's industrial development for 60 years.Chengdu Yinli Hotel Management Company took over the renovation of the building in 2021, adhering to the construction concept of "preserving history" and "repairing the old as before". After three years, this red expert building, which witnessed the magnificent development history of Chengdu since the establishment of the People's Republic of China, has been transformed into a cultural hotel with great regional characteristics and historical heritage. Here, with a history of 60 years and the imprint of the hardships of pioneers, it is a concentrated reflection of the "Chengdu spirit" and the best place to savor the taste of time and listen to the sound of fleeting years.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location near Tonghuimen station (metro line 2) which made it very easy to get everywhere we needed to in Chengdu, including the East station and Xipu (to get Dujiangyan).
The room was comfortable, spacious and delightfully decorated. It was also notoriously quiet, and the curtains were dark, which allowed us to sleep a bit longer one day when we were particularly tired.
One of the receptionists helped us get tickets for Sichuan opera and she got us wonderful seats 😃 We are very thankful for this!
Our only criticism is that the food at the bar (tiny frozen pizzas) was overpriced and not good.
We would definitely stay here again in Chengdu!

The hotel room is very clean and tidy, toilet is clean, sound proof also no problem. The staff is very kind and nice to help us upgrade our room to family triple room, and gave us the free milk. We received the warmest blessing and some candies in the room, thanks to the hotel staff. The location is very strategic, which near to MRT and walk around 2 mins, overall is above our expectation and will stay again when we come next time.

This hotel is incredibly close to Kuanzhai Alley, so there's no need to worry about staying out late at night. I booked a standard double room, and when the front desk saw I was traveling with my child, they kindly upgraded us to a family double room. It had a cute cartoon theme and even a tent, which was such a thoughtful touch 🌸. We had originally planned to go out for dinner, but my child wanted to play in the tent, so we ordered takeout. The food was delivered by a robot, which was super cool and exciting! 😍😍
The room was clean and tidy, and the temperature was just right. They even provided four bottles of mineral water (Chengdu's food is indeed spicy; I usually don't drink much water, but I finished one bottle during just one meal. In Beijing, chicken shreds with cold noodles usually have sesame paste and chili oil served separately, but here they're mixed together. Plus, since we were already here, I had to order a signature Maoxuewang, and well... that explains the water consumption!).
The service was also excellent. While we were eating, my child folded up the tent, and after dinner, couldn't figure out how to set it up again. My child proactively called the front desk for help, and the lady on the phone's voice became super gentle when she realized it was a child speaking. 😀 Soon after, an auntie came to help us set up the tent. 🌸
The breakfast wasn't amazing, but it offered incredible value for money. It was far superior to the triple-digit breakfasts you often find at other hotels. After eating, we even took a stroll around the mini-gym next door.
Facilities: Not only does this hotel offer free gym access, but it also seems to offer free dry cleaning. For this price, it's absolutely fantastic!
The only minor drawback was that the room lighting was a bit dim, but everything else was perfect.

The hotel is not far from Kuanzhai Alley and is within walking distance, though it might be a bit of a trek if you have very young children. It's conveniently located to all the major attractions. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. The room was clean, and the service was good. There's also parking available. The only downside was that there was construction happening next door during our stay, but we were informed beforehand that it was a municipal project.

We spent two nights in Chengdu primarily to visit the Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding and wanted a hotel that was central, walkable, and close to Kuanzhai Alley, parks, and temples. The Hidden House checked all of those boxes and ended up being one of the best stays of our trip.
From check-in, the experience was smooth and welcoming. The staff were kind, spoke English, and immediately helped with our luggage, insisting on bringing it all the way to the room. Service throughout the stay was consistently attentive without feeling overbearing.
The elevator is exterior-facing and very fast, consistently arriving within about 30 seconds. It was reliable the entire time, which is worth noting since that setup could raise concerns at first glance.
We booked a deluxe double with a bathtub, which came with a private patio including a table, chairs, and an awning. This turned out to be a highlight. On our last night it rained, and we were still able to sit outside comfortably.
The room itself is well-designed and comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the bathroom featured a high-end bidet with a heated seat and automatic lid. The shower had strong water pressure, and the included foot bath was a genuinely thoughtful touch, especially after walking over 10 km at the panda base.
Breakfast was another standout. The menu is small, around four options, but that focus clearly pays off in quality. The dining area sits next to a water feature and offers private rooms, making for a calm start to the day. The americano was surprisingly good, and the congee, served with a salted duck egg, was excellent.
There is also a self-service washing machine on the top floor, with detergent and antibacterial liquid provided. After 10 days of travel, being able to wash socks and undergarments, which many hotel laundry services will not handle, was a huge plus.
Finally, the staff, Xiao Xiao, Xiao Tang, and Xiao Ying, really elevated the stay. They made everything feel easy and taken care of.
The location is ideal, less than a 10-minute walk from People’s Park and Kuanzhai Alley. If I return to Chengdu, I would stay here again without hesitation.

A super authentic Chinese-style hotel, full of ancient charm. The classical bed and the view of flowing water outside the window, with flowers and fish in it, created an unforgettable and endlessly fascinating Chinese experience. There were many foreigners at the hotel, probably here to experience a hotel with unique Chinese characteristics. A special shout-out to the restaurant manager – the young lady was warm, hospitable, and attentive, with a bright and cheerful personality. She left a deep impression.

Outstanding hotel. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they even gave us a honeymoon gift. They didn’t speak English but we communicated through translation apps with no problems. Excellent location on a lovely little street right next to the Culture Park. The hotel is in a courtyard that is set back from the street directly beside the carpark behind the Sichuan Opera ticket booth so was very easy to find. The taxi dropped us off just outside the parking gate. The subway is a couple of minutes walk away and only a couple of stops away from the centre. It was very easy to navigate. The room and the hotel were very clean, the cleaner came in every day. Our room was very specious and had a double outside space for the bath and a seating area which were divided by a privacy curtain so that we weren’t overlooked. Breakfast was very varied and plentiful. There were universal plug sockets which was very convenient for using our cables from the U.K. without the need for an adapter.

The room environment was excellent, with a window and very clean. The air conditioning worked quite well too. My only minor complaint is that the duvet was much too thick for the current hot weather, making it a bit difficult to sleep at night. I'd suggest providing lighter duvets. It's right next to Qingyang Palace, and the environmental noise was minimal, with good soundproofing. The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were very attentive and friendly. They even gave me a small gift before I left.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel on Trip.com late at night, just hoping for a place to crash. To my surprise, the front desk attendant was incredibly patient when I arrived. Seeing me with a big suitcase and looking exhausted, she proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor and even thoughtfully prepared hot tea. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning had a great variety and tasted delicious. What touched me most was at check-out; I was rushing for my train, and the front desk had already prepared my invoice and packed a souvenir for me, handling everything calmly and efficiently. This unexpectedly great experience completely wiped away my fatigue from the business trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu!
AAnonymous UserTotally regretting for booking only 1 night in this fabulous accommodation. Quiet neighborhood except the guests next to my room decided to talk about their life stories in the outdoor balcony until wee hours which is really inconsiderate. The receptionists and staffs are really friendly and helpful during my stay making this extremely memorable. One time disposable towels and slippers are my favorite amenities in this accommodation!
GGuest UserFive out of five stars, highly recommend! I specifically chose this hotel for Nicholas Tse's concert in Chengdu, and it truly exceeded my expectations! I was so lucky to stay in the same hotel as my idol – the atmosphere was incredible! A special shout-out to Jasmine, who was attentive and thoughtful throughout my stay, always warm, meticulous, and incredibly caring. Her service was truly heartwarming! Jasmine is not only beautiful and cool, with amazing style and elegant temperament, but also gentle and generous. She took exceptional care of me, providing thoughtful and detailed service, and was always there to help with any request immediately. It was genuinely heartwarming. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, and transportation is super convenient with a subway entrance right outside. It's also very close to the airport, making it incredibly easy to get to and from the concert. The check-in experience was excellent! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my fellow fans and travelers!
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and proactive. As long as guests requested it, they would ensure our room was thoroughly cleaned, and they even offered a small panda gift! The hotel also has a robot service, and the buffet restaurant on the 30th floor offers excellent city views. The hotel's central location near popular attractions makes it extremely convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. There's also a laundry room on the 29th floor, and the auntie there is very friendly and even helps with laundry! A truly fantastic experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel's overall environment design is excellent, with lush gardens and water features surrounding the rooms. A morning stroll is incredibly refreshing, and the ecosystem is thriving. Soaking in the hot springs while listening to birdsong is truly relaxing.
Regarding the facilities, the rooms are clean and hygienic, with good quality bedding and towels. There's a wide selection of pillows, and the hot springs are radon-rich, leaving your skin feeling smooth – I heard it's great for your skin. There's also a fairly large play pool in the hot springs area that kept the kids entertained for ages, so much so that we didn't have time for any other activities. The breakfast quality is also very good.
As for the service, a butler contacted me even before my arrival to ask about any special requests. The hotel's service is very flexible; they try their best to accommodate guests' needs and enhance their experience, as long as it doesn't disrupt hotel operations. Since fewer people were using the hot springs due to the hot weather, they upgraded my room and extended my check-out time, allowing me to enjoy a very comfortable soak.
GGuest UserMy experience at Yinqi Tang Hotel was fantastic! The hotel’s ambiance is elegant and peaceful, the rooms are clean, tidy, well-equipped, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it’s very reassuring to stay here. A special thank you to Xiao Liu, the staff member who was warm, attentive, and patient throughout, always ready to answer questions and respond to needs promptly. The overall value is high; it’s peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle, and convenient to get around. I would definitely choose this place again when I come to Chengdu next time and highly recommend it! 😄

Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably arranged. All the facilities were modern and well maintained, and the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, and the public areas are kept in great condition as well. Whether it’s cleanliness, service, location, or overall convenience, everything exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t find any flaws during my stay. GGuest UserExcellent stay, very comfortable and quiet. The service was great – I brought some local Chengdu snacks and didn't have a bag, but the staff kindly helped me find one.
