I always stay here when I visit Tianjin from abroad, and the service is as attentive as ever. I booked a twin room, but I'm grateful to Lü Nan and Liu Fanshuo for changing it to a king-size bed. They even gave me a box of fruit on a hot summer day—such a thoughtful gesture. The guy at the front desk, a graduate of Tianjin University's Water Conservancy Department, helped me with my luggage and even adjusted the water temperature in the bathroom. He was incredibly attentive. This established, star-rated hotel has undeniable service! They maintain their usual high standards, which makes me feel at ease. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent. You are about 5 minutes walk from the Five Great Avenues, and the subway is just outside the building, although on the other side, and the bus stop is just across the street.
The check in is also contactless. All the information you need will be given online(through WeChat for me since I've been using it). Probably the easiest check in you will find in China.
The room was very clean. I've heard the view was great but I only got a view of the opposite building, so I guess it depends on your luck. Nevertheless, all the things you need will be there, including a fridge and washing machine. Not to mention a mall is right below you, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores.
For the cleaning, someone will come around noon and the owner will text you about it beforehand.

Back from Guangzhou, I stayed at the Golden Palace Hotel again for a layover. Maybe it was a weekend and there were more guests, so I couldn't see any room upgrade offers on Ctrip. However, when I mentioned it at the front desk, they upgraded me to a better room on the 17th floor. Thumbs up for your excellent service! My Diamond status was earned by accumulating points from stays at the Golden Palace Hotel! Such a destiny!

I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly… I was pleasantly surprised.
I got a really good price for the room, so I wasn’t expecting too much — but it turned out to be totally worth it. The room was comfortable, clean, and just really nice to stay in for a few days.
The best part was the town view from the 10th floor. I didn’t think it would matter that much, but it actually did. Seeing the city from above — especially at night with all the lights felt really calming.
Location-wise, super convenient. It’s near restaurants and a mall, which helped a lot. I stayed during Chinese New Year, and since many shops were closed, I was worried it’d be hard to find food. But nope — I could still easily grab meals and go places without any stress.
Overall, I’d say it’s a solid choice if you want good value, a nice view, and easy access to everything.

First of all, the staff were very enthusiastic and made us feel the kindness and loveliness of the Tianjin people. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the subway. There is Vientiane Shopping Mall nearby, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The house price is relatively acceptable. The only flaw is that the room feels a bit dated and probably has some history. But we can accept it. Mainly, the people in Tianjin are really nice. Next time I come, I will choose here again. Thanks for the service.

Seriously, avoid this hotel in winter. The AC is terrible, absolutely useless. It's like a decoration – you'll freeze to death. A total disaster, seriously. The AC in the room doesn't heat up at all, it's freezing. Is your central AC really that bad? I walked in, turned on the AC, and it showed 15 degrees Celsius. I cranked the central AC to maximum fan speed, let it run for three hours, and the room only got to 17 degrees. It felt so cold in the room. What's the point of having a heater if it doesn't work? I'm paying to stay here, and this is what I get from the AC in winter? Or is it because I booked a by-the-hour room that they stuck me in the furthest corner, in the room with the worst AC? The hotel's location is good, I've stayed here before and didn't notice any AC issues. But to not even reach a basic comfortable temperature in winter, that's just unacceptable. Even the hallways are cold. It's truly awful, such a terrible experience.

This is my go-to hotel for business trips. It's close to the office, the rooms are quiet and perfect for working, and the internet is super fast. GGuest UserThis Orange Crystal hotel opened last year. Huazhu Group's City Comfort Inn, Orange Crystal, and Manxin brands have been updating rapidly in recent years. For the same price point, the experience is definitely much better than Marriott, Hilton, or IHG's mid-to-high-end lines. They seem to understand domestic consumers better in terms of service and humanized touches. It's quite good! ^_^

GGuest UserIf you have an early flight this is a good hotel to stay at as it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly.
My only problem was they had smoking rooms/floors and even though we had a non-smoking room there were some guests who still smoked in the stairwells. This is not the hotel’s fault but should be mentioned in case one cannot stand the smell of smoke.
There is not much for food around the area but for a 5-10 minute taxi ride you can get to an area with more options including some western options if you desire that type.

Environment: The environment was beyond words. The hotel is right by the Haihe River, and at night, you can see the entire cityscape, which is breathtaking! ❤️👍 The views are unbeatable, and getting around is super convenient.

HhightangThis is an older international hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it does have an indoor swimming pool and a gym. The mattress is a bit soft, and the TV doesn't support screen casting. The shower water pressure was good, and the room itself was spacious. The hotel staff were professional and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, just across the road from Xibeijiao, and right next to Lujiazui Mall and Shuishang City Shopping Mall.

GGuest UserWe had the best experience staying at the Four Seasons in Tianjin. The staff went out of their way to take care of us. Melinde took time to greet guests and remember details about our stay, our check out date, even my love for Jian bing guo zi! She then worked with her team to ensure that those preferences and details were noted across all our interactions with the hotel staff. We appreciated the special care from 小齐, Leo, Elyn and our room attendant Qiu Hua (?). The warm and personable customer experience really sets the Four Seasons apart from the Ritz Carlton.
The decor was modern, tasteful, and the amenities were just right. The rooms were spacious and very clean. This was one of the few hotels we could find in Tianjin which offered a crib for our little one. The one mini gripe I had was that the light switches were a bit confusing but other than that we loved every bit of our stay.
We also enjoyed the breakfast options and especially loved the freshly made wontons and melon and date juice. Staying at the Four Seasons was one of the highlights of our stay in Tianjin and we look forward to being back!

XXiangyuanyiqingCame to Tianjin for the May Day holiday and stayed at the Tangla Hotel Tianjin. My entire stay here was filled with happiness. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the view from the window was beautiful. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always willing to help. You could truly feel their dedication to service. As the holiday comes to an end, I'm sad to leave, and I hope to stay here again next time I visit Tianjin!
