"I used to be stuck on my phone every night when I stayed at hotels, but this time at Shangshe, the experience was elevated! The public area's audio-visual room has a huge screen and fantastic sound. Plus, the butler organized movie nights, and the dark, industrial-themed environment was incredibly immersive. I even swapped a Tianjin Eye fridge magnet for a vintage license plate at the magnet exchange – those little touches really appeal to collectors like me! The room itself maintained the signature rugged industrial style, but the soft bedding was a delightful contrast. It’s just a few minutes' walk from Tianjin Station, so transport is no problem at all. For less than 100 per person, to get this kind of atmosphere, it's definitely great value for money."

"This was my second stay at this hotel, and the experience was still excellent. The front desk kindly offered a complimentary room upgrade. The location is super convenient for getting around, and it's easy to access nearby attractions. The room had an expansive view and great natural light. The overall environment was clean and comfortable, making for a fantastic stay. I'd definitely consider coming back again."

"The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. The subway station is right next door, and the train and bus stations are within walking distance, making it very convenient for getting around. The Haihe River is just around the corner, and the night views are beautiful."

"This is an old-fashioned state-run guesthouse. The facilities are outdated, but still functional. All the spots that are supposed to leak only do so intermittently, but if they leaked freely, a strong foul odor would rise up. This is a contradictory problem, and it hasn't been resolved well. The breakfast buffet is decent and reflects Tianjin's local characteristics. The building, originally situated by the river, is now being obscured by a nearly completed new building next door, significantly impacting the view."

"We always stay at Atour hotels when we travel, and our experience at the Atour Hotel Tianjin Station Jinwan Square in Tianjin this time was even better. The front desk staff, in particular, were incredibly patient, enthusiastic, and provided excellent service. The weather was very hot, and the hotel staff allowed the four of us, all around 70 years old, to check in early. When we were leaving, the front desk staff even gave us some Tianjin specialty mahua (fried dough twists) to take with us abroad, which deeply touched us. The hotel's facilities are great, and it's clean and tidy. The location is perfect, right in the city center of Tianjin and very close to Tianjin High-Speed Railway Station – you can just walk there. The hotel breakfast is delicious and plentiful. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Tianjin! ❤️"

"We stayed at Orange Crystal Hotel Tianjin Jinwan Square on August 2026 as a family of three adults and two children. Most importantly, our non-smoking room was genuinely clean and had no cigarette smell for our non-smoking family with young children. The hotel has good access controls and takes guest security seriously. Deliveries are conveniently brought up by a robot or hotel staff. The location is very central, with many shops nearby. ******* also offers plenty of food and delivery choices nearby, and our orders usually arrived reasonably quickly. Our room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The shower had good water pressure. The in-house laundry room, equipped with commercial washers and dryers, was especially useful for our family. The front-desk staff and housekeeping team were consistently courteous, helpful and service-oriented. Overall, this is a well-organized, well-staffed and professionally managed hotel. We had a very comfortable stay and would gladly return."

"The room was clean and tidy, though the family room felt a bit small. However, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They even offered complimentary coffee every day, which was a nice touch. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right next to tourist attractions and a pedestrian street. There are also many delicious restaurants nearby, all within walking distance."

"Great location, very close to the subway station and plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional, and they even gave me some wonderful recommendations for delicious food and fun places to visit in Tianjin. It really made me feel welcome on my first visit."

"This hotel is really conveniently located. The pedestrian street and a mall are just 50 meters away, and the subway station is about 300 meters from the entrance. Taxis are also quite cheap, usually around ten-something yuan for a ride. The staff are pretty enthusiastic and offered some great food recommendations. We booked a business room, which was quite spacious, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was well-done. The only thing that needs improvement is the hairdryer – it's ancient! Replacing that old-fashioned hairdryer would make everything perfect. Food recommendations: Jinbao Tianjin Cuisine (the Italian Style Street branch, definitely don't go to other branches as their menu is incomplete, missing about two-thirds of the dishes!). The Xibeijiao morning market is also decent. As for Goubuli baozi, honestly, they're not good at all 😊"

"While the hotel was clean enough, and the staff were friendly and helpful the hotel itself is quite dated and showing its age. We also suffered from noise all night, due to construction across the road and even with the windows closed you could hear everything. We ended up ordering some earplugs on delivery just so we could try to get some sleep. Location is close to line 3 metro, so if you arrive at the main station, you can transfer (1 stop) easily for only 2 rmb per person. We stored our bag free of charge while we spend the final day exploring, and this was appreciated."
