My teenage daughter and I stayed at this hotel in a double room for 5 nights. We were impressed with the comfort of the beds, the breakfast and the service (although you will need to use a translation app if you do not speak Chinese). The breakfast was excellent in my opinion (wide variety of delicious Chinese dishes, salads, soup noodles, fried eggs, friend noodles and rice), but there was also toast and jam. While they did not have any knives to spread the butter and jam, we were able to purchase one across the road at a small but decently stocked supermarket. The hotel is located within walking distance of a unique mall (The Hill), many restaurants, and a very professional place (Oudi) for foot and body massage. Although don't expect anything to be open for dinner on Chinese New Year's eve. There was a snowy view out the window, and we were glad to be able to open the window sometimes as well as the rooms were well heated. While the hotel is right opposite a bus stop, it was far from a metro stop, so expect to take taxis everywhere. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Changchun.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Changchun's famous Zheyoushan shopping mall. It's also just a few minutes' walk from the Changchun Film Studio and the popular tram photo spot. The front desk service was great; they were quick to resolve issues and even upgraded our room.

This Atour Hotel boasts a fantastic location and incredible views. The room was incredibly spacious, and the scenery outside the window was absolutely beautiful. The exterior glass walls were impeccably clean, offering crystal-clear views, and I even got to watch the sunrise right from my bed. The breakfast spread was incredibly generous, a delightful fusion of both Chinese and Western dishes – you'll definitely leave feeling completely satisfied! The hotel is conveniently located near 'Zhe You Shan', the former Changchun Film Studio, Tram Line 54, and Nanhu Park. Finally, I must commend the hotel's service; the staff were always smiling and communication was seamless – truly fantastic!

Absolutely love this State Guesthouse! It boasts a sprawling garden that feels like a forest, and they thoughtfully provide complimentary shuttle carts for exploring the extensive grounds. The rooms are spacious, neat, and impeccably clean. The service is excellent. A special shout-out to the Lobby Manager and front desk staff on duty on September 7th; their attentive and professional service made me feel completely at home. This hotel truly embodies the warm hospitality of Northeast China! The service was incredibly enthusiastic and always came with a smile. We especially loved the complimentary wellness tea in the lobby; it was so comforting to have a warm cup after being out in the snowy weather, and they were happy to refill it for us when we asked for more.
The hotel allows food deliveries, and a robot brings them directly to your room, which is an absolute godsend! It's so warm inside the room that having to bundle up, go down to the first floor to pick up an order, and then peel off all those layers again would have been a real hassle. So, a huge thank you for the robot service!
We accidentally stained the sheets and duvet cover twice, and the service was prompt and efficient in replacing them each time.
The location is fantastic, right in the city center with a bus stop directly outside the hotel, making it easy to get anywhere. Given how cold it was, we mostly took taxis, and the hotel's street-side location made pickups and drop-offs very convenient.

I suggest customers communicate with the hotel in advance before booking. Although Hanting hotels are generally clean and hygienic, this particular Hanting hotel's practices are quite unpleasant. The so-called coffee bar at the front desk is just for show; it's not free. A paper cup costs over ten yuan, which is stingy. 👏👏👏 Huazhu Club members' free coffee benefits cannot be used properly because it was booked through Ctrip, not the official website, so it doesn't work. 👏👏👏 Remember, the front desk won't allow late check-out until 2 PM. When I first contacted them, they shamelessly told me that late check-out would cost extra! ❗❗❗ Even after I offered my Platinum Club members' free late check-out... After checking out late at 2 PM, they still told me I couldn't use the service. They only reluctantly extended it to 1 PM after seeing my dissatisfaction...👏👏👏 The manager was a little nicer; he called me later to say I could extend it, but you can judge the overall service as such. I've never seen such a chaotic Hanting hotel. One minute they say my benefits aren't working, the next they say they can't use something and I have to pay. Because I didn't book through Huazhu's official website, we Ctrip users are being discriminated against. Even though the environment and cleanliness are excellent, I can't give it a good review at all.

It's a relatively new hotel, and I chose it because it's a Marriott brand. However, since it's newly renovated and has only been open for a little over a month, the room had a strong odor. I slept with the window open at night, even though it was only 3-4 degrees Celsius in Northeast China. The smell was still quite strong with the window closed; maybe I'm just sensitive! You can experience it for yourself! I complained to the front desk multiple times, but they didn't take any action. They should learn from other hotels and provide some charcoal packets or air purifiers. Secondly, the breakfast selection was too limited, and the taste wasn't very good. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the breakfast was noticeably inferior. As for service, you have to be lucky. Some staff members are quite enthusiastic and attentive, but I have reservations about some of them; their service was extremely rude. The environment, facilities, and location are acceptable! This is a very fair review!

I had a very satisfying stay at the Changchun Hanting Hotel Hongqi Street Wanda Branch! It's located right in the heart of the commercial district, within walking distance of 'There is a Mountain' (Zheyoushan) and Wanda Plaza, and public transport and the subway are easily accessible. The front desk staff were very warm and helpful, even calling the room twice to check if I needed anything – very thoughtful and attentive. It's an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel lobby is quite clean, consistent with the Hampton by Hilton style. The room is well-equipped with facilities, including a mini-fridge. The breakfast offers a good variety, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties. The restaurant is quite spacious; it didn't feel crowded when we went for breakfast at 7:30 AM.
We had a small incident during our stay:
We checked in a little after 2:30 PM and went out to explore without going into the room first. When we returned around 9 PM, we found the room to be quite spacious. However, it didn't feel warm when we first entered, and actually got colder the longer we stayed. I turned on the AC for heat and saw the room temperature was 14 degrees Celsius, but the air blowing out didn't feel warm. Then I noticed the curtains kept moving, and realized someone had kindly opened the window for ventilation and left it open until evening. The front desk was quick to resolve the issue. They first sent a space heater, but it didn't really warm up the room. I wasn't satisfied, so I checked the AC again; it only went up 2 degrees in half an hour, so the heating was very slow. Eventually, the front desk moved us to a different room. Although it wasn't as large as the first one, being warm was the most important thing.

The room facilities are complete, the supplies are clean and tidy, the mattress and pillows give a big praise, as always comfortable
More praiseworthy is that the mobile phone and ID card fell in the room when checking out. Banyan Tree immediately contacted us and gave a big praise 👍 to one.

KKakaxiThis hotel was a pleasant surprise! It really lives up to five-star standards. The lobby is huge, and the decor is incredibly high-spec. They even upgraded us to a family room for free, which felt like it was over 40 square meters. The cleanliness is on par with a five-star hotel, and it has a large bay window that lets in a lot of comfortable natural light. The bathroom is also very spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. For the price, this is genuinely one of the most value-for-money hotels I've ever stayed in. Plus, the subway station is right outside, and it's within walking distance of the zoo where you can see the snow monkeys. All in all, it was fantastic!

All the staff were very helpful especially our receptionist 小果，she arranged us free transport to airport and late checkout, also offered free use for the mini bar in fridge although we didn't use it but we are very appreciated her her offer. I would also like to mention the duty manager and her team was very helpful too , her and her colleagues helped us to take our laugages to the hotel mini bus, the journey to the airport was fast and smooth and the driver was very polite. There's so much good things I want to mention about including their cleaning team, including the cleaning supervisor and their team member孫娟，they were very attentive, they seen my glasses was on the table and she left me some cleaning wipes for my glasses. Their breakfast was so delicious and so many options too , including my favourite dim sum, the server 刘奎志was very friendly he can communicate with us in English too. The hotel itself is very large and have a fantastic gym and spa , there's also music restaurant and Japanese restaurant too. We will definitely come back to stay in this hotel if we visit Changchun again and definitely recommend this outstanding hotel to everyone!

The lobby and rooms are stylishly decorated with a great atmosphere. The bedding was clean and soft, providing a wonderful sleep experience. The only minor drawback was that the soundproofing was just average. In general, it offers excellent value for money and I recommend it to anyone traveling for business or leisure.

- Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep
- To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets
Overall (Summary)
- Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time.
