Hotels near Beibin Park Beach, Hualien

"The room with a balcony and ocean view was absolutely stunning. I regret not arriving earlier to relax more. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Hualien's night market and the beach, making sightseeing easy. Bicycles are also available for rent. Breakfast consists of sandwiches and drinks, which were delicious. Although we checked in at the last minute, the staff were very helpful and kept us informed throughout the process. (I feel really bad for the staff...) For access, you can take a bus or taxi from the station, but depending on the route, buses can be unreliable, so a taxi is recommended. We arrived from another tourist spot, and the bus didn't come, and we couldn't get on the minibus, which was incredibly stressful! In Taiwan, you can call a taxi from a convenience store...how convenient! Definitely try it. Anyway, the rooms are so stylish, I highly recommend everyone visit!! This was the best hotel of our trip to Taiwan :) I want to go again..."

"Breathtaking view from B&B! There's shuttle services from Hualien station to the B&B which is convenient for first timer in Hualien! Staff there were friendly and patient in explaining things to note and also they provide free rental of bicycles but do obey to their traffic regulations when riding! Will definitely be back for it next time❤️"

"The room was beautiful, facing the sea, and the terrace was very comfortable. The room facilities were new and stylish, with thoughtful details; the shampoo and hairdryer were high-end. The breakfast was delicious, the tableware was beautiful, and there was even an adorable dog to keep us company. The host was incredibly kind; since there's no Uber in Hualien, the host helped us book a taxi, and even gave us some local Hualien snacks as a parting gift. It was a very heartwarming experience, and I hope to come back again."

"Xpark combines lighting, projections, and marine life displays, creating a truly immersive atmosphere. The jellyfish zone, in particular, is incredibly dreamy and offers fantastic photo opportunities. The flow within the aquarium is smooth, making it perfect for couples, friends, or families to visit together. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends, with popular areas requiring some queuing. Overall, it's an aquarium that offers both entertainment and a sense of calm, definitely worth a visit."

"Well strategic location Hotel. The room is bright. But the room housekeeping is very poor. Eventhough i requested to clean the room, the auntie did not clean it. She just tidy up the bed very fast and change new towel. Never vacuum/mop the floor, dust and hair on the floor very obviously. So don’t expect she vacuum the bed if u request to change the bed sheet. Got flea/ bed bugs. I thought my eczema flare up. But once both my parents also experienced the same. And I noticed the bed sheet got a few spots a little dot. Then yeah it’s bed bugs. I hope the housekeeping auntie can make it better."

"The breakfast buffet was loaded with choices. I stayed there long enough to finally decide on my favorite breakfast, I thought. It wasn't too long before I changed things up again was never disappointed. Yes, the service and rooms were great too! Yes, this is my go to place when I'm in town again."

"This is a great place to stay if you're exploring Hualien City! It's just a 2-minute walk to Beibin Park, so you can go see the ocean whenever you like. From the room, you can enjoy beautiful mountain views of Hualien. The lobby offers a variety of complimentary snacks, instant noodles, fruit, coffee, and tea. There's even a free massage chair in the attic to relax in. The breakfast is also delicious, and if you're in a hurry, they can pack your main course to go. We stayed in a quad room (one double bed, one bunk bed with two single beds), which was perfect as my friend had a two-year-old and my other friend and I both prefer our own beds. Having an elevator was a huge plus, making it easy to handle luggage or travel with a child, although there are a few steps due to the elevated design. The floors were impeccably clean; I forgot my indoor slippers but walking barefoot was very comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the lobby air conditioning isn't always on, so it can get a bit stuffy and warm in the evenings. Other than that, I absolutely loved the ambiance, location, and the incredibly friendly and responsive staff."

"Stayed at this hotel recently. The place is generally clean and the location is convenient. However, there are a couple of concerns. The metal fixtures around the property were noticeably rusty, which made the overall maintenance feel lacking. In addition, there’s no key card access required for lifts to individual floors, which raises some security concerns. Overall, an average stay, but both maintenance and security could be improved."

"The room was very clean, spacious, and bright, with a beautiful view of the clear blue sea right from the bed. The door had a smart password lock, which made us feel very secure. The owner was also very welcoming and helped us call a taxi. Just outside, you'll find the lively Dongdamen Night Market. Next time, I'll definitely stay for a few more nights to enjoy the stunning scenery!"

"Had a wonderful time at Yu Zhi Wen Travel in Hualien. First off, the hotel's location is pretty good. There are several bus routes nearby that go to Hualien Station, Dongdamen Night Market, Qixingtan, Xincheng, and other transportation hubs and attractions. The hotel is also close to convenience stores, supermarkets, and a wide variety of local eateries, so you can even grab a tasty late-night snack. The hotel itself is very well-designed, with new and complete facilities. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. I especially loved the Japanese-style furo bathtub, and the bed was very comfortable. There's also a balcony for ventilation. Furthermore, the staff was warm, attentive, and professional. On the first day, I misjudged my train time and arrived late. The lovely lady who checked me in waited an hour for me, which I felt terrible about. You can also grab bottled water and snacks like chips from the front desk. If you forget essentials like a toothbrush or comb, you can pick them up there too. If I had to nitpick, I wish the showerhead holder could be adjusted. It seems like many hotels in Taiwan have this issue? If you hang the showerhead on the wall, the water sprays directly at your face, so you have to hold it to wash your body, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, the soundproofing could be better. On my second night, some inconsiderate guests next door were talking loudly past 1 AM, which affected my sleep. All in all, I was very satisfied with the hospitality at Yu Zhi Wen Travel. It offers excellent value for money and is my favorite hotel/guesthouse among all the places I've stayed in Taiwan. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hualien."
