B&B HOTEL Geneva Airport

9.1/10
Great

The hotel is quite new, and the air conditioning in the room works great. The breakfast is decent, offering standard items like bread, eggs, coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and sausages. For Switzerland, the room rate is pretty good value for money. You can even watch CCTV on the TV. In the summer, there are a lot of flying insects, and I found a small bug in my room on the first night. The front desk immediately moved me to another room. If you turn right after leaving the hotel, there's a supermarket and a shopping mall about a 3-minute walk away. Trams 14 and 18 nearby can take you to the city center. The hotel also sends an email explaining how to get a transportation card. There's a 24-hour self-service tea and coffee station in the ground floor restaurant.

Hotel Suisse

I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips. Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva. Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station. I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.

Hotel Sagitta

Here’s a longer, more detailed version with warm and genuine vibes: ⸻ We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Sagitta and I honestly feel it deserves more recognition for the value it offers. First of all, the location is unbeatable. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the famous waterfalls and the Old Town, which made everything so convenient. We could stroll out in the morning, explore all the beautiful spots, take photos, grab meals, and come back to rest without needing to drive. Being able to park the car and just walk everywhere was such a big plus. Yes, the hotel has a slightly older, classic style — but everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What really surprised me (in the best way!) was that our room came with a kitchenette. I did not expect that at all. Having a small kitchen setup made such a difference — we could prepare simple meals, make coffee, and feel a bit more “at home” instead of just staying in a typical hotel room. There was also a bathtub, which was another pleasant surprise. After a long day of walking around and sightseeing, being able to relax in a hot bath was perfect. Not many budget-friendly hotels provide that! For the price we paid, this is honestly one of the best deals in such a prime location. It’s affordable, practical, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay — good space, useful amenities, parking convenience, and walking distance to all the attractions. If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay with excellent location and great value for money, this hotel is definitely worth considering. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lake Geneva Hotel

I was drawn to this lakeside hotel and stayed here for three days, but I definitely won't be coming back. Here's why: 1. **Lake View:** While the hotel is near the lake, many private residences fence off the shoreline. You have to walk quite a distance to actually get close to the water, otherwise, you're just looking at walls or seeing the lake from a high vantage point. 2. **Breakfast:** It was awful! Awful! Awful! Seriously, don't bother buying it! Especially when they offer a 'discount' at check-in – absolutely do NOT buy it! It's not worth it and you can't get a refund! They make you sign a paper, and it's a very strict policy. Do not buy it, seriously. There's a big supermarket downstairs where you can easily grab some fruit, yogurt, and bread, which is far more than enough. 3. **Service Attitude:** Apart from a decent check-in on the first day, the service was terrible! And get this – when I tried to cancel my breakfast, they automatically checked me out! The next day, someone just opened my room door without knocking! I spoke up from inside, which startled them, and a few minutes later they claimed they were just cleaning. But I hadn't checked out, and I had a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door! I strongly suspect they were trying to steal something and then colluded with the hotel to pretend it was a cleaning service. How else could they have 'checked me out' by default when I hadn't returned my room card or gotten my deposit back? There was no official checkout process! And they were completely unreasonable about it! They actually believed that canceling breakfast meant I was checking out! What kind of logic is that?! And they were unwilling to offer any compensation! Even with Trip.com customer service intervening, they remained rigid, sticking to their 'unreasonable' rules. If you have other options, absolutely do not stay here! 4. **Regarding the transport card:** You have to actively ask for it; if you don't, you won't get one. Unlike other hotels I've stayed at, they don't proactively email you or provide it in advance. Don't come! Don't come! Don't come! (That's three times, emphasizing its importance). It's not worth it. Don't come here; it will make you unhappy and severely impact your travel experience.

The airport shuttle bus worked well and made getting to and from the airport very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, the hotel is more luxurious than necessary for a short overnight stay, but if there are no simpler or more affordable options available

Excellent! Especially the service – it's top-notch. The location is super convenient, really close to the train station, just a few minutes' walk. It's also near the main shopping street and close to the lake, all within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious! Great value for money! The hours are also very reasonable. The hotel staff's service attitude is superb! Highly recommend! We'll be back to stay on July 19th!

Location: 10-15m away from Munich Central Station, Königsplatz, Glyptothek, Pinakothek by foot. A bit further away from Munich Residence, Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, Englischer Garten but has public transport nearby. Room: Clean, size quite comfortable. Although the hallway was dusty and smelled a bit due to renovation work in the room opposite— merely screened off by plastic that kept coming loose. We could also hear tram from outside but was not too bothersome. Breakfast: A deception. Scramble eggs and pastries were so-so, coffee was also not good... We regretted choosing a room with breakfast deal. Not very varied, especially if staying for several nights. Bar: Open 24/7 but had no indication anywhere that cocktails or small bites were no longer available after a certain time. Staff: Staff were friendly Hotel & Service: Standard layout like other Ruby: Galley on each floor with tea, coffee available & ironing board Felt that service was not up to par with some other Ruby.

The hotel located near United Nations, public transportation is free by traveling in GENEVA, the hotel staff will help to register when you check in. The room was clean, but the furniture was a bit old as expected. The breakfast was offered by semi buffet, a variety of food selections, quality of food was nice.

Fab location only a few mins walk from the train station, which was perfect for getting to the airport. Also really walkable to the city centre attractions. Capsule was clean and comfortable, I loved all the storage space provided and the fold out table, came with a fan too which was needed for the heat! Bathroom was sufficient and clean. The customer service was prompt and efficient, I had a couple of issues that I had to message them about and always got a quick reply. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
