"O hotel tem uma estrutura fantástica, nostálgica, que remete à bonança do período de sua inauguração, em 1929. No entanto o atendimento tem deixado a desejar, vê-se que falta treinamento aos funcionários para a categoria do hotel. Além disso falta zelo na manutenção das instalações. Em minha última hospedagem, por exemplo, não tive televisão disponível porque o cabo coaxial da tv encontrava-se partido, e como só percebi isso no período noturno de um domingo não seria possível o reparo. A fechadura do banheiro estava estragada, e substituíram-na por um trinco completamente deslocado da estrutura e decoração antiga do quarto. Os edredons disponíveis no quarto eram diferentes um do outro e de baixa qualidade, o que demonstra que a administração do Hotel está interessada em economizar ao extremo. Apesar disso a hospedagem é sempre prazerosa em um prédio histórico tombado que nos remete à riqueza da cidade no auge do ciclo cafeeiro no século passado. O café da manhã é inigualável!"
