Overall very pleasant experience. The room was extremely clean and spacious. Basics like hand wash, shower gel were provided. Location was excellent being beside the bus and train station - meaning easy access to Vienna City centre as well as routes to other countries. Only downside was the slight noise from outside of either bins banging and clashing and the odd train passing by, but expected when booking. Even without air con the room remained at a regulated temperature during our stay in March. The only major draw back is the check in check out service, it needs to be made slightly clearer as to how the process works. Upon arrival I was not aware I had to download the Hotelbird app to check in, so on a Saturday and Sunday when no one is available at the desk we had to wait for someone already staying in the hotel to let us in. From there it’s fairly easy you check in on the iPads and collect your room key. Finally, the smartments complex doesn’t allow you to leave your luggage with them, that’s the only draw back to the amenities provided. Now knowing how the check in service works I would definitely stay here again.
You won't find any unnecessary frills with us. Who needs a dusty room phone when you can text our front office via Facebook Messenger?! Not you? Then you've come to the right place! We got rid of the things you don’t need and concentrate on the things that really matter!

This hotel is very close to Vienna's main train station. If you exit from the eastern entrance of the station, it's about a 100-meter walk. We planned to stay near the main station because we were taking a train to the airport shortly after, so we didn't really need to buy public transport tickets. The hotel environment is very clean, and the lobby on the ground floor is spacious. Check-in starts at 3 PM, and we arrived just before 3 PM and they checked us in. You can check in using the self-service machine or by handing your passport to the front desk staff for manual check-in. I chose manual check-in, as it was hassle-free. In Austria, there's a city tax for accommodation. Since the price we booked through Ctrip already included the city tax, we didn't have to pay anything extra upon check-in. Further inside is the breakfast area. I didn't want a Western-style breakfast, so I didn't pay extra for it (breakfast is 18 Euros per person, and children are a bit cheaper at 8.9 Euros). The room was very clean. We booked a 'design room,' and it was very spacious. We could open both our suitcases on the floor and still have plenty of room. Regarding the price, we paid 1665 RMB for two nights, which is about 200 Euros. For a hotel near the train station, this is quite good value for money. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the heating was sufficient, so no worries there. The only thing is about hot water: there's no kettle in the room. There's a self-service hot water dispenser in the lobby where you check in. I basically filled both my water cups every time I went, and you can adjust the temperature yourself (first long-press to unlock, then set the temperature and volume, and finally press start). During my stay, I didn't see many people using it. Maybe everyone bought bottled water. As it was winter, I needed warm water, so I went to get water every morning and evening, except when I was out. If the water ran out, you could tell the staff, and they would refill it – it's tap water that's instantly heated by the machine. We were two adults and one child (10 years old). When booking on Ctrip, you have to enter the child's age, so this hotel was recommended as suitable for families. However, younger children don't need to register their passports. The bed was large enough for us. The room was exactly as shown in the online pictures, so I won't upload any. I did upload a picture of the instructions for the water dispenser. Oh, and after check-in, Ctrip will send you an email with an English check-in voucher, so even if you have communication issues, you can just show the voucher to the staff.

Hotel Schani Wien might seem like a small boutique hotel but its staff are genuinely helpful and very cheerful. The moment you stepped into the hotel, you are very warmly welcomed. The rooms are big with a map of the general location of all the attractions on your hotel wall. The room design is cute, quirky, and unique. The room is big enough for a solo traveller, and should feed a couple just nicely. The tram service is just right outside, which makes travelling very simple. The major train station is just a few minutes walk away which has food services that opens till 11 pm in the evening.

I had a very pleasant stay at Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent—just a 1-minute walk from Vienna Central Train Station, which made getting around extremely convenient. The hotel itself is nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout my stay. Overall, a great choice for both comfort and accessibility.

3 days stay in Daniel, it’s my first time for this hotel. The room is nice, stylish on design. Toilet from the door seperate from the shower next to window side, not sure if many likes that. Bed looks good but not soft, pillows are made of feathers so a little bit picking, comforter is not intact. No mini bar option, no disposable slipper. The shower is great, good flow of water. I didn’t see any attendant check my room for 3 days which is sad.
Breakfast the same set up for 3 days, in restaurant staffs are not focussed, for 3x breakfast, 2x dinner, only the lady with curly hair is on point. Plants and ceiling are dusty. Bread is all day available.
Reception are friendly. Popcorn all day available for free. The entire hotel has not much facilities, I just thought above floors or roof top would be a good spot on the boat.

Location: Right next to Vienna's main train station, just a 2-minute walk away. There's a Spar supermarket in the station open until 11 PM. Tram, bus, and subway stops are nearby, as well as a bus station for trips to cities like Budapest and Bratislava, making travel very convenient. The closest local attraction is the Belvedere Palace, a 15-minute walk. Other attractions are a bit further, though still walkable.
Facilities: The room was spacious, but there's a big drawback – no door for the bathroom?! Even with the air conditioning on the hottest and strongest setting, it was still a bit chilly. It was fine for me alone, but it would be pretty awkward for two or more people. This design is very impractical. There's also no kettle, only a coffee machine. You can ask the front desk for an empty bottle to get unlimited mineral water from the dispenser at the main entrance on the ground floor. The TV isn't smart; you can't cast to it, and it's not an internet TV. The room itself was quite clean.
Service: Luggage storage is available, and the front desk staff were nice and friendly.
Overall: If you're not solely visiting local Vienna attractions, and the price is around 500-600 yuan, you might consider it. Otherwise, I'd recommend staying closer to the city center attractions.

Right across from the train station, this hotel is super convenient for train and public transport. If you know Ibis, you know it's clean and practical. The breakfast is quite extensive for a budget hotel; they have a self-service waffle maker which is delicious! The vegetable selection is the standard three options you find in German-speaking countries, and of course, plenty of dairy products and cheese. Oh, and this was the only place on my trip that offered Japanese miso soup and rice for breakfast, haha! Even though I don't have a 'Chinese stomach,' I couldn't resist trying half a bowl—it was just what I needed, nice and warm. I saw Japanese and Korean tourists each having a big bowl, haha.

The hotel is easy to get to from the airport and city centre via public transport. Nothing too fancy in this neighbourhood but it felt safe. There's a supermarket next door for your daily supply. The breakfast buffet was good. The room was clean and spacious with all necessary amenities. Overall good value for a few days city break.

The location and cleanliness were excellent. Being very close to the train station makes it incredibly convenient if you're traveling by rail. However, there was no electric kettle, which meant I couldn't prepare a hot drink before heading out in the morning. So, I had to drink tap water. While it's reportedly safe, I still found it a bit unusual. The service attitude of the check-in staff was quite mediocre. For breakfast, there were no hot items, but they offered a good variety of cheeses and bread, making it a very Western-style meal.

This was my second time in Vienna in a month and a half. Knowing how convenient this hotel is and how much I enjoyed their breakfast from my first stay, I looked at almost no other hotel but booked to stay here. Because I didn't get enough of Vienna on the first visit, this time I stayed for the whole week. My room was facing the courtyard, offering beautiful views of the surroundings and no noise from the traffic (my previous room had a city view). Breakfast was as good as before. To my surprise, the Sri Lankan lady recognized me! That was a good feeling, knowing that someone remembered you. My check-in was done by Ayra (if I got her name right). She was lovely; I felt really welcomed by her, not only during check-in but at other times too. When she saw me, she greeted me and asked about my day. Out of the six nights' stay, I didn't get to dine in for breakfast on two mornings as I left early at 6 am to take a trip to Hallstatt and to Bratislava on another day. The staff were kind enough to suggest a takeaway breakfast set for me, which they provided on both days! The only thing I wished could have been better on this trip was how my room was made up while I was away. On two separate occasions, the bed didn't look like it was made up but rather just by folding the blanket and placing the pillows together. The bathroom too didn't feel like it was cleaned but just by replacing the towels. Nonetheless, I still like this hotel because of the comfort, the breakfast, and of course, the location, which is of utmost importance to me when I travel. It's barely a 5-minute walk to some of the most important places - Wien Hbf, Belvedere, U-Bahn line, and many more!

Great
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the Belvedere Palace. Bus route 71 right outside takes you directly to the Parliament building, perfect for starting your sightseeing. There are several supermarkets nearby, including DM, Billa, Spar, and Aldi, which made it super easy to pick up souvenirs before heading home.
Tthe solo traveler 3unbeatable location in terms of airport transit accessibility. there is a train station right across the road, and it connects directly (no stops) to the airport via express train(CAT). also, the major vienna tourist spots are all very near(walking distance) or easy to go because, again, the train station is so close.
the breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and were pretty tasty. the room felt clean enough upon arrival, although i did find a previous guest’s wifi info card under the bed. you can drink from the tap. the water tasted good enough.
AABDUL AZIZ NASIFMelia Vienna Hotel is a symphony of luxury, nestled within the modern and dynamic DC Tower. The hotel stands as a testament to refined elegance, offering guests captivating views of Vienna and allowing them to immerse in a sanctuary of comfort and style.
From the very first moment, the welcoming and diligent staff displayed a high level of professionalism and warmth, setting a hospitable tone that persisted throughout my stay. The check-in was efficient and cordial, indicative of the seamless service that is a hallmark of Melia Vienna.
The accommodation was a masterpiece of comfort and sophisticated design, with plush bedding and cutting-edge amenities, creating an ambiance of tranquility and luxury. The meticulous cleanliness and upkeep of both the room and the communal areas spoke volumes about the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
The gastronomic experience at Melia Vienna was a culinary delight, featuring a plethora of delectable dishes that embody the rich gastronomic heritage of Vienna while integrating flavors from around the world. The presentation was visually appealing, and the ambiance of the dining area was both elegant and relaxing, adding to the enjoyment of every meal.
The hotel’s prime location is a boon, offering easy accessibility to the cultural treasures, business districts, and vibrant life of Vienna. The state-of-the-art fitness center and tranquil spa facilities provided the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the city, ensuring a balanced and rejuvenating stay.
To sum up, Melia Vienna Hotel is a jewel in Vienna’s hospitality scene, combining unparalleled service, luxurious accommodation, gourmet dining, and a superb location to provide a memorable and enriching experience for all guests seeking the charm and elegance of Vienna.
YYukiLily(*´∀`*)The hotel's location is excellent! There's a bridge nearby that leads directly to the city center, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the Black Death Tower, making it very convenient for getting around.
The service and facilities are genuinely great. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the staff were very polite, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The facilities are quite comprehensive; there's a steamer for ironing clothes, and the room has a fridge stocked with still water, sparkling water, and other drinks, which are replenished during room cleaning – a thoughtful touch. Slippers are also provided, and the bathroom amenities are well-stocked.
The room size is just right. There's enough space to open a suitcase and still have room to sit and relax without feeling cramped.
A nice bonus is the JBL alarm clock in the room, which can connect via Bluetooth to play music. It's perfect for listening to music when waking up in the morning or unwinding at night.
JJoeInChinaHarry's Home Wein Millennium Tower was a nice hotel stay for me. The location was good, next to the Danube river and right above a shopping mall. Also, was only a 3 minute walk to the metro train into the city center (or other places in Vienna).
The front desk young woman was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel, and my room were clean and spacious. Several big windows had a nice view out. I did not eat the hotel breakfast due to my personal time schedule, but there is a large grocery store directly below the hotel that is open from 7:40 am until 8 pm that was good. Also, right outside the hotel entrance/exit you can take the skywalk in the mall across to the mall foodcourt with several options.
I felt the hotel was a good value for the money, and much cheaper than staying in the city center of Vienna. I was able to take the metro and tram into that area in about 25 minutes or so. Overall, I was pleased with the staff, the location, my room, etc and I would stay there again if I am back in Vienna.
SsoysamGreat location, right opposite the train station, with a metro station nearby and convenient airport shuttle access. However, the overall establishment is old and run-down, with peeling paint and simple decor. There's no Wi-Fi signal in the room, nor a fridge – just a safe. It's actually worse than a Hanting Hotel. When I asked to switch to a room with Wi-Fi, the front desk refused, so I had to use the internet in the lobby. I'm genuinely surprised this is part of the InterContinental Group.
FFEIBecause I lived in a hotel in Europe for the first time, I was accustomed to the domestic habits and did not bring slippers. As a result, the restaurant did not provide it. Without the converter, the result was not provided by the restaurant, so I bought a difference of 12.9 euros. Ok! If you live in a European hotel, you must bring the necessary items, otherwise you will have a bad point. The distance from the Schönbrunn Palace is not there, but there is no breakfast shop. We had to go to the Golden Arch in one subway station and then to the Schönbrunn Palace in the subway. The hotel is very quiet, the morning is the window, wake us up.
XXinglinccOn a motorcycle trip through Europe, I passed through Vienna and found a hotel that offered great value for money. Since I was traveling solo, I kept things simple. The cleanliness was good, and the service was exceptionally friendly! The front desk staff spoke fluent English and, surprisingly, even quite a bit of Chinese, which made them incredibly welcoming! I wasn't aware the hotel had parking, so my motorcycle unfortunately got a ticket. The front desk was incredibly helpful and enthusiastically guided me on how to deal with it. A huge thank you to them! There's no air conditioning, but they provided a portable air cooler. It was a little noisy, but it definitely kept the room cool!
GGuest UserFirst of all I had a trouble with the self checking and Adam was so nicely helped me. I appreciate his kindness a lot. Secondly we booked the room for 4 person and when we entered to the room it was not so clean an there was not complete covers for the bed and Blankers, pillows so 2 of us was not able to sleep at all. It was nearly in the morning when we arrived so every time when i called them Adam was reachable and he asked us to change the room which was too much fo us so we stayed in the room. It was our choice cause we had early morning meeting so it was ok to prepare and just leave.
The check out process was too quick the cleaning group came 10 minutes before and it was ok for us to leave directly.
Dear Adam, thank you so much for your kindness and for the hotel management I would say to pay attention to your cleaning group.
LLeonardo Sant AnnaWell-located apartment, with several lines within a 5-minute walk. Paid parking nearby using PAYUCA.
The small apartment had a slightly uncomfortable bed, but the bathroom had excellent shower pressure and temperature.
We were slightly inconvenienced upon arrival because the room we had been assigned smelled of cigarette smoke, even though smoking is prohibited. The cleaning staff was going to clean it again, but we asked if we could move. They immediately moved us to a slightly smaller room, but we were better served.
The kitchen in the new room didn't work; one burner wasn't working, and the other was even broken.
But since we had already moved in and only noticed it late at night, we didn't want to ask them again. There was no Wi-Fi.
The staff was very friendly and quick.
