This hotel was even better than expected! I initially stayed for two nights upon arriving in Kunming. After returning from Lijiang, I was so impressed that I was determined to stay again. Despite the price having increased a week later due to peak season, I still booked another two nights without hesitation. Cleanliness is my top priority, and this hotel completely met my expectations in that regard. The hotel also boasts a spacious lounge on the second floor, perfect for chatting, working, or reading. There's a gym, and the breakfast was excellent! I particularly loved the thoughtful design details.

The location is fantastic, directly opening onto the central shopping district. It offers excellent value for money, and the rooms were clean and tidy. The staff provided exceptional service, always accommodating and ready to assist. However, the rooms do not have air conditioning. While Yunnan nights are generally cool, and the hotel kindly provided two fans, those who are sensitive to heat might still find themselves waking up warm. It's something to keep in mind.

We only stayed one night in Kunming, arriving late and leaving early for a day tour—so it was a quick stop. That said, the host was responsive to our questions even at midnight, which i really appreciated. What stood out was the thoughtful room layout. We booked a double bed and a single bed, and since we’re siblings, the way the space was partitioned gave us a good sense of privacy. It made the short stay comfortable. Didn’t get to explore much else, but for a night’s rest, it was a pleasant experience.

The infrastructure is OK, the hygiene is OK, the environment is OK, the room size is slightly small, the front desk service is good and very enthusiastic, and it is relatively quiet at night. The lighting is good during the day, but a little dim at night. It is not suitable for office work, but suitable for rest and entertainment.

This hotel offers excellent service. The front desk staff are patient, conscientious, and responsible. We booked the standard king-size room, which looked small in the pictures, but it was actually quite nice, with a nice environment. The snack street right outside is fantastic, with lots of local specialties. MixC is just over a kilometer away. The room had a slight odor upon entering, but turning on the air conditioning cleared it up. Also, be careful when taking a taxi here; it seems the taxi platform sometimes redirects you to a different location. This hotel also has a location formerly known as the Tuodong Stadium MixC branch, so be sure to check the address when taking a taxi.

Honestly way too happy with the stay, decided to extend our stay for another 2 nights because the staff is really courteous! The room was in perfect condition, basic facilities & amenities are provided. We checked in pretty late since our flight arrived in KMG around 1AM, and didn’t need to inform the reception counter cause it’s available 24/7. Just be sure to get a good roaming sim card with vpn if you want to access Google, Facebook, IG or tiktok. The hotel is fairly easy to find, and there’s plenty of nearby eateries and convenience stores. The nearest shopping malls and not that far but I suggest you to just hail any taxi to save you time. Oh and, the self laundry rooms are a definite plus! No need to find other launderette haha. During our checkout, the staff was so kind to give us some free goodies to bring home too. I highly HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a stay.

Facilities: The equipment is all new and pretty good. Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, no smell, and the toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. Environment: There are many restaurants around, and it is convenient to buy things. Service: The service is thoughtful.

The hotel had a great location, and the reception staff was very kind — she even offered us a room with a window since we originally booked one without. The only downside was that the bathroom was transparent (my fault for not checking carefully, especially since I was traveling with a friend hahaha), and the air conditioning didn’t keep us warm at night, even when set to 30°C.

The last stop of this trip was from Xishuangbanna to Mangshi and finally to Kunming. Since there was only more than half a day left, we chose to stay at the Four Seasons on the Cloud near the Kunming Botanical Garden. It was already 11:30 in the evening. Walking into the hotel really made people feel at home. The waiters in the hotel were very nice girls and boys, enthusiastic and energetic, and the service was considerate and thoughtful. There was a little hiccup in the middle, because the rental car was found to have scratches, and the service staff patiently called the surveillance camera to help analyze and find it. It turned out that the car rental company did not inform them. In short, just like the name of the hotel, which is romantic and warm, staying here brought a perfect ending to our trip. Four Seasons on the Cloud is a very cost-effective hotel. I recommend everyone to stay here when you have time.

The staff were polite and greeted me with a smile when I checked in. I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The rooms are clean and unified with modern interiors. They are spacious, comfortable, and have a relaxing space. The quiet environment is also a plus, even though it is close to the station. I felt that the cost performance was also quite good.
