"Highly recommended! The hotel is clean and hygienic, just like the pictures. The location is also very good, not far from Dian Lake, Cui Lake, and the high-speed rail station. The boss is very nice and let us experience hand-brewed coffee. The most important thing is that they have a very cute Border Collie! "Because of Haiyan Village and Laoyu River, I stayed for two days and went for the mezzanine floor. However, when I was going downstairs the next morning, my slippers slipped on the stairs and I fell. The waiter who was delivering drinking water asked me to check if my arm could move and said that if there was any problem, he would take me to the hospital immediately. I felt that I could basically move, so I went out. When I came back in the evening, I found that the place where I fell was purple, so I asked the hotel if there was any medicated oil. The service desk immediately arranged for the manager on duty to ask about it. After asking about the situation, I ran to buy Yunnan Baiyao and sent it to me. The next morning, I called again to inquire about the situation and told me to carry the medicine with me to spray. Before leaving, Manager Zhu Qiong was very enthusiastic and reminded me again. She was very attentive. After staying for two days, except for this little episode, I felt like I was at home. The lobby was very quiet. More importantly, the room was clean, the staff had a good service attitude, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Among all kinds of unacceptable negative reviews of five-star hotels, I feel that I picked up a loophole. It would be even better if some improvements could be made to the mezzanine floor stairs or slippers."

"I was in a hurry to rest after checking in, so I didn't take any indoor photos. Because it was off-season, the hotel upgraded the room with a courtyard and sent flowers, which was very considerate. The drinks in the ice bar were good and free, and there were seasonal fruits and handmade cookies👍. The lady said she liked the toiletries and daily necessities very much😊The hotel has free midnight snacks and afternoon tea, and the housekeeper will send a message in advance to remind you🌹The hotel landscape is very good, and it is the best choice for girls to take photos and check in🤗There are freshly baked flower cakes for free when you check out. There is an outlet next to the hotel, with many restaurants, including Xuanwei Pig Killing Cuisine. I didn't find it on Dianping.com, I just came across it while wandering around. I recommend it, it has a wok flavor and is unique😍"

"The hotel is about 10km away from the city center. It’s located right across the road from the Dianchi Lake and very close (within walking distance) to major tourist attractions in Kunming. This is a relatively small hotel with an elegant and relaxing ambiance. Rooms are beautifully furnished and very spacious. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of delicious options. The hotel restaurant offers an extensive menu for lunch and dinner and is open nonstop till late hours in the evening. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. In fact, we ate at the hotel restaurant all the time during our three-day visit in Kunming. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place, especially for leisure travelers who want to stay in a quiet area and be close to tourist attractions."

"It was a happy day in Kunming. Check-in was smooth and the environment was very good. There was a billiard table at the front desk so you could play while waiting. Check-in was fast and the reception staff were very enthusiastic and positive. The manager, the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunt were all very satisfied. Any problems were solved in a timely manner. The children also had a great time in the hot springs. "After the trip, I finally have time to write a review of the accommodation. The location of the hotel in the villa area is also very easy to find, and the staff will greet you at the door. I originally booked a room with floor-to-ceiling windows on the first floor, but later I upgraded the room. "I didn't expect this homestay to be so great before I came! The location is super convenient, close to surrounding attractions and food streets, saving a lot of time for travel.
The room is very warmly decorated, clean and tidy without any odor, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and my mother and I had a good sleep. All kinds of facilities are available, the details are even more thoughtful, and there are free special snacks.
The front desk lady is warm and hospitable. The girl in her 20s helped me carry the oversized suitcase, which was super touching! Living here is as comfortable as being at home. I will choose this place next time I come. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe hotel has a heavenly bed. The room was super clean which I appreciated a lot after long travels. The reception staff were sweet and friendly. They helped me to book a taxi from the hotel because their shuttle bus service stops at 2:30PM.
For travellers coming to Kunming from abroad note: bring cash RMB because you will need to pay the taxi, 40RMB two way ride. Taxi gives receipts. There is no public transportation such as bus or metro to the hotel area. Alternatively, you could download WeChat, didi applications. Unfortunately the hotel's wifi is weak and I was not able to download the apps. Otherwise enjoy a nice luxurious room with super comfy bed. Highly recommend the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated on the floor between arrival and departure. Just walk out of customs, a quick ride in an elevator and you are at the check in counter. It was perfect as we arrived late in the night and had an early departure. No time wasted with haggling with taxis or figuring out public transport. Check in was fast, the room was clean and had everything we needed. It was also quiet, no noises from the airport. We slept well. Perfect!

The staff are beyond friendly, kind and helpful. They really go out of their way to help (except for making an effort to contact the WiFi providers).
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could do a lot of my business by having access to printing facilities within the Hotel. The swimming pool is quite nice and the staff member was really friendly, giving me a swimming cap when I didn't have. They brought me towels and water to drink.
The hotel robot is always a great convenience when it comes to deliveries as it brings the delivery to your room.
Breakfast is pretty good just like any top hotel.
I usually repeat my stays here.

GGuest UserA very warm treasure hotel. Our family received souvenirs and welcome tea as soon as we arrived at the hotel, which was very ceremonial. Because there were not many tourists, the hotel seemed particularly secluded. Whether it was the private soup in the courtyard or the Pu'er tea, they were all of very high quality. The children enjoyed feeding the seagulls every day. The food was a little simple during the Spring Festival. A male waiter in the restaurant (forgot his name) was very enthusiastic. The green vegetables were all from the hotel's own vegetable garden, which was very natural. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Yangzonghai Shijiazui Park, and the scenery is invincible. In short, I was very satisfied. Thanks to the housekeeper for his meticulous service. Five-star praise. Recommended to travelers who like to relax and get close to nature.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.

If you are traveling to Kunming and going to Kunming South Railway Station, I recommend it. It is definitely worth the money.

PPsymondDespite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note:
1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival.
2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room.
3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised.
We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.
