JI Hotel Hotels in Kunming

This is my second stay at Ji Hotel. I feel that half the price here is just for the location. Honestly, if you have other options, I'd suggest paying a bit more for a hotel with more character. Both twin rooms face the street, and the soundproofing at night was quite poor. Another odd design choice was a step right outside the guest elevator on the fourth floor, which is a very strange layout. I also don't quite understand Ji Hotel's room categorization or listing logic. For instance, refrigerators aren't standard; only rooms explicitly marked in the description have one. What's worse, the other double room we booked had no windows at all. This crucial detail isn't highlighted in the room title/description; instead, it's discreetly buried in an icon. Then, upon arrival, you're told you need to pay extra if you want to upgrade to a room with a window. Other chains, like Hanting or Atour, are much more transparent. Whether a room has an inner window or no window at all, it's clearly stated upfront, often even displayed prominently. Some even install a 'false window' inside the room to improve the sense of comfort. There's also no need to bother with breakfast at the hotel. You can easily walk to a local chain near Cuihu Lake for their flaky buns (破酥包) and mixed rice noodles (拌饵丝). After all, the location is really the only redeeming quality of this place.

The hotel room is clean and hygienic. Very recommended, the front desk lady sister service is super intimate, also called to remind, do a good job of sun protection with umbrella. It was really raining, and then there were umbrellas to borrow, and travel recommendations. Every time I passed by the front desk, I said hello very warmly. When I checked out, Xiao Li at the front desk also helped to carry the luggage to the parking lot and sent a souvenir. It was really worth recommending, like 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Avoid pits in rooms near the elevator room... I always feel that such a corridor-elevator room should not be designed for all seasons. Do you know the fear of being awakened by the noise of the next suitcase after walking through it? (Picture attached, easy to understand at a glance) Someone checked in with a suitcase at 1 o'clock in the night, and left at 5 o'clock in the morning. I have never been so eager to check out at dawn. I only rested for three trembling hours throughout the whole journey. Today's special forces tour was like a walking zombie.

This hotel is perfect for early morning flights, located directly on the 2nd floor of the terminal building. From the hotel, you can take an elevator straight up to the 3rd floor, which is the departures level. It's incredibly convenient, especially if you have an early flight the next day. The room was exactly as advertised in the pictures – clean and well-maintained. After checking in, you have the option to drop off your luggage for check-in at 9:30 PM, which makes for a much smoother and stress-free boarding process the following morning. The only minor drawback is that the price is a bit on the higher side, but it's completely understandable given the unparalleled convenience of being located right inside the terminal. The service was excellent. Knowing I was traveling with a child and had an early flight, they specifically reminded me about the early wake-up time. They also realized we wouldn't have time for breakfast, so they thoughtfully provided us with cartons of Telunsu milk and flower pastries to take with us. My schedule was tight, so I didn't get a chance to take photos of the hotel, but let me share some beautiful scenery from my trip to Southeast Yunnan! Yunnan truly boasts stunning mountains and waters, and it's definitely a place I'll visit again. I'll certainly choose the Ji Hotel (Airport Terminal) again next time.

This is the second Ji Hotel I've stayed at in Kunming. Its location is excellent, right next to Kunming Railway Station. It was just a 4-minute walk from the exit, even with my luggage, which is incredibly convenient for travelers transferring via high-speed rail. I particularly loved the room layout. The bathroom was cleverly tucked away, and there was ample space for belongings, including a small sofa and an extra stool. The room was also exceptionally clean. Breakfast was the typical Ji Hotel style, featuring delicious Yunnan-style rice noodles. The dining area was also quite spacious. A special mention goes to the front desk service, which was very warm and welcoming. They were ready to answer any questions and truly made me feel at home.

Returning from Dali, I continued my stay at this All Seasons hotel. The direct subway line to the airport makes it incredibly convenient. Upon arrival, the front desk staff immediately offered to help with my luggage. My suitcase was quite heavy, so two of them carried it together, even gently brushing away my attempts to help! They were both incredibly sweet and helpful. My only minor suggestion would be to add a ramp at the hotel entrance. This time, the front desk staff even gave me the same room as my previous stay and provided a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, and I was very pleased. BTW, the hotel's location is fantastic. There are many great eateries on Wujing Road directly across the street, and it's also conveniently located close to Nanqiang Street Market, Henglong Plaza, and Kunming Old Street. Kunming is a wonderful city, and I'll definitely be back!

1. After we checked in, the front desk was very considerate and gave us a guide to nearby places to visit (although we didn't go hahaha but we are still very grateful) 2. When we came back that night, one of the rooms smelled of smoke because the neighboring guest smoked and the central air-conditioning was turned on. After we reported this to the front desk, they immediately helped us change the room! The service attitude is super good! 3. Because it was my family's birthday on New Year's Eve, we ordered a cake in advance and they were very considerate and put it in the freezer on the 8th floor for us. Great review! 👍 4. When we were ready to return from our trip, they also sent us souvenirs (thanks to the front desk lady on duty in the afternoon of the first day of the new year, thank you for your hard work~)

I am very satisfied with the location. It is close to everywhere. There is a market next to it. It is very convenient to buy vegetables and fruits. The food at Xiaoma's Restaurant next to it is also delicious. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the service is very good and friendly. Suitable for traveling with children and the elderly.

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff was friendly and professional, proactively helping with luggage. The room was spacious and bright, and the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was a delicious fusion of Eastern and Western cuisine. The hotel's central location makes it convenient for shopping and dining. From check-in to check-out, every detail was thoughtful, and I even received a heartwarming gift. It's an absolute steal, and I'll definitely stay here again!

I stay here all over the country. When I go to play near Kunming Children's Hospital, or when I take my children to see a doctor, they are my first choice. The two beauties yesterday were particularly nice and even gave me small gifts. I have been here several times a year. It feels like home, as good as ever.
