Super efficient pick-up service- appreciate the speediness as our flight landed in the wee hours of the morning. Great location being close to the airport for us to rest up. There are multiple dedicated check in porches which provides a private check-in service. Room and bedsheets are clean, with the pillows being super comfortable as a plus! Strongly recommended! :)

Hands down the best hotel in the Kunming KMG airport area. You must stay here! I am a huge fan! I live in China and travel through KMG airport often for layovers and have stayed at the Ji Hotel right inside the airport. That hotel is okay (and has the location advantage of being right inside the terminal) but feels very stuffy and many of the rooms have no windows. In many ways that hotel isa broom closet compared tithe DoubleTree 🌳 🌳. The DoubleTree by Hilton blows that Ji Hotel (and most others in the KMG area) out of the water💦! For an extra 10 minute private van ride, the upgrade in conditions is significant and well worthwhile. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast is a true 5 star masterpiece that has LOTS of options for both western and Chinese tourists, including made to order egg station, made to order noodle station, and an incredible fresh salad 🥗 bar with high quality ingredients (very hard to find in China 😜). The service staff is top notch with great English at check in and very helpful all the way through. The hotel is brand new and everything is sparkling clean. The elevator is very fast and modern and the furnishings are all tasteful and elegant! There are so many free extras that make this an incredible value: -Free Private shuttle in brand new Buick 🚐 van -Free hand baked chocolate chip cookie on check in -2 free bowls of local Yunnan noodles delivered to your room for you -Free Puer tea tasting

After comparing several hotels, I chose this one, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The hygiene was impeccable; the entire place was odor-free, and every detail was meticulously handled. The staff were friendly and provided attentive service throughout my stay. The room layout was well-designed, and the facilities were in excellent condition, with stable hot water and internet access. The hotel is peacefully located yet conveniently accessible, offering a tranquil environment. Overall, the quality is top-notch and the price is very reasonable. It's perfect for both short trips and longer stays, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Highly recommend! The price is great, and it's super close to the airport. The hotel even offers a shuttle service to the airport, getting you there in about ten minutes, which is incredibly convenient for early flights or if you just need a quick rest. You can get plenty of sleep, and the place is clean with full amenities. The only minor downside is that ordering delivery can be a bit slow, but it's not a big deal. Overall, five stars!

Even catching an early flight, I was able to enjoy a satisfying meal. The location is super close to the airport, just a few minutes' drive, and the shuttle service was very punctual, so there was no need to worry about missing my flight. Getting around to other places was also convenient. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next layover in Kunming!

Booked this hotel for its proximity to the airport, and it was a great experience! The staff were fantastic, very polite and enthusiastic at the front desk. The room was spotless, and the furniture felt high quality. There's a big lawn right outside the hotel, and several restaurants nearby. You can even get KFC and McDonald's delivered. While it's a bit out of the way being near the airport, everything you need is covered. Very satisfied with my stay – highly recommend!

My stay at this new hotel completely exceeded my expectations! I booked the 'Single Freedom King Room,' and it was incredibly spacious – not cramped at all. The windows overlook lush greenery, so opening them for some fresh air was lovely, and the view was very pleasant. The hotel features brand new facilities and a full range of appliances. The smart home system is super convenient; I could control the lights, curtains, and AC all with just my voice – perfect for a lazy traveler like me! The staff were all warm and attentive, especially the front desk receptionists who were gentle and patient, and quick to respond to any requests. The overall environment was clean and refreshing, showcasing the high quality of a new establishment. It offers great value for money. I highly recommend it for solo travelers!

The room was very new, and the linens were clean and soft. The view outside the window was also beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay. I stayed here to catch an early flight, and the airport shuttle was perfectly on time. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning in the room was a bit difficult to adjust. It happened to be very hot in Kunming these past few days, and since I couldn't get the AC to work, the room felt a little stuffy. I suggest putting a small note next to the AC switch for guidance.

The hotel is only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport, and they offer free airport shuttle service. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room, which was a really thoughtful touch. The room was spotlessly clean with no strange odors, and it featured smart home technology along with a projector – perfect for relaxing with a movie. There are tons of snack stalls and eateries within a 400-meter walk, making it super convenient for food and drinks. Definitely my top choice for a layover or short stay!
