I rarely write any reviews, but my stay at the Doubletree was extremely worth documenting. Coming out of a 24 hour long trip, this hotel and its staff Yedda, Daisy, Jack and Mr. Wang immediately made me feel home! First of all, arranging airport pick up was extremely smooth. Mr. Wang waited for me patiently at a clearly instructed parking place, so there was no confusion. Next, as soon as I arrive at the hotel, there were staff members helping me with the suitcase and guiding me to check in. Then Yeda and Daisy showed their extreme hospitality by providing an amazing room on a higher floor with a view, helped me charging my phone, providing me with freshly baked welcoming snacks. And Jack walked me through on connecting my phone and laptop to the hotel WIFI. Due to my work schedule, they’ve accommodated me with late checkout. Room is huge and clean with full amenities.. even a scale! And yes! I ate both of the rice noodle dishes!! Thank you for going above and beyond taking care of me on this short trip.. I’ll be back and will looking forward to seeing Mr. Wang, Yedda, Daisy, and Jack again soon!

My friends and I chose this hotel for an early morning flight, and it was an amazing experience! It's super close to the airport, which made getting around incredibly easy. The room was spotless, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the giant screen for movies exceeded our expectations – watching a film with friends in the evening was so relaxing. All the facilities in the room were brand new and easy to use. The service was also very attentive and quick to respond. No complaints at all, I'd definitely stay here again for my next layover in Kunming!

The hotel is very close to the airport, which made catching my flight incredibly convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and tidy, with all the facilities feeling brand new. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Since I had an early morning flight and the restaurant wasn't open yet, they even prepared a packed breakfast for me, which was a thoughtful touch. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next layover! There's also a Changshui farmers' market nearby that's worth a visit!

The owner is very kind, and we had a great time picking bayberries – a huge basket for just 10 yuan! Although the road from the airport to the guesthouse was quite bumpy, our arrival was a pleasant surprise. It seems newly renovated, the environment is lovely, and it offers great value for money 😊😊😊

Booked this hotel for its proximity to the airport, and it was a great experience! The staff were fantastic, very polite and enthusiastic at the front desk. The room was spotless, and the furniture felt high quality. There's a big lawn right outside the hotel, and several restaurants nearby. You can even get KFC and McDonald's delivered. While it's a bit out of the way being near the airport, everything you need is covered. Very satisfied with my stay – highly recommend!

Five stars all the way! The hotel is right next to the airport, in a quiet and peaceful environment. The service is impeccable; everyone was polite from check-in to check-out, and they were always there for any issues. The rooms were incredibly clean—the floors, bathroom, and bedding were spotless, and all the facilities were brand new. The most delightful surprise was the airport shuttle service. They always picked us up on time, no matter how early or late, so we didn't have to worry about taking a taxi. The room even had a smart speaker; you could control the curtains and lights just by speaking from bed—a lazy person's dream! The gym downstairs was fully equipped, so we could get some light exercise while traveling. Overall, a perfect experience, and the top choice for connecting flights!

The room was very new, and the linens were clean and soft. The view outside the window was also beautiful, making for a very comfortable stay. I stayed here to catch an early flight, and the airport shuttle was perfectly on time. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning in the room was a bit difficult to adjust. It happened to be very hot in Kunming these past few days, and since I couldn't get the AC to work, the room felt a little stuffy. I suggest putting a small note next to the AC switch for guidance.

I booked this hotel because I had an early flight, and its proximity to the airport, coupled with the free shuttle service, was a real plus. The staff were all incredibly friendly; the shuttle driver even helped with my luggage, and the front desk was very polite – it made the whole experience very pleasant. The room was fully smart-controlled; you could operate everything just by speaking, which was fantastic! The room was also very clean, which I really appreciated. Plus, within a few hundred meters of the hotel, there are many snack and BBQ stalls, which are quite unique and add to the local flavor. I think staying here is an excellent choice – very convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance.
