📍 Location The hotel is not far from the zoo and close to Yuantongshan Subway Station and Huashan West Road Subway Station. It is also convenient to call a taxi near Yunnan Kunming No.1 Vocational Secondary School (Southwest Gate). Great location for getting around the city! 🚇🚕 🛎️ Reception & Check-in The hotel has been renovated and looks brand new. The reception area has everything you need: a toilet, tea, water, a table with chairs, and a waiting area. Check-in was quite fast. 👍 🛏️ Room We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was comfortable. The room also looked newly updated and had all the essentials: towels, slippers, disposable sets, shampoo, and shower gel. The bed had 2 pillows per person with different fillings. There was also a desk, a sofa, and a small tea table. There were plenty of power outlets. 🔌 🍳 Breakfast Breakfast was varied, and you could choose everything according to your taste. 🥢☕ 👏 Staff The staff were polite and always ready to help if something was needed. For example, when my key card was deactivated, they helped me open the room door. 😊 🌙 Quietness If you close the windows at night, it is perfectly quiet. Our windows faced the street, but with the windows closed it was fine. 🤫 💡 Suggestions for Improvement It would be nice to have hair conditioner in the room. Also, if you close the door gently, the sensor starts beeping, so you have to slam the door. There is no door closer, so mornings can be noisy when other guests leave and slam their doors. 🚪 ✅ Overall A clean, renovated, and conveniently located hotel with helpful staff. I would stay here again.

This stay experience exceeded expectations! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, there was a bathtub, and the front desk service was warm and efficient. I also sent me a small bottle of water and an umbrella. It was very intimate and the location was very convenient. There were many delicious snack bars downstairs. It was very close to Kunming Old Street, very close to the subway and shopping malls. The price was very high. After staying for one night, I will continue to live decisively. Next time I come to Kunming, I will choose this warm and humane homestay!

You can tell this is an older, star-rated hotel, but it clearly hasn't been updated and feels a bit dated. We booked a family room, which was a suite with two bathrooms and three sinks. The room was super spacious, but the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable and made noise constantly. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was in an awkward spot, and there was nowhere to dry clothes. The breakfast quality was average; the selection wasn't huge, but they had the basics. The location is truly excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Cuihu Lake, and it's also very convenient for getting to the old town. It's very close to Panjiayao Metro Station. The service was very good, and the staff were all enthusiastic.

The hotel has its own logo printed in many places, which gives it a very thoughtful and reassuring feel. The bathroom and toilet are separate, each with its own door, clean and comfortable. Both the front desk and customer service staff were very patient and answered all my questions, providing an excellent stay. A highlight is its location near Chenxi Rice Noodles, just downstairs. It's also about a 10-15 minute walk to Cuihu Park.

The location is great, next to Kunming Old Street, a few minutes walk away, the traffic is particularly convenient. The house is fully equipped and high-end, smart appliances are very convenient, the bathroom is dry and wet, clean and odorless. The proprietress was super attentive and friendly. When we came, she and the staff were cleaning, and even the door was cleaned. It was really very tidy. Avoid the peak of the flow of people, enjoy a pleasant holiday, and come next time!

Pros: Great Location: 5-minute walk to the lake, and 20 minutes to Kunming Old Street, 30 mins taxi to airport. But you need to take luggage to walk 1 min from the small alley Amenities: Hot water with strong water pressure—great for a refreshing shower. Bed come with heater. Cons: Smoke Smell in Room: Room had a noticeable smell of smoke, which was unpleasant. Amenities: no smart toilet bowl, no air cond/ heater Price: Could be a better value if the room rate was lower and the smoke smell issue was addressed.

I snagged a special offer for 200 yuan a night. I was a bit worried about this older 4-star hotel being run-down, especially after seeing some negative reviews mentioning that, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room! First off, there was absolutely no strange odor! Usually, older hotels like this have rooms steeped in cigarette smoke, but not this one! The room was also very tidy and clean, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. They provided an incredible amount of bottled water! I've never seen a hotel so generous with water before, which I really appreciated. Two of us couldn't even finish it all in two days. The kettle was also quite clean with no scale. I immediately extended my stay. This price and location are truly a steal – it's convenient to get anywhere, and there are eateries, fruit stands, and a supermarket in the alley next door. I'm extremely satisfied! The only minor drawbacks were that the trash bin outside hadn't been emptied when I checked in – perhaps an oversight during cleaning. Also, the shower door had a slight issue and didn't close properly, causing water to splash outside when showering. It would be great if they could fix that promptly. All in all, I'm very happy with my stay for this price 👍🏻

The twin room was located on the side of the room, making it very quiet. The beds were significantly larger than the double beds. The staff were very patient and accommodating to our needs each time. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, and it's also very affordable! Recommended.

I have traveled to Kunming many times and visited all the famous attractions. This time I returned to Kunming, and I especially wanted to visit the former site of the Southwest Associated University and the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall. These two schools have produced numerous talents, many of whom are the backbone of the Chinese nation! Worth a look! Our hotel is located between the two schools, with convenient transportation, convenient and diverse food, warm service, and cheap prices. It is one of the most cost-effective hotels nearby.
