Hotels in Economical Development Zone, Kunming

I stayed at this hotel for a study trip. The decor is quite beautiful, the service is excellent, and the attention to detail is impressive. It's clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable. I'm extremely satisfied. It's conveniently located directly across from Kunming University. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The first impression of the Sheraton Kunming Hotel is its sheer size. There are a large number of rooms, and the breakfast restaurant can accommodate many guests, with at least four or five coffee machines (if I remember correctly) and a wide variety of choices. There's also a free billiard table for guests on the ground floor. Room service was prompt; items that needed replenishing were delivered without delay, despite the hotel being busy. The room was comfortable, the bathtub was a good size and not cramped, and the view was expansive. It's also convenient to get a taxi from here, and it's less than a hundred meters to the third floor of Fukang City, which has many restaurants and a cinema. A special thanks goes to Service Manager Ed. He contacted us via WeChat before check-in, helped look after the elderly, and answered all our questions promptly and attentively during our stay! Five-star praise is a must.

The hotel was easy to find and offered convenient underground parking. The overall environment was very comfortable, and both the cleanliness and service were excellent. The breakfast was also very satisfying.

This was the perfect hotel for me in Kunming. I gave the 6 out of 5 ratings for new, great, clean facilities and wonderful breakfast. But most of all I was very impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. Among them I want to highlight the hotel manager Zhou Chingmin who provided great checkin and orientation. I was not feeling well due to the high altitude and she was so kind to provide me with air cleaner and to inform me that they could find oxygen canister if I needed one. She was an example of customer care expert and I am very greaful for that.

Must boast about the home-like business travel Kunming Economic Development Zone store! The hygiene is too good, the bedding is white and odorless, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the hot water is stable, and even the corners are clean. The sound insulation effect is good, the night is particularly quiet, and I sleep until dawn. Breakfast has local characteristics, soy milk, rice noodles are delicious, and warm ginger tea. Free parking is super convenient, the staff are very caring, live comfortably and at ease, highly recommended!

I often travel to Kunming for business. My usual hotel was fully booked due to a group event, so I searched on Ctrip and found this Hampton by Hilton. It's super convenient, only about a kilometer from my company. I wasn't disappointed after checking in – the service was warm, the room was clean, and the facilities were complete. On the first day, the front desk even upgraded my room. It was a very satisfying experience.

The family room was spacious and clean. The hotel environment was great, and the breakfast was good. However, most of the surrounding shops were closed for the Chinese New Year. I originally booked only one night, but due to traffic on the highway, I changed my plans and headed straight to Kunming. I called the front desk immediately to reserve an extra room. The receptionist, Leo, was incredibly helpful; he arrived at 4 AM and quickly checked me in, even setting up Wi-Fi. The service after check-in was excellent and attentive. The hotel was very clean, and I highly recommend the four-piece bedding set. The hot water in the shower came instantly with great pressure. The breakfast was also good. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming.
