Hotels in Economical Development Zone, Kunming

I chose to stay at the Marriott for easy access to the high-speed train station the next day. The room was clean and tidy. However, the front desk agent during check-in was quite unenthusiastic, acting as if speaking was a chore. The wrong set of toiletries was provided in the bathroom, though the housekeeping attendant was incredibly polite and helpful. As for the buffet on the first floor, I'd recommend skipping it if you can. For someone from Guangdong, the seafood selection there is genuinely worse than what you'd find at a typical 88 RMB buffet. I'd suggest that if the hotel can't provide quality sashimi and seafood, they should simply offer an all-meat or all-cooked food buffet instead. It's a huge letdown.

My second time staying in this wonderful hotel. The hotel still remains the best in the city. The hotel comes with a lot of stuff, including all the toiletries, and it is equipped with many different types of drinks. I also enjoyed the view of the hotel. It’s amazing. Downstairs there is a mall with every single type of restaurant that you can find including a Starbucks. The breakfast is also very delicious. It’s a mixture of western and Asian foods. Thank you so much for the stay. 

What an experience! Like something out of a romance novel, from the extravagant entrance, to the sweeping stair cases, to the Louis 16th furniture, including artwork, gilt edges, romance and comfort... it had the lot. The Spa facilities were amazing. Pools, pools and more pools! Manicured grassed areas, intimate treed walkways, arches, marble, stone, statues, ponds and fountains. Just delightful. The staff were amazing as well. No English at reception, but they were quick with the translators. Definitely felt like a queen at this place. Location was a bit strange...half way between city centre and airport, the surrounds were primarily industrial, and main attractions were about 20 minutes away by Didi, but the price to convenience ratio was still good. Definitely recommend it, even if just for the furnishings!

Super satisfied stay experience! This stay experience far exceeded expectations, and must give full praise! First of all, the most pleasant surprise is the parking. The hotel parking lot has plenty of spaces. You can park directly by car. You don't have to spend time looking for a parking space. It's too worry-free. The room is the simple style I like. The decoration is refreshing and not messy. The focus is on being particularly clean. The sheets and quilts are not stained. The bathroom is also clean and odorless. The living is very comfortable. In the morning, I found free coffee downstairs. The taste was great. It was a simple breakfast to start a day. Fitness lovers don't have to worry, the hotel gym equipment is complete, go to practice in the evening, the facilities are well maintained. The most praiseworthy is the front desk staff. When checking in, they take the initiative to introduce the hotel service. If they have questions, they will answer patiently. The attitude is particularly enthusiastic and makes people feel very kind. I will choose this one next time!

This hotel is great! The environment is good, the service is considerate and thoughtful, and the front desk lady is smiling. The room is clean and spacious, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. This was the perfect hotel for me in Kunming. I gave the 6 out of 5 ratings for new, great, clean facilities and wonderful breakfast. But most of all I was very impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. Among them I want to highlight the hotel manager Zhou Chingmin who provided great checkin and orientation. I was not feeling well due to the high altitude and she was so kind to provide me with air cleaner and to inform me that they could find oxygen canister if I needed one. She was an example of customer care expert and I am very greaful for that.

The first time I stayed at this hotel, the room was clean, the facilities were quite complete, the obedient voice system would sing~ There were flowers and plants on both sides of the hall entrance, so eye-catching~ The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic

Today's 5 stars ⭐ Giving it to Ms. Huang X'e, the front desk lady, for her service attitude. Regarding the inconvenience caused to customers by the unprofessional front desk agent, she apologized directly and immediately (rather than repeatedly calling, which was annoying) and offered a solution. She also provided prompt feedback and addressed any subsequent issues. This is the service a chain hotel should provide. When she apologized in person, she listened attentively, patiently, and humbly to opinions and suggestions. This is the attitude a chain hotel should provide. (After the misunderstanding on the 26th, the front desk agent and salesperson who came up launched into a spiky argument, which only made things worse.) Having more crisis management skills and professional service like this lady would be a great help! I hope you can hire more professional people like her! I don't want to encounter the same mishaps the next time I stay at your hotel in Kunming. 😵😵😵 I sincerely hope Holiday Inn Express can leave the same positive impression I did when I first graduated and started working there! And that it can continue to persevere in the competitive market! Finally, I want to say one more thing: I can't dial your phone number (5789) on Ctrip. I couldn't get in because I didn't swipe my room card to extend my stay. I wanted to call the front desk to send it up, but they couldn't get through! This is a really new hotel, with so many details to consider. I hope they'll improve over time!

The location of the hotel is very good! Entering the lobby is very bright! The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and provides first-class service. The room is spacious and comfortable, with complete facilities, the bedding is soft, the room is clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is also very good. The tea sets are exquisite, the scenery outside the window is picturesque, the electric curtains, and the fully automatic heated toilet seat reflect the standards they should have, allowing you to have a good night's sleep. Hotel employees Wang Chun, Wang Xinning, and Xiao Guo are warm and thoughtful, and their meticulous service makes people feel at home. When I came to Kunming this time, my wife had back pain and needed a stool for bathing. He was solved immediately. There was an incident during dinner in the evening. He forgot to take the room card when he went out. The employee immediately went upstairs to get the room card. It was a bit awkward at once. I was so moved that I wrote a review. I will choose to come here next time, the waiters here are really friendly!

This hotel has a perfect experience. It is very convenient to eat and buy things around. The bedding is soft and comfortable. The sound insulation effect is good. Sleeping all night is particularly practical. The bathroom is dry and wet. There is plenty of hot water. The breakfast is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. The taste is very good.
