I booked a taxi from the airport with Trip. The driver had to leave me at the entrance to the Night Market rather than to my hotel as he had no other choice. Took a while to work out where the hotel was as traders blocked the entrance. Fortunately and unexpectedly my data from Mongolia worked so I could use AMap and Google translate to get to the right place. Accessed through an entrance with 2 elephant statues. Easy to see in the daytime, tricky for first time at night. Each receptionist I met over the days were very helpful and friendly( via Google translate and WeChat). Lift to the room. Very lovely room with round bed and private bathroom. Very clean and comfie. Kettle and tea provided. Air con which I actually used, from the cold of Mongolia to the heat of Kunming. Reception area had seating so one could enjoy tea there (free) and meet others if one felt like it.

My overall stay far exceeded expectations; it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel environment was fresh and elegant, with both interior and exterior areas meticulously clean. The greenery was tastefully arranged, creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. The room layout was well-designed, with all necessary amenities readily available. Appliances functioned smoothly, and the tables, chairs, bathroom fixtures, and soft furnishings were all well-maintained and convenient to use. The service, in particular, was incredibly heartwarming. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and the housekeeping was meticulous, tidying the room with great care every day. The entire stay was hassle-free, and I didn't encounter any issues. The hotel maintains high quality standards, offering a pleasant environment, complete facilities, and attentive service, making for an exceptional overall experience. The price was also very reasonable, offering great value for money. It was a very enjoyable stay. I've saved this place and will definitely choose it again for future trips, and I highly recommend it to everyone for a worry-free booking.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with comprehensive facilities and a separate shower and toilet. It had a TV with live channels and free underground parking. The elevator goes directly to the 26th floor for check-in, and the staff member was diligent and had a great attitude. My only complaint is that I don't understand why there were so many mosquitoes; I killed four of them right after walking in...

I chose the Howard Johnson Life Hotel for my trip with my child this time, and it was absolutely the right decision! The entire experience was perfect, and I have to praise it wholeheartedly! 📍 The location is super convenient. The shuttle bus drops you off right at the entrance at night. Parking and getting in and out are so easy; the flow is very smooth. Even with lots of luggage and a child, it wasn't chaotic at all. 🏨 The hotel's exterior looks grand and impressive at night, and the lobby is clean and spacious. The check-in staff were gentle and efficient. They even prioritized us because we had a child, which was a thoughtful touch that really made a difference. 🛏️ I especially want to commend the family room! The room was incredibly spacious, with a well-thought-out layout that didn't feel cramped. It was specifically designed for families, clean, tidy, and without any strange odors. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, ensuring a really good night's sleep. The child-friendly amenities were also excellent, with complete toiletries and new, sturdy facilities, so I didn't have to worry about bumps or scrapes. My child could run and play freely in the room. The lighting was soft and not harsh, making nighttime wake-ups reassuring. 🍱 The comfort level of the stay was top-notch, with excellent soundproofing. It was quiet and peaceful at night, not noisy at all, allowing my child and me to sleep soundly until morning. The quality of rest was perfect. The hotel's overall cleanliness was meticulous; both public areas and guest rooms were immaculately maintained, visibly reassuring. 💁 The service throughout was exceptionally attentive and considerate. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or security staff, everyone was warm, polite, and responded quickly to requests. There wasn't a single frustrating moment during our stay. When traveling with children, the biggest fear is encountering problems, but this hotel perfectly avoided all pain points. The value for money, comfort, and child-friendliness were all maximized. It's super suitable for both short trips and long-distance layovers. I will definitely prioritize staying here again when traveling with my family. I sincerely recommend it to all parents traveling with children!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, making it really easy to get around and find places to eat. The lobby is clean and grand, and our room was spacious and bright. The housekeeping was incredibly meticulous, and the bedding was so soft we slept soundly. The soundproofing was also pretty good. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and the service was attentive and polite. They even upgraded our room and gave us a complimentary souvenir when we left, which was a lovely touch. The WiFi was fast and stable, and the toiletries and hot water were consistently good. This place offers incredible value for money. I've already saved it and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!

The room was really spacious, and I loved that the toilet, shower, and sink were all separate – very convenient. There was even a Tmall Genie smart speaker to control the curtains and TV. Everything was clean and tidy. The location was great too, right above a night market. Because of the night market, there's some traffic control in the evenings, so if you call a taxi, you'll have to walk a short distance to meet it, but it's not too far. The hotel also has a laundry room with washers and dryers. The front desk staff, security, and cleaning crew were all super friendly and always eager to help with any issues. I later found out one of them was the owner – big thanks to her for all her help!

It is very close to Shuangqiao Night Market, so I chose this place. The homestay is noisy in a place similar to a village in the city. It is acceptable to sleep late. The soundproofing is very poor. The homestay is like this. It is commendable that the sanitary conditions are great. The linen and towels on the bed are very clean. And from the layout of the room, it can be seen that the boss is particular about people.

The room was spacious, the service was attentive, the in-room amenities were complete, the smart devices were very convenient, and the stay was comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the train station, subway station, Shuangqiao Night Market, Kunming Old Street, and the International Convention and Exhibition Center, all within walking distance. I would stay here again if I had the chance.

We love Atour ! Our first stop we came Kunming, we stayed this hotel, the room is spacious and clean, we like the service here esp for the laundry, u can write ur room number on the form and they will send ur clothes back to ur room. On our last stop, we came back to Kunming, we chose back this hotel. The staffs are very friendly and nice, esp 隗亚 ! She is very professional and upholding the company standard. We are greet with her professional hospitality. She gave us hand lotions as welcoming gift and we asked if we could extend our check out time as our flight will be at night , she helped us to extend until 4pm too. She goes all the way to answer our question often help us and make us feels like home staying here

First off, let me praise the breakfast here – it's genuinely good, even better than what you'd find at a 4-star Atour in the Central Plains region, though I'm not sure if that's a regional operational difference. The braised sauce for the rice noodles and blanched vegetables was incredibly fragrant. While the food selection wasn't extensive, everything was exquisitely prepared; there wasn't a single dish that disappointed. It really felt like they put a lot of effort into making breakfast, rather than just going through the motions. I'm curious about the generation of their pillows and mattresses, as I ended up with a stiff neck after sleeping on them. I use Atour at home too and never have issues. **Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive. This new Atour Light Hotel style is distinct and actually a bit better than the older Atour hotels. **Hygiene:** Being a new hotel, there were no strange odors, and the cleanliness was exceptional. Since I was traveling with my child, I'm quite particular about hygiene, and I found it meticulous down to every corner. **Environment:** The hotel's surroundings are fantastic. It's very close to Shuangqiao Night Market, and there are several excellent restaurants right downstairs. **Service:** The service was great. The laundry room was very efficient; my clothes were delivered back just minutes after they were ready.
