Four Points Properties in Kunming

Pros: I like the breakfast spread, it was huge and diversified from salads to cold dishes, Yunnan noodles to close to 10 different cooked dishes. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was somehow self heated, felt warm during winter. Internal room temperature was around 27deg. The hotel is very well located amongst the food street with many halal food around the area. There was a yummy beef pastry store right at the entrance with snaking queues. Cons: Had to open the windows for ventilation; due to central airconditioning, could only make it warm but not cold. Too eager too soon? There were a scenario where the hotel staff tried to enter the room within 5secs after knocking the door, whilst another when the staff actually entered my room when I was in the room, after knocking the door for few secs, to deliver food platter.

Traveling with my elderly parents, this stay was truly exceptional! We had an early morning flight, so we were quite tired by the time we arrived at the hotel around 10 AM. I wasn't expecting much, but the front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. Seeing we had seniors with us, she not only quickly arranged an early check-in but also upgraded our room type. It was such a heartwarming gesture! As soon as we entered the room, my mom couldn't stop praising it, saying the facilities were complete and very convenient to use. The hotel's location is also excellent, with its own parking, which is great for those driving. It's just a short cab ride to Cuihu Lake and the train station. Although there are many phone shops nearby, it's actually very quiet when you're staying there, and ordering takeout is convenient. The only minor drawback was that the central air conditioning vent wasn't perfect. Overall, this stay was very satisfying in all aspects. The breakfast restaurant had a nice ambiance and a good variety of choices, though the signage could be clearer. When traveling, as long as my parents are happy, we are relieved. My mom said she'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit!

1. The location is great, away from the city center, quiet and peaceful, with good soundproofing, making for a very pleasant stay. 2. Convenient for dining and shopping nearby. The room was very clean, the bedding was soft and I slept very well, and the bathroom had no odor. 3. The lobby design is very stylish, and the room lighting and furnishings create a very warm atmosphere. The view from the window is expansive, and opening the curtains in the morning instantly lifts my spirits. As it's a brand new hotel, the facilities are complete and clean (I highly recommend staying at new hotels, as they emphasize good service and cleanliness). 4. The receptionist is very handsome (I specifically asked his surname was Xiong, and I'll definitely look for him again next time). Not only is he good-looking, but he's also incredibly kind and helpful, providing enthusiastic service and quick check-in. He even proactively recommended nearby restaurants. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kunming!

Traveling with a child, I specifically searched for hotels near the airport on Ctrip to avoid an early morning rush for our flight. After comparing a few, I chose this garden hotel. It's actually very close by subway; it only took about 20 minutes on Line 6 to reach the bus stop. The hotel is very new and beautifully decorated. Despite being newly renovated, there was no unpleasant smell at all. We booked a king-size room with a view, and it was very comfortable for our family of three. The absolute highlight is the hotel's large garden, which even has a children's slide, a big lawn, and a small lake. There are also chairs nearby for adults to relax while the kids play. It's highly recommended, and we'll definitely come back next time.
