"Really pleased to chose this hotel. We had a Standard Suite which was excellent value and spacious with separate living room area. Decor and carpet had seen better days but quite acceptable. The cafe food was excellent value....a Burger with chips,egg and chips was around 18MYR. We did go for breakfast at 9 but found the buffet looking unappetising and if it had not been refreshed since being out out first thing so we walked out and went to elite excellent August Cafe 9 mins drive away. Overall though a good stay and would use again."

"Amenities in the room, such as hair dryer, iron, ironing board, kettle, cups, 3 in 1 coffee, tea, drinking water, towels, conditioning shampoo, shower gel and prayer mat for Muslims are available. There is no dental care kit, so bring your own. Otherwise, you'll have to drive a bit to buy one. It was my third time in Kundasang, so we rented a car and drove to the location. The road to the location is quite challenging if you're not used to the rural road. There are plenty of parking spaces there. I also saw guests with private tour guides who drove them around. I think that's a good idea, too. I booked the room with the mountain view, but the weather was not on my side. The mountain was in view very early in the morning when it was still dark, and then it was covered in clouds for the rest of the day. There is no aircon but a cute ceiling fan we didn't use because it was already cold. However, I wish I could open the windows without letting the bugs in. There were huge spiders making their webs near my window, and I dare not open it. The beds are okay - not the comfiest and only one rather flat pillow for our heads. We slept well nonetheless. We spent most of our time outside the room unless it's to shower or sleep. There's a cafe where we took our dinner to the outside dining area. The tables and chairs were scattered around so we had to arrange them ourselves. There is hot water, but at around 7am, the shower runs cold even with the water heater turned on. Could it be that everyone is showering at the same time? A simple breakfast is served at the cafe for the guests. When I was there, they had fried mi hun, French toast, sausages, baked beans, and eggs. There were two types of cereal. A bread station where you can toast your bread. Only white bread was available. Drinks were orange cordial, coffee, and tea. They replenish the food if finished, so don't worry about getting to the breakfast a bit late. The best thing about the whole trip was the booking, checking in, and checking out was hassle-free. Also, if you love flowers, walk around the place and admire their hydrangeas."

"We stayed at Happy Pink, we like the cold nights and breeze there! The view is the same as the photos! Perfect for nature lovers who love sceneries' more the TV. The swing outside each house is enjoyable to have a view at Mount KK. We like the cosyness of the restaurants and the service there. Food is ok but a little slow in serving. Negative is that the water for showering is too weak to be used. We were joking that ”By the time the water flow down to our feet, our hair is already dry”"

"The view from the accommodations was super. Although there were no fans in the room but at night it was very cold, if only the water heater could be more effective it would have been a great stay."

"I stayed at the 3 bedroom villa ( 6 adults ) earlier this week.(July2025) What I liked about the resort: 1: it is a new property, only opened in February, so the furnishings are very new. It has a modern look. The bedrooms are big and spacious and each room has its own en-suite shower and separate toilet. It was also very clean. It is truly a luxurious stay but for the hot afternoon sun effects to the interior of villa in the afternoon as there is no air conditioning 2: beautiful surroundings, you can get great photos of Mt KK from this resort. 3: the staff were very quick and polite in answering/ attending to our queries/ issues we had What can be improved: 1: When the afternoon sun hits the front of the villa, it gets very hot inside as there are only thin curtains on the front facade. Despite the fan full blast and windows opened and front door open, it is still very hot. The 2 bedrooms on ground floor ( as they face the back is ok) but the 3rd bedroom on the top floor is really like a sauna,as all the trapped hot air rises and there is a lot of glass panelling in the front of villa. So thick black out curtains or blinds will help. Aircon the top bedroom, as one will only need it for a few hours in the afternoon. 2: Also the side of the sitting room and kitchen where there are windows, there are no blinds or curtains, so at night with lights on, everyone can see into your living room and dining cum kitchen. 3: All the instructions on how to operate the TV and TV box as well as the hot water shower units are in Mandarin. A manual in English would be most helpful for future clients. 4: I really hope the cafe/ restaurant will start operating soon, as this will make it much easier for guests to have their meals here without having to drive out."

"Our stay here was absolutely magical! The weather was perfect—chilly and pleasant, with a nice breeze. Since we’re used to hot weather, it was like a dream come true. The reception area was huge and right next to it was a great restaurant that served delicious Nasi Goreng. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the resort itself was clean and well-maintained. The view was incredible! From our room on the Kinabalu Wing, we could see the majestic Mount Kinabalu. It was breathtaking! Just a heads up, the dirt and stone road leading to the resort is about 2.2 km long, and if you’re not used to it, it might be a bit bumpy. If you’re coming here for the first time, it’s best to arrive before dark. I’m definitely going back here again! Maybe next time, I’ll have a barbecue under the stars of Kinabalu. That would be epic!"

"Really worth the price. Lots of pine trees. Perfect serenity and escape for hustle and bustle for the price. Hot water works perfectly fine and it’s even better than some other more expensive stays that we went. However. The cleanliness of the comforter could be improved a lil bit. It’s a bit dusty. Otherwise. Everything was good"

"The environment is very beautiful. There is a stream behind it. It is very photogenic. The room also has heating and the bed has a heating pad, which is a plus."
