"A very nice boutique hotel right in the heart of the old city. The room was quite big and well equipped. The staff was super friendly and spoke many languages. Breakfast is a la carte so it’s quality versus quantity. They cook it to order. Overall a very nice stay. Recommended 👍🏼"

"Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Marija in Montenegro. The location is very convenient, close to the old town and main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. "The hotel is located in the old town. We stayed on the 3rd floor. It's very convenient for strolling around the old town, with a beautiful view from the windows (they faced three directions). There were no dishes in the room (we asked the owners of the hotel downstairs (there's a cafe there). The old town is noisy at night, with loud music playing in the cafes and bars. You could hear it very well in the room. The stairs in the tower are very steep, making it difficult to climb up and down with suitcases. We were sent to check in ourselves; the tourist center is in the old town. The location is great, the owners are friendly, the price is good, and it's quite clean. If loud music doesn't interfere with your sleep, this is a great option."

"An excellent hotel with good rooms, facilities and breakfast. The Kotor Bay view from the hotel room is also excellent. Only downside is its location. You need to drive a few KM on a narrow road to reach the hotel."

"Great location in Old Town. About 15 mins walk along the waterfront to Kotor bus terminal. The apartment is at the back part of the Old Town so it’s very quiet. Comes with full kitchen. Plenty of eateries nearby. The host is very nice and responsive to my questions. My suggestions for improvements is to provide indoor slippers for the guests as the floor is cold in winter. And also a microwave in the kitchen to warm up food the next day. The shower area is very small so the floor gets really wet. Maybe have a glass door or shower curtain as a solution. Other than that, it was a lovely stay!"

"Not like the pictures on tripadvisor. Very dull and dark. The sheet on our bed wasn’t wide enough to tuck in so when you turned over the sheet would move meaning you were sleeping on the mattress. Top of the tiles in the bathroom were dusty. When you walked in through the from gate sometimes there was an unpleasant smell. The only positives were location and plenty of hot water."
