"Open space hotel with very little privacy if you stay at the pool view room ( mostly are). There are no bath tab in the room. Trip has wrongly advertised"

"What a little gem ,very close to beach plenty of restaurants and shops 10 min walk into kos old town , All of the hotel was spotless,every one of the staff was brilliant very friendly and nothing was to much trouble kept us fed and watered all 12 days brilliant stay definitely would return 😍"

"I want to start by saying we had a fab holiday, a relaxing break filled with lots of lovely things to do. Our party consisted of My husband and I (late 40s) daughters age 16, 14, 11 and my active parents in their mid 70s. We are not big drinkers, but like the occasional drink, 3 of the party are vegetarian. We usually go on 5* holidays. The hotel was well spaced out with lots of pools (cold salt water - children didn't mind, but not great for the adults!). Lots of steps everywhere. The planes do fly directly overhead. All of this we read about before and didn't really mind about. The fact that everything was spaced out was a bonus for us as it never really felt busy! Lots of sunlounges everywhere, but despite the signs, people did get up at silly O' clock to reserve the ones directly by the pool. The hotel was a little dated and some of the grounds really could do with a freshen up and some maintenance, however the rooms and communal areas were very clean. The a la carte restaurants were good, presentation being slightly better than the food, great for Instagram’s pics. Wouldn't run to go back, limited veggie options, but nice enough and made a change from the buffet. The Main buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good, quite a good range and they had different nights including 'Asian, fish, international and Greek'. Lots of fresh fruit and salad dishes. Good desserts. Not a big of a selection as a I would expect for a 5* rating especially when it came to cold meats, vegetarian dishes, desserts, cheese, breads and pastries. But what we ate was good… although Youngest has food poisoning at the end of the holiday which we suspect was from pink chicken. We always found somewhere to sit at the buffet but it does get busy during peek times and you cant always get a seat in the air con areas. Snack bar food was ok at a basic level, chips, burgers and nuggets. No vegetarian options. Ice cream and shakes were nice - but very limited basic flavours. BIG queues!! Cocktails and mocktails were OK, basic selection and tasted basic. Drinkable - but nothing to write home about. No frozen drinks which the children were disappointed by. We had drinks fridges in our room with plenty of water and fizzy drinks topped up daily. The amphitheatre I'd give 0 stars to as a venue. It looked like a deserted dilapidated version of the place you go to see sea lions perform, with tiered uncomfortable plastic seating. We only watched one show, the lights and fire show. My girls gave it 2.5*. There is nowhere to get a drink by the theatre. We did go to a quiz night there run by the entertainment staff and that was great fun. Entertainment staff (animation team) were exactly that, entertaining and animated, so friendly and approachable (without being in - you -face) made the quiz and pool games so much fun. Massive shout out to Jess who was super helpful with what was on at the hotel and knowledgeable about things to do outside the hotel too. My girl's just liked hav"

"Lots of good: Staff are mostly incredibly attentive and polite; good drinks selection; lovely bar; gorgeous views; nice room. However, there are a few major concerns that would stop me returning. The food quality is poor and often cold. When it runs out, trays aren't filled up quick enough meaning you can miss out. Bedroom sheets don't get changed unless requested (ours got turned inside out, I think to create the impression they in fact had been cleaned...). While the room we had was great, the AC unit wasn't working properly and, despite several calls to reception, they were unable to fix it, resulting in me manufacturing a temporary DIY solution - not really how I want to be spending my time. Finally, one of the pools is labelled as "adults only" - which is a nice touch during the summer holidays - but this simply isn't enforced. Keep the rule, or get rid of it."

"Staff were very friendly and resort was amazing. Staff organised a birthday cake with candles and a letter for my sister without being made previously aware of the birthday. We asked for dinner recommendations for her birthday and came back to find birthday cake and card. Great selection of food and restaurants with ample sunbeds around the pools and beach for tanning. We had a late flight so staff collected our luggage from rooms and stored safely, allowing us to continue using the resort facilities. Also able to shower and freshen up in the departures lounge before heading to the airport. Overall great experience, would definitely go back."

"Staff were all very friendly, the views from the pool area and room are fantastic, and the food on the whole was good. Only two issues we had were the pool area is relatively small with limited sun beds - fine if you’re up early but everyday they were all taken, so I feel some couples may have missed out if they decided to sleep in or go out for the morning. The pool itself was lovely and perfect refreshing temperature, with a very relaxed atmosphere. Finally the other issue was the air conditioning in the room was not effective enough - during the day it was manageable if the blinds were kept closed, however at night it got very hot and was uncomfortable to sleep. Food on the whole was very good - the food is mostly fresh and all cooked in an open kitchen in the Thyme restaurant, with a lot of ingredients grown locally on site. Staff were all very friendly the whole stay, including all the restaurant and pool staff. Overall an amazing stay and would definitely recommend for couples."

"The hotel is divided into two adjacent buildings: the main building with five sea-view rooms on the second floor, and another five rooms facing the rear, also with balconies and Jacuzzis. The annex contains eight more rooms: four on the upper floor with sea views, and four on the ground floor, essentially beachfront, with direct beach access and a small terrace. The hotel no longer has a reception desk. Check-in is easily done at the beach restaurant, which is part of the hotel. My suitcase was carried up to the second floor, and the safe was explained to me in detail upon request. Also new during my stay was the switch from à la carte to a buffet, so I experienced the set menu service for the first few days, but was able to serve myself from the buffet for the remaining days. Numerous restaurants and shops are located in the immediate vicinity. The older gentleman who rents out the sun loungers on the beach is very friendly. First row of sun loungers: 2 sunbeds/parasol/chair + table = €20. Second row of sun loungers: €15. Behind these (these loungers are not marked with a price): €10. As a solo traveler, I only paid €5, which I found extremely fair. Based on my long walks on the beach, I can say that this stretch of beach is by far the most beautiful. The other beaches sometimes have large stones in the water and a lot of seaweed. Plus, you're practically lying on top of each other there. At the Seaside Marmari, there was plenty of space between loungers, so you had peace and privacy. The Wi-Fi, which had been criticized in previous reviews, worked perfectly for me. The room was a good size, and the much-described sea view speaks for itself: simply magnificent. The management seems to read the hotel reviews thoroughly and has already implemented many of the travelers' suggestions for improvement. For example, there are reading lamps right by the bed, and several additional hooks have been installed in the bathroom. Beach towels are now also provided in the room to use on the sun loungers by the sea. The air conditioner appears to be in mint condition and was very quiet and easy to use. The refrigerator is a good size. A kettle, a selection of teas and coffees, and cups are provided. However, a major drawback, and one frequently mentioned in reviews, is the definite lack of additional storage space for items such as underwear, beachwear, T-shirts, etc. This urgently needs to be addressed with the addition of some shelves. One possibility would be to install several drawers or compartments at the bottom of the open wardrobe, as there is space there. Another suggestion for improvement: please install a fly screen on the bathroom window and a screen door leading to the balcony. With these temperatures, it would have been wonderful to sleep with the balcony door open if the mosquitoes hadn't bothered us :) The size of the"
