The location is very convinient and the personel were friendly, but the management was too strict. We got 4 bed room with our trip.com reservation for a family four, but they wanted to charge extra 30 euros, claiming that our 16 year old dauther cannot be considered as child, even though I showed them a confirmed reservation form trip.com for a 3 adult and 1 child (in trip.com page under 18 year old kids are considered as child). They said they would give a discount of 3 Euros out of 30 Euros, showing a sympathy! We accepted to pay 27 Euros not to waste our short vacation time. But, then, they charged 3 more Euros at the check out time, saying that is for the tax and they forgot about it! The two beds for our son and dauther were sofas, not comfortable. The airconditioners were not cooling enough. The room quality is not for a 4-star hotel, barely 3-star hotel.

Just returned from a week staying at the Lango Design, Kos I like small modern hotels with only around 50 something rooms but what stands out are the staff here. Everyone is friendly and helpful and a credit to the Management Team. Our room was not the largest but well designed and comfortable. Aircon worked well as did Wi-Fi through out the hotel and beach area. Our room was over the restaurant and my only criticism is that we could hear the staff setting up early in the morning and also at night. Not the end of the world but if you want a quite room I would suggest asking for one the other side - away from the front. Always plenty of deck chairs by the pool and beach - we preferred the beach due to the lovely breeze. Staff would come round offering little ”shots” and ”mini ice creams”. Breakfast was buffet style with nice selection of both hot and cold dishes. Coffee was great and the staff would remember your coffee preference so as you sat down the coffee would arrive. As our preference is to eat out we would walk into Kos town - around 35 minutes or take the bus which stops outside (Eur 1.50). In and around Kos town there are plenty of restaurants and hotel can recommend if needed. I am sure we will return to Kos and our hotel of choice will be the Lango Design.

Just returned from a very pleasant stay in Kos at the Michelangelo Resort & Spa Hotel. The fact that this is already the third time that we have chosen this hotel for our stay on Kos shows that we love it here. Beautiful modern rooms (we had a frontal sea view - great!). The restaurants offer plenty of choice and the à la carte restaurants are sublime. Infinity pool with beautiful view at the sea. We preferred the pebble beach with plenty of beach beds and a beach bar with super friendly service and delicious cocktails. The entire staff at reception, restaurants and bars is super friendly and helpful.

What a beautiful location for this wonderful Hotel. The view having breakfast is breathtaking .We loved sitting watching all the boats going out each morning. Breakfast was adequate plenty of choice daily. the location is spot on right at the Harbour. You can go left to the beach in a few mins and go right to the heart of Kos Town . The rooms facing the Harbour have the most amazing view and to wake up to that each morning was just fabulous .We found the cleaning lady came daily to clean our room, and gave us fresh towels and she was always smiling and polite. The Front staff could not do enough for us, they were polite and friendly and most helpful especially William who went above and beyond to accommodate us. last but not least the Pool area is lovely and comfortable and you can be lucky to find two Thurtles that live there I believe for a long time and their baby which is two.how fab is that. This Hotel has an amazing locaation that draws you back for sure it has Wonderful staff and a lovely Poo area. We have already booked to go back again, as have a lot of people that we met during our stay.

This is a sprawling village style resort hotel with 3 lovely pools and manicured gardens, spotless throughout and great views. HOWEVER. The food is dire. Breakfast is ok, we had snack lunch down at the Cabana pool, but dinner is a write off. Lukewarm gristle, unidentified grey meats in a congealed sauce, no vege options other than boiled pasta. I mean it’s awful. We tried the a la carte restaurant and walked out- calling stale rolls topped with soggy tomato and unidentified white crumbled cheese as bruschetta is very poor. My friend’s chicken dish was inedible - dry, hard and no taste or seasonings. Do not waste an evening at the hotel for dinner. It’ll be full of regret. BEACH Nothing like the website- do not believe the photos. We travelled with Jet2 and complained and they said that the photos on their website referred to the town beach. But the hotel’s own website depicts a sandy beach- there is a ***** of sand for a few sunbeds, but the sea is inaccessible due to rocks. You can walk 200m along to a sandy beach but can’t sit on the loungers as they belong to the hotel next door. The sea is clear and snorkelling is excellent. We walked about 10mins into Kardamena town and had lovely dinners and wine for about €20 a head. The views at breakfast are particulary stunning- we saw sunrise when going out for a day trip. The main bar with entertainment is undercover and if you smoke, you’ll be fine. If you don’t (we don’t) you’ll have to pull chairs out and sit by the pool otherwise you’ll smell like you’ve been in a pub in the 1980’s. Overall, stay at the hotel for the pools, the views, breakfast and a well laid out, beautiful, scrupulously clean, spacious resort hotel. Go into Kardamena for dinner. Don’t come if you want a beautiful beach that you can lie on- we have uploaded a photo of the hotel beach.

Awesome last minute trip. Great and friendly staff. With it being the very end of season, a few minor things were less than perfect but quite understandable for a late October holiday. The buffet was overall good, varied, and unlike some other places I saw recently - routinely changed out the hot food to keep things fresh. Excellent price point, and would be happy to go back.

GGuest UserKos Aktis Art Hotel is a reasonably priced hotel that provides an unparalled sea view and comfort with a really kind and helpful front desk staff like Sofia. Breakfast served in the open air dining room right by the edge of the sea is delectable with a variety of hot and cold options to choose from. And the hotel is within easy walking distance to all the major attractions like the old town as well as the ferry port. Stay at Kos Aktis was truly a pleasant experience.

This is a really lovely hotel within walking distance of Kos town and Lambi beach. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The breakfast is amazing and it was nice to eat here occasionally in the evening. My sister loves the design elements in the hotel and I love the fact that it is so comfortable and quiet. We had a very relaxing stay and will be going back next year.

Our twin room had a swim up pool. Everything was clean. Beds were made daily and you could have fresh towels and bedding daily, if you wanted. I went with my daughter. My husband uses a wheelchair and it wouldn't have been accessible at all. A lot is quite steep. All the restaurants are excellent and there's certainly something for everyone. We had no problems booking any of the restaurants. We swam in 2 of the beautiful pools, but preferred the beach. It's very pebbly and I was glad of my beach shoes. The Aegean Sea is very clear and teeming with fish, so bring a snorkel. We did a parasail and jetski, both of which were €60 for 15 minutes, so quite expensive. We left the hotel and took a bus to Kardamena, about 15 minutes away. Nice little seaside place and we took a boat trip to Nisyros, which I'd recommend. An hour's trip there, a 20 minute bus ride to the volcanic crater and then 3½ hours to wander around the beautiful little town. Amazing ice cream! We also took a bus into Kos, which was a great place for shopping. We had a fabulous week. 3 things which would have improved our experience - 1) a map of the hotel on arrival - it's a huge site to navigate and the qr code just takes you to a generic Google map. 2) explaining the breakfast system. Waiters will bring your drinks, but we didn't know this at first 3) the menus are all downloaded by scanning qr codes. However, you can ask for a menu as these are available. Again, we weren't informed.

I booked Aegean Houses having read its good reviews so felt its only fair I return the favour for others. What can I say, Brilliant Place ! We have never been made feel more welcomed on holidays anywhere else. This place has the most welcome homely feel, they treat you like family. As a family of 6 we needed two rooms, one was on ground floor, one half a floor above. The food is great, the pool excellent and because its a small resort you get to know other holidaymakers. Our kids made friends at the pool. They dont allow reserving of sunbeds so never a problem to get a sunbed at any time of day. Now on to this resorts golden asset, its staff !! Absolutely amazing. They made the holiday for us. From Poppi and Costas by day to Stelios and Kyros at night we were treated like royalty. These 4 need a pay rise they are so good at their jobs.Reception, kitchen and cleaning staff excellent too. The air con was great, the rooms a little tired (reno planned for winter)but spotless and if im honest the living area a little small for us but its a sacrifice I would make again to stay here. Its a 20-25 minute flat walk into Kos town with more restaurants than you could ever need. All in all a great holiday, sad to leave will definitely return some day.

This is our opinion and based on our preference and experience. We travelled with a 1.5 year old to give you context, when we arrived we were checked in and taken to our room, we at no point were told our room had been changed/upgraded. Upon entering it was obvious this was not the room we had booked, now whilst a room upgrade is lovely this upgrade had stairs and was set across two floors and without stairgates was not safe. When I went to reception they advised there was nothing that could be done until the next day. This delayed us being able to start our holiday as we couldn't unpack and had to hang about until 1pm the next day before we were able to get in. We had the sliding door room with a terrace and sea view, the room was out dated, one of the sliding doors was broken, the floors were dirty and the bathroom was covered in mould within the grout. We also had a metal handle in the bath which was rusty and the orange rust had leaked down the wall and into the bath staining it. There was no toiletries provided apart from a despenser which I found really unusual in a 4/5 star hotel and was also hard to use, we had to pump 4/5 times just to get a small amount of product to wash our hands. The TV was old and the picture quality was grainy, there was one Greek Disney channel for children and then the rest of the channels were sports. We had a terrace area which was great when our toodler napped but the grass was watered so much every morning that it had become squelchy and due to the foot traffic over the summer the area around our terrace/sunbeds had become so muddy. The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and always left us water if we had put do no disturb on the door but i would say the quality of cleaning was poor. We stayed for 10 nights and in that time we were never able to get an iron, we were on a waiting list but everyday when we went to check there was still never one available. We was also surprised that reception would never contact us to inform us one was ready or have one left in our room. I've never stayed at a hotel where I couldn't get an iron. Food was luke warm at best, drinks were below average. It was the same food recycled everyday. There was a good variety of vegetables and fruit but the meat/fish was either under or over cooked and seriously lacked any seasoning. The children selection was extremely poor and lacked any nutritional value. We had read reviews and heard from other holiday makers about people getting sick due to the food, the day before we were due to leave I ended up getting food posining, my partner went to reception to inform them as I was very poorly but the receptionist said she is not sure what to do and just said she hopes I feel better soon, she did take a note of the food i ate as it was different to what my partner and daughter had. He then told the Tui rep the next day who in our opinion was extremely rude about the situation and said we shouldn't be making accusations without hav

We stayed at divine suites for our 7th wedding anniversary in Sep for 11 nights. We was on the 2nd floor. We also stayed last year. This hotel is the sister hotel to Aktis Art, where we stayed in 2017 when we got married in Kos. Amazing from start to finish. Warm welcome on arriving very late. Room amazing. View from balcony af the sea and harbour. Huge bed. Very clean too. We unpacked and went onto the rooftop terrace. Had a couple of drinks. Views amazing. Breakfast plentiful and often replenishing it. Staff very pleasant and approachable. Pool area plenty of beds available and a private beach just over the road. We hired towels for a deposit of €20 which we changed daily, for a clean one. The shop on ground level was very reasonable too. Big shout out to Rafaela (manager) who recognised us from a previous stay, she is always smiling and couldnt do enough for us. We will definitely be returning next year either to Aktis art or Kos divine. Thanks again 5*.

We came to KOS for our Honeymoon and stayed at the Luxme Imperial, this is the best holiday i have ever had. Definitely worth the all inclusive plus, you get to have one meal in each of the a la carte restaurants if you stay a week, as well as free mini bar stock up when ever you like, free drinks, free buffet with all the food even fussy people would find something they like. There is a chocolatery every evening and snacks till late. They will also clean your room daily and provide you with new towels there is also a hut by the pool for the larger towels to save bringing the room towels. The staff are amazing and so kind they will go out of their way to help you, carry your bags to your room etc. They will also stock your mini fridge as part of the all inc. There is also a little go-karting place just outside the resort that is really good fun and say hey to the donkey. For things to do there is a quad bike hire right next to the resort saves getting a taxi back from town it can be a bit of long stand at the taxi rank. Going anywhere by public transport or taxi on the weekend is a nightmare due to airport pickups. So i would say hire a quad if you do plan to do anything on the weekends. The town isn't far at all maybe 10mins in the taxi the front desk will call it for you its 14 or so euros to get to town (at the time of this review). One must see is bubble/paradise beach. It is on the far side of the island so definitely do this on your quad bike day. I wish we would have gone earlier in our trip as we would have gone more then we did. Its 2 beached over from the small island you can swim out to. So we didn't spend super long there as we wanted to do both but honestly if i did it again i would spend the whole time at bubble beach. Its a volcanic beach its not hot like the thermal springs but it also doesn't stink of egg like the thermal springs ( I found these way to hot like boiling water so if you do go prepare for a long day take a quad bike as the walk is incredibly steep but you can park down the bottom to save your self a long steep sticky walk). But bubble beach has stunning bubbles that you can swim through doesn't effect the smell or temperature of the water and is incredible. There is a brilliant restaurant there, the chicken gyros from there are amazing chicken in a big pitta type wrap. they will try and charge you for using the beach beds there but as we spent all our time in the water with our water proof phone cases to get good footage we just shoved out towels and change of clothes on the sand. From the main KOS town the boat tours are amazing but i would definitely say choose Cristina's its still busy but the others are jam packed and there is nowhere to lie or relax they also have the music stupidly loud and the boat tours are a long day they are also one of the only tours that can cook on board and to food is amazing. Lastly if you do go into Bodrum for the day (I wouldn't go again), just be prepared to walk a lot in the blist

We stayed at the Angela Hotel for a month from 9th September this year. We wanted an apartment in a hotel with a pool. The Angela was perfect because we had a super large apartment for 2 with sitting room and kitchenette together with dining table for 4. We also had the biggest nicest bathroom and a huge veranda which you could acces from the bedroom and the sitting room. Great for cups of tea in the morning watching the sun rise! The hotel is super clean with the best team of cleaners. We had Anna as our cleaner on our floor who was extra special. The bar staff, especially Stella, were also lovely. Reception were extremely helpful because we needed more with staying such a long time allowing us to look at other rooms, sorting out a tv for us as well information on anything from taxis to when the water may return. Always willing to help. The pool is great and we swam in it most mornings because it is open at 8 am(not many hotels do this). The bar area is full of things to do as well as serving drinks and breakfasts. The location of this lovely hotel is special too because you can walk to the town with dozens of restaurants and bars as well as the harbour with all the boats. You can walk to the ruins that are throughout the town - you turn a corner and someone has a Roman arch in their back garden. There is a castle, an amphitheatre and a well preserved Roman Villa - amazing to survive the numerous earthquakes Kos town is a great place to visit and the Angela Hotel was fabulous for us
