"Helpful staff that made our stay smooth and easy. Useful to have a basic kitchen but a bit far from the center and the road is not walkable friendly so will recommend to have a car."

"This time we went to Shanghai, we chose to stay at the Grand Grand Hotel (The Palau Royal Resort). The overall experience was very satisfactory. It was an unforgettable Nanguo holiday. The hotel is located by the sea, with a private beach and a pier. You can enjoy the blue sea view and sunset by opening the door. It is very healing. The rooms are spacious and clean, the facilities are perfect, the beds are comfortable, the service staff are friendly and courteous, and they will communicate in simple Chinese and are very friendly to Taiwanese travelers. Every day breakfast is buffet style, there are Chinese and Western options, and you can eat well. The hotel also has a swimming pool, gym, spa, and meeting point for diving and sea trips. Especially suitable for parent-child or family travel, not only safe, clean, but also provide a quiet and relaxing environment. Recommended to friends who like nature and island life, the Grand Hotel is definitely the best choice for emptying and healing!"

"The place offers good value in an area of expensive hotels, great service by the staff and the whole building is kept clean. AC was a bit old and did not really work well during day time but was sufficient at night."

"Fabulous place to stay, very central and an amazing view and pool, the staff are so nice and just can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable, the pool is amazing. On first impression the place looks weathered and a shadow of its former self, there are about 60 rooms and 18 bungalows but only a few guests , there is a bar but hardly anyone uses it, the breakfast is very Asian but there is some western food so you won’t starve. The place is absolutely spotless and we really enjoyed our time there and would stay there again if ever in Palau"

"No problem with water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was pretty good. The menu changed every day. The rooms were cleaned, but the sheets were not changed. There was a small beach and a pool. There was also a cafe and souvenir shop on-site. The staff were very kind and cheerful. It seems to be a hotel that is frequented by many ********* people."

"Well, the location is okay, directly at the Main Street in Koror, with small shops, a shopping mall and food stores nearby. The Staff was very friendly & accommodating and the airport pickup service worked perfectly. The hotel itself is a bit dated, whilst the simple equipped Oceanview Room is spacious enough for two, but I doubt the ocean can be seen nicely on the lower floors. Overall it depends what are your expectations, if you are looking for a hotel to sleep, have breakfast and spend all day outside for diving, snorkeling, excursions, the hotel may be okay, but it’s a bit pricy for what you get. But if you are looking for a place to spend your day for relaxing & chilling at the pool / beach, it is definitely not the right place."

"The hotel provided an excellent experience during our first trip to Palau. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Its location in the city center was extremely convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance, so we never had to worry about transportation or finding good food. What truly stood out, however, was the front desk staff-Yssa . They were polite, approachable, and genuinely warm in their interactions. Their professionalism was matched by their friendliness, and they went out of their way to assist us whenever we needed help. It is rare to encounter employees who combine beauty, kindness, and dedication so seamlessly, and their presence added a special charm to our stay. Thanks to their thoughtful service, our journey was not only smooth but also filled with delightful moments. They made us feel welcome from the very beginning and ensured that our needs were met with care and efficiency. This level of hospitality is hard to find and deserves recognition. Overall, the hotel offered both comfort and heartfelt service, making our Palau adventure even more memorable."

"The bathroom is sufficient, there is a kitchen that is a plus, there are several supermarkets within walking distance to cook by yourself, if you can have a washing machine or dehydrator and more places to dry clothes, it is more convenient."

"I love staying here when I get the chance to visit, if I'm not staying with family. It's situated right in the middle of downtown Koror, so you can walk to most things. The rooms are good, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and The Canoe House restaurant/bar is one of my favorites on the island. My 4th time staying here, and the price (compared to other similar hotels on island) is well worth it! Would highly recommend!"
