Sheraton Kauai Resort Villas ★★★★
"This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip, and also the most expensive at over $4000 a night! The environment, service, and facilities were all top-notch. Free parking and an unbeatable view were major pluses. The room came with a washing machine, dryer, electric stove, microwave, and a complete set of kitchenware and dishes. This was a wonderful surprise for us, as there really aren't many good food options on Kauai. We bought some groceries at the supermarket and cooked several meals ourselves, which was great. It saved us a lot of money and even cured our 'Chinese stomach'! If the price were closer to $1000 a night, I'd happily stay here for a whole month."
Sheraton Kauai Resort ★★★★
"It was a very good vacation experience. Every employee in the restaurant and guest rooms was extremely enthusiastic and friendly. Members received a free room upgrade. The food in the restaurant was good and the whole family liked it. We will continue to stay here next time."
Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa ★★★★★
"Beautiful Grounds and Great Staff, but Far Below Expected Standards for the Price We visited the Grand Hyatt Kauai with high expectations, given its reputation, beautiful location, and the premium price tag (often $800+ per night plus resort fees). To be fair, the staff throughout the property is truly lovely and very friendly—their warmth and hospitality were a clear positive during our stay. The tropical setting and expansive pool landscape are also undeniably stunning. However, the overall experience, cleanliness, and service efficiency were unacceptable for a resort in this price category. During our stay, we encountered issues: Long Wait Times: Expecting guests who pay nearly $1,000 a night to stand in long lines every morning at 9:00 AM just to get a breakfast table is completely unacceptable. Dining & Hygiene: Wet plates and glasses with heavy limescale buildup, showing a clear lack of quality control in the food and beverage department. Pool & Public Areas: Sun loungers were frequently covered in bird droppings, and tables around the pool were left uncleaned. Garbage from other guests sat in the hallways, and the guest laundry facilities were in a deplorable state (malodorous washing machines and discarded clothing left lying around). Hallways & Maintenance: The carpets in the corridors are visibly stained and worn out. We even noticed exposed electrical sockets in public areas, which is a clear safety concern. Room Condition: Our room showed some signs of a maintenance backlog. The shower was covered in limescale, and the toilet had an unpleasant odor throughout our stay. Despite the wonderful employees, we felt like we paid luxury prices for budget-level maintenance, poor upkeep, and crowd management issues. Until a proper renovation and stricter quality controls take place, we cannot recommend this hotel at its current price point."
Hilton Vacation Club the Point at Poipu Kauai ★★★★

Aston at Poipu Kai ★★

Marriott's Waiohai Beach Club ★★★★
"My crew & I recently spent a week at this vacation club. We really enjoyed the time and found everyone at the hotel team to be helpful and quick. As 4 adults, we found the place spacious , well equipped kitchen and loved the balcony. The grounds, garden and pools were really nice and well kept. A couple of times we texted for trash pick up and towel refreshes and the team was there in 10 minutes or less. Jose was super helpful. The hotel beach was nice, we rented an umbrella one day to get some shade. Poipu beach is just a short walk away and there were sea turtles! Lei making class was a fun activity to kick off the vacation. I would say good choices were pretty limited at the hotel and we went out or cooked in the room for most meals. I would recommend this location to others seeking a great place to stay in Kauai."
Koa Kea Resort on Poipu Beach ★★★★★
"Beautiful location close to the beach. First room we were shown was extremely dark so we asked to change to a different one that didn't require to have the lights on during the day. Restaurant was decent, bed was comfortable. The one time we wanted to spend some time by the pool there weren't any chairs left, so would advise to go early to secure a spot."
Kiahuna Paradise @ Poipu with 2 AC units Family size condo with patio ★★★
