The room is very large, comes with a kitchen, the room is clean, walk five to ten minutes from the beach. Usually not cleaned, only cleaned up at check-out. There is no air conditioning in the room, only a fan, but it is very cool at night, and there is no problem with air conditioning.

We recently stayed for a week at the Point at Poipu, traded in from Maui. We were in building nine (Had stayed in 7 previously) so had a view of the pool and ocean. We were left alone regarding upgrading our timeshare. The last time we were there the pool scene was serene, this time not so much. People have begun the towel gig to save the beach chair while they aren't there. Also some very rude patrons. On the weekends the pool was full of kiddos so was kind of hectic and chaotic. The bar had a small menu but everything you need when you don’t want to go out. The bartender was welcoming and gave us some good tips. We walked the beach walk almost daily and saw the turtles floating in front of our room morning and night. Kauai was relaxing. The complex is a bit outdated and it’s a long walk to some buildings but the positives certainly outweigh the negatives. The are doing a remodel from what we could tell. We always found a parking spot. The staff was polite and helpful. Would definitely come back for that amazing view!
