Looks better than the photos, lovely beach, feels exclusive. Service was good thoughout the resort, proactive and butler is just a WhatsApp away.

The view is beautiful, but the food and service are poor. The breakfast is subpar, and the Sands restaurant is empty and unsatisfactory. This is not a five-star hotel, and I am very disappointed.

Amazing hospitality especially by the villa concierge Chan. The Banyan Tree team also provided many unique touchpoints that distinguish them from other hotels. For example, at check in, we were given a lotus flower and learnt how to fold the lotus petals. When we reached the villa, we were guided by Chan to release the lotus flower in the pool, symbolizing releasing bad karma and inviting positivity into our lives. Throughout the stay, there were various essential oils and pillow styles available to choose from. Guest services were also happy to comply with requests for ice, and any other additional requests we had, such as turn down services conducted at a later or earlier time, according to our itinerary. At checkout, we were also presented with a farewell drink, and a small token to remember our stay at the Banyan Tree Samui. In totality, this stay exceeded all our expectations and we look forward to returning in future.

Very good hotel for family. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We got the help from LuLu and others to book the fishing boat within short time, they even help to pay the cash first, and allow me to pay backup later after collect from the bank. Anyway, very good hotel to live with my family.

Best villa hotel in samui. Pool is much bigger than a normal pool villa. Would recommend horizon hill crest room. Service is v good

Very good hotel, Banyan Tree's service has always been at a high standard, and every employee will greet you warmly. The room layout is a bit old, but the maintenance is very good, and the stay is very comfortable. There are not many breakfast options, but it is also exquisite. The hotel has too few dinner restaurant options. If the Thai restaurant is full, you can only go to the beach restaurant. The beach restaurant is fully open. If it rains or is windy, it is not very comfortable to dine.
