It was a very bad stay. I originally brought my family of 5 to have a happy vacation, and I came here for the reputation of the parent-child hotel in Koh Samui. However, I didn't expect that the safety protection measures of the children's water park were so inadequate. The water amusement itself is easy to slip, but there are basically no soft packing measures on the facilities, and very sharp steel sheets are exposed. My wife hit her head while playing with her children and was seriously injured. The wound was 7 cm long and deep enough to see the skull. A lot of blood was shed. Emergency treatment was carried out in Thailand. Not only did it cost a lot of medical expenses, but my body and mind were also damaged. The whole vacation was completely ruined. The whole family basically accompanied me in the hospital every day to change the dressing and disinfect. Before returning home, I consulted with the hotel to negotiate a solution. The hotel was firm and said that it was caused by our own carelessness and that adults should not be accompanied to enter the children's amusement facilities. This is really infuriating. Parent-child hotel, children's amusement facilities do not allow adults to accompany them? This children's water park is for adults to accompany their children. Which parent would feel at ease letting their children play in the water facilities by themselves? This is a complete excuse to shirk responsibility. Later, I was scared when I thought about it. Fortunately, the child was not injured in such facilities. They also said that the hotel has fulfilled its responsibilities (assisted in treating wounds, assisted in calling ambulances, and expressed care verbally) and will not bear any other responsibilities. Several communications were ineffective. With such an attitude, I am really disappointed and angry with InterContinental. They completely ignored the problems caused by the imperfect protection of their own facilities. In the subsequent communication, they had an attitude of bullying customers. I am really disappointed and speechless about the service of such a so-called five-star hotel and the amusement facilities that claim to be a parent-child hotel.

The hotel has more children's facilities than other hotels. There is an indoor playground, a water park and a swimming pool. You can reach the beach by crossing the swimming pool. The hotel breakfast is quite rich in variety, but the taste is average. There is a 711 next to the road. Every waiter is very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to greet you. The room facilities are relatively old and cannot be compared with high-end hotels in China. The toothbrush and slippers are also very broken. The quadruple room with three beds does not have a good view of the swimming pool. The view may be good in the standard room. The sound insulation is very poor. The children in other rooms are distressed and the noise is very loud in the middle of the night. The advantage is that the children play a lot, but children under 5 years old still need to be watched and are not very suitable for independent play.
