"This is a lovely resort set in sprawling and lush gardens.There are x three pools to use as well as the amazing beach and views.Accomodation is varied We had a separate villa in the grounds bear to the breakfast restaurant It was spacious and airey with excellent daily cleaning 😀 The breakfast was great. Lots of choices.The staff team was delightful and worked tirelessly to ensure a great service . Smiling Nam often on the door, taking your room number. "Stayed at Chaweng Garden Beach Resort in July for 7 days in a Standard Triple Room in room 125. Although the resort is an older one, as a budget level hotel it has satisfied most of our expectations. The room was large enough, with the building close to ”Sue's Restaurant” and to the main pool and to the beach. Room and bathroom were clean. As we asked for additional pillows in the room, we were provided. The buildings, villas were surrounded by lush garden, including the restaurant and beachfront, assuring comfortable shadow for those searching for it. The main pool has a comfortable depth, comfortable for swimming/playing, it's water was clean, although we preferred to swim in the sea. Did NOT encounter any jellyfish in the sea during our stay, so do not be afraid from this point of view! Beach towels are provided near the pool. Breakfast was basically good, although I would suggest to the management to provide beside a single(same) type of ham also some variety of salami. The same would be the case also for cheese, to provide 2-3 types, not only a single one type every day. I guess this would be much appreciated by the westerners who make up the majority of the guests. Initially we were afraid from load music until late night from the neighboring Ark Bar Beach Club, but our fear was groundless, the lush vegetation absorbed most of the sound, it was barely noticeable. It was touching seeing how the much respected owner of the resort, Miss Sue, was visiting one or two times every day the area near the restaurant and the beach while greeting ”old” returning guests and entering with them is short conversions. All in one, I appreciate that Chaweng Garden Beach Resort offers an excellent value for money ratio, and I would definitely return the next time to the same place, hopefully next year! "The hotel is located right next to the local landmark (Grandmother and Grandfather rocks), at the end of the beach. I was there in early June and the water was beautiful: transparent, very comfortable in temperature, clean. Unlike Chaweng Beach, entering the water was more comfortable, since you didn't have to walk very far in shallow water, but it wasn't very deep right next to the shore. The main street with food is a bit far away, but in principle you'll find massages, food and supermarkets nearby. As for the hotel, the service was excellent. My room was very clean. Towels and everything you need were changed upon request. They gave you water. In my opinion, the breakfasts were very filling and varied. There are sun loungers, a shower and a pool on the territory, as well as access to the sea. There weren't many people in June and the vacation was as relaxed and comfortable as possible. The only downside is that they couldn't check me (and other visitors) in before 2:00 PM and I had to walk for three hours. But don't consider it a minus. It's just always worth considering the prize will captivate you in any hotel. So I highly recommend this hotel. If you want a quiet and measured rest, then you will not regret it."

"Since it is a five-star resort, my expectations were high. But Silavadee exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment of arrival, when our bags were swiftly grabbed up by porters, and the receptionist welcomed us with cool scented face towels and cups of delicious lemonade, every experience was a luxury. We had an ocean view pool villa, which was wonderfully peaceful and private. But we did still check out the private beach, main pool areas, and all three open restaurants (a fourth restaurant was closed for remodeling since we were there during an off-peak season), and all of the facilities have beautiful ocean views and are staffed by extraordinarily friendly employees. Employees always stopped to give us a lift in their golf carts if they saw us walking, and we even noticed them calling ahead via radio to send a cart for us if they saw that we were getting ready to leave the beach, etc. Despite the jungle setting (we loved all the birds and nature, but I suppose it's worth mentioning that some people might not love nature as much, since there was bird poop on the deck each morning - promptly cleaned by housekeeping), I didn't see a single mosquito during our 4-night stay. The resort did issue mosquito repellant to all guests, though, so they are presumably a nuisance at least during some times of the year. The resort is also a very short drive away from Lamai Beach (free shuttles from the resort are provided a few times per day, but it's also easy to catch a taxi/Grab if your schedule doesn't align with the shuttle schedule), which is wonderful for swimming and people watching. But we were happy to be away from the crowds for the most part. It's worth noting that the area isn't great for swimming, since it is very rocky (really, far too rocky to swim at all during low tide), but Lamai Beach has some of the most beautiful sandy swimming beaches around, so that's an option if you want to spend more time in the ocean. With our own pool villa, we mostly stayed on property and just enjoyed dipping in the pool and enjoying the views from the privacy of our own deck."

I love “clean”, I’m crazy guy about “clean”, so I can say it was clean! And the last: staff, service super good!!! Guys for reception are excellent!!! "Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Breakfast service was very slow and confusing. You can tell the staff are trying but it needs to be better organized. Location away from town and on the beach, good for families avoiding noise and nightlife"

"Pros: Location: Dara Samui Beach Resort boasts an enviable position right in the heart of Koh Samui. Its proximity to various restaurants, shops, and local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. Being able to walk everywhere is a huge plus and adds an element of relaxation to the vacation experience. Staff: One of the standout features of the resort is its staff. They are not only efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. This level of service greatly enhances the overall stay. Room Views: Opting for a room on the third floor is highly recommended as it offers scenic views. While the first and second floors might lack these views, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms remain commendable. Bed and pillows were awesome!! Pool Area: The infinity pool is a highlight, providing a luxurious and serene environment to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the sun. This well-maintained area is made even more enjoyable by the fun and friendly pool and bar staff. One memorable highlight was when staff made popsicles by hand for the guests, adding a delightful touch to the day’s activities. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at the resort is exceptional. With a wide variety of choices, both in terms of dishes and flavors, every morning feels like a new culinary adventure. The quality and taste of the food meet high standards, ensuring a delightful start to the day. Cons: Noise Levels: A significant downside to staying at Dara Samui Beach Resort, especially noted on Chaweng Beach, is the noise pollution from nearby clubs. Guests looking for a peaceful night's sleep might find the loud music, particularly the repetitive beats and booming sounds from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, to be a major disturbance. This could be a dealbreaker for light sleepers or those seeking a restful retreat. Beach and Swimming Conditions: While the beach itself is beautiful and great for daytime relaxation, the water level often remains below one meter, making it impossible to swim in the ocean. This shallow water issue is prevalent across most of Chaweng Beach and might disappoint those looking forward to ocean swimming. Conclusion: Dara Samui Beach Resort offers a fantastic adult-only experience with its excellent location, superb staff, and top-notch facilities. However, potential guests should be aware of the early morning noise and the less-than-ideal swimming conditions in the ocean. If you are a night owl or can sleep through noise, and don't mind shallow beachfront waters, these issues might not be as impactful. Otherwise, consider requesting a room as far from the noise source as possible or look into noise-canceling solutions and plan for alternative ocen swimming options like a day at Silver Cove. Despite these setbacks, the resort's positives significantly outweigh its negatives, making it a worthy consideration for your stay in Koh Samui. Also exceptional value for the money."

"This is the third time I've been here. It's a great hotel with a great location. Right in the middle of all the restaurants and parties, but you don't hear anything of them. There are two really great, clean pools. The rooms are all neat and really modern. And the service is wonderful! I got a free upgrade. The beach is also right nearby. I always enjoy coming back here! Highly recommended!!!!"

"Pros: central location in Lamai, close to the sea. Very green beautiful area. There are enough sun loungers. There are plenty of beach towels, from 8.00 until late in the evening. Breakfast is good, 2 coffee machines with different coffees. The tea is delicious. Fruits every day: watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, papaya, mango. There is enough food: a variety of hot dishes, yoghurts, jams, croissants, omelettes, fried eggs, sausages, salads you create yourself. There is enough furniture in the room. Hangers 10 pcs. Safe. Autonomous air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, TV. Always hot water. Very nice balcony, birds are singing in the morning, a squirrel came running. Cleaning is a five, they clean very well. They give 4 bottles of water (this is the first generous hotel). We went to apple food for dinner - it was close and delicious. Transfer to the airport costs 600 baht, we took it opposite the exit from a travel agency for 500. Cons: very noisy in buildings 7 and 6. The doors open onto a street leading to the beach and a coffee shop is open until 4 am, with very loud music. For some reason, the furniture in the room is different; the solid wood furniture is old, shabby, but of very good quality. There are also cabinets made of a different material, so it’s uncomfortable. No trash bags in the room. Many thanks to the staff for the meeting: a wet towel and juice, plus karma, they gave me a knife for the entire time of use. I recommend the hotel, but 2, 3 buildings or bungalows."
