Beautiful, shady, quiet school. but quite old
Breakfast is not delicious. And it's breakfast served in the room. The school does not have clear signage. The restaurant in the school is closed for renovations.

If you looking for an excluded location away from everything then this is the place for you. But for us this was more or less like an unfinished project. In my opinion it was in the middle of nowhere, there’s no kitchen in the villas and the on site “cafe/restaurant” has been temporarily closed since it’s been opened. The main swimming pool has no filter and doesn’t get cleaned, the wood planks is all coming off the hinges and at night it’s super dark with barely any lighting. The “beach front” is just a pile of rubber. Our villa was a garden villa with the only one that had a huge tree attracting all sorts of wild life. We couldn’t even sit in our garden as we constantly got bitten and when asked front desk they said they have no first aid on site. Rooms would barely get cleaned if requested.

Wir waren als Familie für 11 tage (Mitte Juli 25) im Tolani Resort. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb des Trubels, was für uns aber klar war und somit auch in Ordnung. Mit dem Roller (kann einfach übers Tolani gebucht werden) ist man schell an Orten zum einkaufen, Essen, shoppen und Ausgehen. (Oder auch Grab) Unser sehr gut und komfortables zwei Zimmer Haus mit eigenem Pool erfüllte alle Erwartungen bedingungslos. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht, zuerst 3 Menues ab Karte und anschliessend ab Buffet. Es war immer sehr lecker, vollumfänglich, frisch und ohne Einwände. Ein grosses Lob an das ganze Personal!! Der Service, die Putzequipe, das Empfangspersonal einfach alle waren immer sehr hilfsbreit, Kinderfreundlich, zuvorkommend und einfach für einen da :D Der Grosse Poolbereich war einfach ein sehr schöner Ort zum verweilen und erfrischenden Wasser zu Baden. Viel negatives gibt es nicht, obwohl die sporadischen Baurbeiten beim Wellnessbereich hätten sicherlich nicht sein müssen. (Wird aber in kürze fertig sein) Und das Poolwasser ist aufgrund der grösse und tiefe, teilweise etwas trüb. Kann sicherlich noch verbessert werden. Der Strand ist je nach der Gehzeiten eher weniger zum Baden geeignet, dies wussten wir aber und da es innert paar Rollerminuten sehr schöne Alternativen gibt, ist es in Ordnung.

The best hotel I’ve even been at. The vila was amazing ant the staff was even better. Kaow the grant desk manager was friendly and helpful. The food was great. We loved every second and we can’t wait to come back. The room is decorated beautifully and the private pool is so nice.

Very nice hotel. Staff more than pleasant from the reception to the restaurant staff. Special mention for Opal who welcomed us the first evening at the restaurant and at breakfast so helpful kind smiling attentive, she is a sweet 🥰 Thank you also to the manager who had little attentions towards us and who was attentive to us. We had a more than pleasant stay. Very calm, peaceful area in the south of the island about 30 minutes from the city center. Ideal to relax, completely disconnect and enjoy your loved ones or yourself.

Tolani Resort Koh Samui was the perfect peaceful getaway. Our villa was private and beautiful, with a pool that made it feel extra special. The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful, and the other amenities and activities were both excellent. We also loved dining at KOA—its vegan options were delicious and thoughtful, making meals a highlight. We felt truly cared for throughout our stay—highly recommended!
