Melia Koh Samui

I bought the order on Ctrip. The order has an upgraded room, but it didn't happen when I got there. The hotel only said it would be upgraded depending on the situation. I couldn't cancel it and go somewhere else because I had already arranged the trip. So I was very dissatisfied with this hotel. The room I was assigned was also very bad, the first room on the first floor. When I opened the balcony door in the morning, there was an outdoor breakfast buffet outside. I could also see people having breakfast. The worst experience

The hotel facilities are great and the rooms are very comfortable. It's just a bit humid. The breakfast is great. It's a pity that it's not in the seaside restaurant, but next to the lobby. It feels a bit stuffy. It would be better if we have breakfast in the seaside restaurant.

The suite we booked is very big and comfortable. The environment is generally good. There are many green areas in this hotel. We can also enjoy the privilege of the executive lounge where we can drink beverages and eat snacks for free, which is quite good. However, the water in the swimming pool is definitely better than that in China. There should be no disinfectant added. The water is changed quite frequently and is generally quite good. However, the water quality is not as clean as the water in KIMPTON next door where we stayed for two nights. However, I am still satisfied with it as a whole. It is okay. This hotel is a Spanish chain hotel. Most of the people staying there are foreigners from Europe, and there are very few Chinese. If I were to comment, it would be generally good.

The swimming pool is 1.1 meters deep and appears to be hundreds of meters long. Playing in the water with my wife, watching the sunset on the beach in the evening, and eating fresh salad, Thai noodles, and gospel rice were all memorable. In particular, the meal of paella, spaghetti, and wine while watching the sunset at a Spanish restaurant on the beach was really nice. The longer I stay, the more I like the resort... Melia!

Very nice hotel. The pros: very clean, nice room, great breakfast and very nice beach. The minuses: an incredible crowd, swimming pool full of children jumping and screaming, a specific category of tourists who are very very noisy at breakfast and at the swimming pool who do not respect the hotel staff, it is a very shame. It is more of a family hotel than a quiet and romantic hotel for couples.
