Kanok Buri Resort Reviews

Stayed here in May for a friends wedding at a nearby resort. Kanok Buri resort had so much potential. It’s a very nice looking hotel, we had a villa style room near to the pool and beach. +Great beach view, beach chairs and towels provided +The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. -The room air con wasn’t working so we were sweating most nights. Someone did come to fix it but not much difference was made. -The included breakfast was very poor. There was watermelon, some cereal and yoghurt. Then you could choose some items from a set menu which was mainly white bread, eggs, rubber ham and a rubber sausage. I asked for cheese and onion omelette, it came plain. We asked for pancakes with banana. There was no banana. Breakfast service wasn’t very good, we waited a long time for the food and there was hardly anyone there. It’s a shame because the venue and view were fantastic. If they could improve the food quality and service it would be amazing. -There’s not a lot of other choices for restaurants in this area either. The restaurant at the inn next door is ok. Best bet is to take a 10min ride to the nearest town to get something better to eat. - Bathroom looks like it would have been hi-tech 25 years ago but is now dated and not working efficiently. Tried to use the jacuzzi bath and an awful sewage smell came out when I pressed the bubble button, as well as a few pieces of dirt. In need of a renovation! -Didn’t use the pool, area wasn’t very welcoming or appealing.

Enjoyed staying at the hotel. It's an old quiet hotel, but the room is cleaned and very nice comfy bed. Impressed with all hotel staffs hospitality & services. The foods & beverages at hotel's restaurant by the beach is not expensive. Price is similar to what you pay at local small restaurant along the street of Koh Samui (Unlike the other hotels and restaurants on Koh Samui. They usually add taxes and service charge to the receipt)

Amazing location just out of chiang mai beautiful hotel and grounds by the river. Amazing staff so friendly and made sure my sister had a special birthday! Room was huge, clean and very well decorated and stocked. Would definitely come back when visiting Chiang mai again ❤️

Beautiful villa with semi private pool.

I had an amazing experience staying here.Sadly, staff didn’t provide us new amenities as we extend our stays otherwise Breakfast was good and staffs were good. If you are looking for peaceful and family time then , this hotel is perfect for you. And if you want night life and partying vibes then you should choose another location. Overall, I love this hotel and if I had a chance I would definitely stay here in the future.

Had a great experience

We were on holiday at the hotel as a couple. The hotel is amazing, we took a villa with a private pool, fenced in, such rooms are located across the road from the beach and the reception is 200 meters from the beach. The room has all the toiletries: shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, toothpaste and brushes, sticks, caps. The bed has a hard mattress. The pool is a separate song, clean, the waterfall works by the hour, the jacuzzi through a switch, the backlight too. The beach is excellent, the entrance is gentle. There is also a small gym on the territory. Breakfast is a la carte, you can order any number of dishes, additionally tea, coffee (machine), muesli, powdered juices, fruits. Next to the hotel there is a massage parlor, a store, a local cafe, the prices are minimal. 300-400 meters from the hotel, a larger store has everything you need, including alcoholic drinks. There is also a cafe, the prices are inexpensive from 80 baht for rice with chicken, the menu is varied, the portions are large. The hotel left only a good impression, we will definitely return.

The first impression was positive. It's worth noting that the pool villas are across the street. Gradually, the villa became less and less clean, and towels were becoming scarcer. The service was very friendly. The breakfast was okay. The location on the beautiful beach was otherwise great.

I really liked the hotel - silence, tranquility, beauty. + close to the Nathon pier (after a long journey - to take a break, swim, enjoy the sea and views) - we booked 4 nights. + hotel grounds! You can see that the gardens, ponds with fish, pools, rooms, shore are well-kept, clean and there are no mosquitoes (we had a family villa) They look after everything and everything is in order! + Beach (hotel on the coastline) the sea is clean, warm, without low tides, moderate waves, no crowds of people, beautiful view! + staff - polite, diligent! Breakfasts are good, over 4 days we didn't get tired of it, everything is fresh, hot, there is a coffee machine. There are shops, cafes, massage nearby. If we are in those places - we will come back!

Definitely the best hotel on Lipa Noi beach. Very beautiful hotel grounds, friendly staff, great beach. Villa with private pool is just super. Thank you very much for a wonderful time on Lipa Noi.

A wonderful, clean hotel. Checked in before 2:00 pm, your own villa across the road with a small pool is even better than those on the sea side, since there is a fence and no one can see you, but there people can walk past and look in) The room is comfortable, TV with android tv. Breakfasts are small, but tasty.
