"Good hotel. We stayed with friends for one night in a family room. Breakfast was included and started at 5:30 AM, which was convenient for us as we had an early morning departure. I recommend this hotel."

"Location is excellent, walkable to all the tourist spots.I literally walked to all the places without taking bus ride at all. I booked for studio suite, it has kitchen in it, equipped with microwave, electrical stove, dishwasher and washing machine!! It has more than everything you need in the room. There is Tesco express just 2 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient! The only minor down side is house keeping not provided everyday , but u still can request the amenities or coffee refill if you need to. But this doesn’t bother me at all. I highly recommend to traveller who wish to do small cooking during the trip to stay here. It worth for the price u pay."

"I booked the standard room type. The self-check-in process was very convenient. The hotel entrance is about the size of a regular residential building entrance, so keep an eye out for it. The room, though not large, was very cozy. The small table and chairs by the window were practical and comfortable. The washbasin and shower in the bathroom were very easy to use, clearly good quality fixtures, except for the shampoo, which wasn't great. This street is High Street, with many fashion stores that British people like, not tourist souvenir shops. There are also restaurants nearby, especially CADIZ restaurant next door, which has excellent food."

"The location is great, convenient for getting anywhere, yet quiet despite being in a bustling area. The quad room was spacious, and the double bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed was just okay, but usable. What we liked most was the kitchen, which was well-equipped and very convenient for preparing simple meals. The bedding and amenities were also good. There are a few steps/stairs within the room on different levels, so if you're not traveling with elderly people with mobility issues or very young children, I highly recommend it for families."

"The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. I originally thought about taking the bus, but Google Maps showed walking was faster. It's right on Princes Street, within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and other attractions – I walked to all of them, enjoying the city's scenery along the way! The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there are plenty of convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to grab milk, vegetables, bread, fruit, etc. The cleanliness was decent, though the facilities are a bit older. I spent most of my time out, and the room was a bit small for resting in the evenings."

"The hotel is perfectly situated right on the Royal Mile – the location is absolutely superb! It's just an 8-minute walk from the train station. Be aware that there are some steps along the route, which might be a bit of a workout if you're carrying heavy suitcases. It's a very family-friendly hotel. The bedroom has a large bed, and the living room sofa converts into a double bed, comfortably accommodating two adults and two children. Our room was incredibly clean, newly renovated, and surprisingly quiet. Even though the Royal Mile is bustling with street performers and activities, we couldn't hear any noise from our room at all. Having amenities like a washing machine and oven in the room was a huge plus. Just a note: toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers aren't provided as standard. We brought our own dental kit, so we only needed to ask the front desk for slippers. Breakfast is served à la carte; you order what you like, and top-ups are available if you're still hungry. Edinburgh Castle is a mere 5-minute walk to the right from the hotel's entrance, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby – incredibly convenient!"
