Leonardo Hotel Tiberias ★★★★
"As soon as we entered the front door, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Amoon and Nati were so accommodating. They made us feel like we were the most important guests in the hotel. Every time we passed though the lobby, Amoon or Nati called us by name with a warm greeting. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one."
Atara Hotel ★★★
"Clean,nicht people Parkinson very nice"
Magdala Hotel ★★★★
Galei Kinneret Hotel ★★★★
"We came to stay in this hotel to relax before the day before we go to our fathers grave as a family. At 10 pm we hear a concert when we got back from dinner. We asked when it would be over. They said half an hour. So we all got ready for bed. After 35 min I called the front desk. Then10 min later again. She gave me same answer. She needs to check. At 5 min to 11 I called and she told me it can go all night. And offered to change our rooms. We’re all unpacked in bed at 11pm. If you are a party hotel, or know you’re having a concert tell your guests before you put them in the rooms above the concert deck. This was a terrible experience."
U Boutique Kinneret by the Sea of Galilee ★★★★
"A very nice hotel in the Kineret. Great pool, rooms, food. Jonathan, the manager was very nice and helpful with my request."
Jacob Ohalo Kinneret ★★★
"I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights as part of an academic writing retreat. The location is actually quite good—right on the shores of the Kinneret, which is especially pleasant in February. The hotel also features extensive gardens, and its nice to roam around. I really enjoyed spending time there with colleagues, sitting by the Kinneret and talking. The rooms, however, are extremely basic. Even the desk was just a wooden plank attached to the wall. Cleaning left something to be desired, with a strong smell of cheap cleaning solution lingering in the room. I saw the upgraded rooms and they are not much better, either. The restaurant was decent, serving both breakfast and dinner, and the food was fine overall."
Prima Galil Tiberias Hotel ★★★★
"Hairs on the sheets, average food without much variety...."
Leonardo Club Tiberias - All Inclusive ★★★★
"I went with my family during the Passover period from April 14 to 17, 2025 Overall the hotel is okay with some obvious things missing. From our arrival, the first surprise was that there was no trolley in the entire hotel to put the luggage on and take it to our room even though it is a family hotel! I don't understand why the hotel managers don't think of providing one to hotel guests, it would just be obvious! A person at the reception kindly offered to help us get them out of the car to the reception. We got our room earlier than expected, which was very appreciated. We had two identical adjoining rooms of a decent standard because it seemed to have been renovated. Nothing to say about that. But one thing is really missing: The sockets for charging phones and other things. There were exactly two visible (see photos). One next to the bed (and not on the other side of the bed unfortunately). And a second one, so I'll have to be told what the point is, at the top of a door that communicates with a neighboring room. Really, the person who is going to read my comment, just please explain to me what the point is of putting a socket so high up that is absolutely useless!!! Please explain to me why put it at this level when we see that there are no other sockets available in the entire room!!!! (see photos) Concerning the swimming pool there were some good things and others less good. Something not good but it's not really their fault let's say, we came at a time that is not summer so they left the big protective tarpaulin that covered the whole swimming pool and a manager told me that he planned to remove it next week for the nice weather. So when you arrive at the swimming pool you have this feeling of suffocation when you are on the deckchairs because some are outside the tarpaulin and others inside and suddenly you quickly feel stuck to each other especially when there are a lot of people (see photos) In addition you have a resonance when you are in the water because of the tarpaulin, which means that with the noise of all the people swimming and shouting mixed with the whistle of the lifeguard it is really unpleasant! Note that they added wooden planks to the existing floor with screws, the heads of the screws are rusty! Not really great and reassuring if a child scratches their foot with that (see photo) The positive point of the pool and not the least is that it is heated so no apprehension about going in! You also have 3 slides attached to the pool for the children which are very nice Regarding the entertainment during the day because of the tarpaulin it was almost impossible for the entertainers to do anything around the pool There was just a DJ who put on music which made the noise even more deafening than anything else L"

"At city centre and near the sea. Good place for stay , good view at the roof . Only the washing machine doesn’t work normally."

Gomeh by Isrotel Collection
"The hotel is close to the banks of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). From the end of the garden, depending on the water level, the lake is about 100m. For some reason the hotel has created a path, but has not setup easy access from the end of the path into the lake. Check-in was painfully slow. I always leave a deposit on file so that we can order extras and charge to the room, but this hotel demands it and has a set amount per day. I found this very unusual and had not experienced this demand before in any other hotel. The rooms are sparsely decorated, but spacious enough. The bed was comfortable, but pillows were terrible. The bathroom needs renovation though and supplies toiletries are very basic. We had a room that faced the car park. The car park does not have enough space and although the hotel is remote (not in a city, with nothing else around) the plot next to the hotel has been turned into paid parking and the other adjacent lot is only for employees. They also have 4 electric car charging spots, but don't ensure that only electric cars park there. When I arrived, needing to charge, 3 spots were occupied by non-electric cars and the hotel appeared hopeless in getting them to move. There's building work going on in the plot next door, which meant that from 7am there was noisy construction work which woke us up. There was no warning of this. The pool area is small, with limited seating. People had 'reserved' seats from early, so all loungers were taken by 10am. There is a grassy area nearby with amazing views of the lake and Golan heights. That area is more peaceful and close enough to the pool. This is the first Isrotel (and probably any hotel in Israel) that does not have an egg station at breakfast (to get fried eggs etc). Very disappointing. Dinner on Friday night was good, but the dining room was over crowded so it was not pleasant to sit so squashed. The dining room did not offer lunch in Saturday, but there's the lobby dairy cafe and meat food truck that offers limited options. The hotel does not offer room service at any time. The shul is way too small, so many people had to spill out into the lobby area. A bigger room should be used. Despite the amazing lakeside location, this is one Isrotel I would not return to."
Hotel Lake House Kinneret
"This place is easily accessible. It's not on the water but right near the water. There is a bridge crossing over the highway to put you on the beach. There is a swimming pool. It does have a large buffet supper and breakfast meal available. We stayed in room 510 and there is a consistent sewer smell, and there are many bugs that come in other than that it was OK."
HI - Karei Deshe Hostel
"The rooms were unclean, the toilet was not clean. The toilet seat was broke . There was mold in the bathroom. The dining room chairs were full of old crumbs and dirt. The coffee machine was unclean and had old coffee stains. The beach was filled with trash including dirty used diapers. For 300$/ night I would expect minimal cleanliness. Will not go back."
The Lake House
Azura Boutique Hotel
Sofia Hotel Sea of Galilee
"During my recent hotel stay, I had a disappointing experience with the hotel staff. Their customer service was subpar, with unresponsive and uncooperative staff members. It seemed like they lacked proper training in dealing with guests' needs and requests, making my stay uncomfortable and frustrating."
Gai Beach Hotel
"The food, the staff, the rooms, the beautiful view, is all worth staying here again. This is my second time, and I would stay here again. If I were to write a complaint about this hotel… It would be that there was no sugar, free items for a diabetic to eat."
Tiberia Hotel
"The Tiberia hotel is perfect for location ,food and facilities and we enjoy stayed there. GBU"
The Scots Hotel
"We just returned home from Israel where we spent three nights of our trip a the Scots Hotel in Tiberias. It's a beautiful historic property with several separate stone buildings. Our room itself didn't have a view of the sea but the hotel is situated right across the street from the Galilee so every time you walk out onto the lushly landscaped grounds you can admire the view of the sea. The pool area is gorgeous as well. Across the street there is also a promenade you can walk on with some shops, etc. We stayed in the building called "Doctor's House" on the second floor. It was so pretty and sweetly decorated in accordance with the style of the time (a comfy four-poster king bed, hardwood furniture, a divan and table as well as a desk). There's a Nespresso machine in the room as well as a filtered drinking water machine that dispenses hot and cold water. The bathroom was nice and spacious. We really enjoyed the included breakfast and dinner buffet every day which was quite excellent. There was a huge variety of food and everything was delicious. The dining area was spacious and tranquil. We only encountered a larger tour group on one night of our stay. The rest of our time there we only only saw independent travelers. Even on the night that the larger group was there, it wasn't too crowded. There are three large seating areas. Service was always professional and friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping to the bellmen. Everything was as it should be. We really loved our time at The Scots. We're very glad to have stayed there as we had heard from friends that there are not very many nice hotels in the Galilee area. This one was perfect and we would definitely recommend!"
