Good hotel, matched expectations. Didn’t require parking nor use leisure facilities which both seem to have received negative comments before. Reception area and staff nice; room clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a tasty selection of pastries, also had yogurt and toast. Also available some hot food and cheese & meats.

I recently stayed here for one night, and while my experience was brief, there were definitely some highlights worth mentioning. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was clean, cozy, and had all the basic amenities I needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made for a good night's rest.
While my stay was just okay overall, I can see the potential for a truly great experience here. And with a few small improvements (which is in progress at the moment with renovation works) it could easily stand out even more. I’d consider staying again if I’m in the area and would love to see how the hotel continues to grow and improve. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Nice standard hotel close to city centre and in walking distance to Zalgiris Arena. Warm room with basic amenities, amazing breakfast. Free parking available (20 spaces). Will stay here again when in Kaunas.

The hotel is not 4 stars, of course, old, but with remnants of former luxury. Breakfast is average, rooms are large, good that there is a sauna and a swimming pool, but you need to book them and only for an hour. But the worst thing is that the windows from the room overlooked an unfinished high-rise with empty dark windows, like some kind of apocalypse, we lived with the curtains on the windows.

El hotel está perfectamente ubicado, estando a 2min andando de la iglesia y calle principal. El personal del hotel es muy amable y el desayuno muy completo. Recomendable si vas a Kaunas.

Parking was easy and convenient, as we were able to park in the hotel’s courtyard free of charge. This was a definite positive. For the most part, the hotel was good: the room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. However, what left the strongest impression was the staff’s lack of flexibility in a couple of situations. First, during breakfast, all the small tables were occupied, and the only available seating was at a large table that had been reserved for a group—even though no one was sitting there. We tried to discuss the situation with the staff and suggested we could sit there temporarily until the group arrived or another table became free. But the staff wouldn’t allow it under any circumstances. They insisted we come back later, even though breakfast was being served and we already had food on our plates. This left a bad impression. Second, the hotel’s website mentioned laundry service, so I went to ask about it at the reception. I was told there was a self-service laundry available for €4. We had our own detergent with us, but the staff insisted that only detergent capsules could be used. So we had to go out and buy those. On our second attempt, we then learned that coins were required to operate the machines—information that hadn’t been shared earlier. So, off we went again to get change. In the end, the washing and drying worked fine, but it was unnecessarily complicated. Overall, it would have been helpful to have some basic information about the hotel’s services available in the room. There was nothing, so we had to ask the reception for everything. A printed info sheet, like in many other hotels, would have made things easier and helped us avoid the confusion around laundry, for example.

Unfortunately, the visit didn't fulfill my expectations. I wanted to crown my week-long trip through the Baltics with a hotel that was a little bit more expensive than some other, still okay options. I could see from the photos the hotel was a little bit dated, but I assumed there'd be some old-world charm to it. Starting with the positive things: I slept very well the two nights I spent here. The hotel personnel were friendly. The room was spacious and the location ideal. The negatives however. I couldn't use the kettle in the room, as when I opened it, I saw some of the grimy dirt from the bottom of the kettle floating in a small amount of water. I didn't want to risk more of that dirt coming away in use and ending up drinking the dirt. The fridge had yellow stains and presumably a previous customer's milk left in it. The room door also had some handprint stains. One of the towels had small red fluffs on them, which at first scared me quite a bit - imagine cleaning your face to the towel and then seeing something red on the towel! Luckily it was just fluff, but I couldn't know that in the moment. So my first impression was that the room had not been cleaned properly. The cleaning personnel, just like the reception and breakfast buffet personnel, were very friendly though, so it felt all the more weird there were such neglects. Another big minus was that although I had bought the late check-out, I was still called at the usual check-out time and asked when was I going to leave. I told about the late check-out and they said I have to pay 20€, to which I said I already paid it and could show the receipt. They said it was alright, just show the receipt when leaving. It seemed to me like the information hadn't reached the new personnel on duty that day. Good thing I had saved the receipt! Then, when everything should've been sorted out, I went for a walk outside. When I got back, I was locked out of my room. I was let back in, but spent the rest of the stay inside as not to get locked out of the room again. All in all, I don't want to say the personnel did a bad job, because they seemed motivated and caring whenever I interacted with them f2f. For some reason there just were these mishaps. Those unfortunately ended up coloring my experience. I am able to take this as an unique experience, but nevertheless, I don't think this is exactly what one would expect when visiting a 4-star hotel.

I was very disappointed when I wanted to go to the spa and suddenly it turned out that there were technical things in the pool but they were not listed. The food was delicious and the room was cozy BUT you could hear other people talking through the doors and the elevator wasn't working

Lovely hotel, nice and central. Big spacious room with a lovely and clean layout and bathroom. I was looked after by the wonderful Edyta who was a gem from start to finish. If I was to return to Lithuania I would come back here due to the great hospitality I received.

This hotel was recommended to me for my conference at Kaunas University (VDU). It's not bad, but it's not a real four star: the disorganization is total, upon arrival the room was missing the a/c remote control, there was no telephone in the room and the safe didn't work; some details are old, the air conditioner gave off dust. The staff is unprepared, in the end they were not even able to provide me with an invoice for my payment. Thanks for everything!

Maybe this hotel used to be a 4 star hotel with the previous owner. I Think the number of stars should be reconsidered. We stayed in a suite. The room it self is Nice. It is in 2 levels with the sleeping area on the top. But the funiture and style is outdated and cheap. The room was clean. Be aware, that you Will find : No breakfast No restaurant No sauna No spa No modern training hall It displayes a little bit different on the homepage......but during out stay it was " out of order"....! So, in this 4 star hotel, the only Thing you Will find, is a room with a bed. You Will have a short walk to the main shopping street and the shopping center Akropolis.
