We stayed five nights at the "de zilver berk" and it was absolutely fantastic: + very well situated for a daily trip to Antwerp, Bruxelles, or even Brugge. The latter is quite a ride, but it's definitely worth it. + Bobbejaanland is close by (easily reachable by bike) and superb for teens! + The camping area has its own bar Congé, but there are even more in the vicinity (e.g., Netherust), which have Minigolf, a playground, or kayaks. Moreover, there are several other activities like an "ice cream" biking route. In short, we were busy during our stay but couldn't do everything... + At our accommodation, we could park right in front of our mobile home (which would have a plug for EVs). + very friendly staff (e.g.: it was unbearable hot when we arrived, and since the apartment hasn't got AC, we at least got two fans for free) Some things to note: ＞ The mobile home is very spacy but I won't rent it for six people... 4-5 is more like it ＞ As I said, it has no AC but heating... since the insulation is quite thin, this becomes quickly necessary when the temp drops below 15° ＞  The parking is beneath a tree... with ‍birds: the droplets can be quite annoying ＞ washing cost 4.5€ and drying (iirc) 3€ ＞ i would recommend bringing along a mosquito deterrent... not all windows have nets, and these sneaky ****** would fly in through the door anyway

Chose this campsite for a last minute weekend trip in our van due to warm March weather and based on previous reviews. We were not disappointed; a first class business with super friendly staff and exceptional facilities. The proximity to the river, local bars and restaurants and brilliant cycle routes makes this site a first choice for us for short weekend trips after work on a Friday. We will be back!

Super friendly staff, Clean facilities. Washrooms are shared and only 3 lockable bathrooms. Super clean, but could do with some more toilets. Would come again and recommend it. There was a concert near by, but we were warned and the staff enforced strict rules after 11:00pm

A very nice and cosy camp site, clean and lots of activities for the children. The goats were especially popular among the children. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. All in all an enjoyable stay, if just for one night. We will probably visit again sometime.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring Belgium in a motorhome. The site was easy to find from Google maps and the roads around Belgium were excellent. Used as a site to visit Antwerp and caught the train from nearby Tielen. The cycle routes an walking are plentiful and easy. The site was very well laid out and the facilities excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, speaking excellent English. Don’t be put off by looking at Google street view, the site is hidden behind. Could have stayed longer and would certainly visit again.

Lovely quiet campsite, with great pitches and facilities. Stayed for 3 nights in our camper van, good size pitch, lovely clean facilities, and helpful staff. Pre-ordered breakfast from the shop, which was nice and great value. 10 min walk to supermarket, and bus stop which took us to Geel station, so very accessible. Enjoyed our visit and highly recommend!

Mooie goed verzorgde camping. Propere douches en toiletten. Minpunten: - winkels zijn niet dichtbij voor boodschappen bij te halen. - feestzaal naast het terrein heeft vergunning om tot 3uur s'nachts muziek (lawaai) te maken. Om deze reden zijn we ook na 3 nachten zonder slaap eerder vertrokken.

Afgelopen weekend deze camping bezocht. Wat een top camping. Vriendelijke onthaal, heel veel info over de omgeving inclusief wandel en fietsroutes. Prachtig sanitair, heerlijk verwarmd en heel netjes. Zeer ruime plaatsen en een fantastische omgeving.
