Wyndham Garden Kassel ★★★★
"The room was clean and nice"
Hotel Schweizer Hof ★★★
"When I couldn't book a room, I found this hotel hidden in the old town. The skylight on the roof can see the clouds at dusk and the top of the church. It is quiet and the sound of rain hitting the skylight at night helps me sleep. It is worth recommending"
Hotel Deutscher Hof ★★★
"A very functional hotel. Unfortunately, there was no parking available in the entrance area upon arrival. However, directions to the hotel's own parking lot were readily available. The room was modern and well-equipped. Clean. The breakfast was commendable. Friendly service. Excellent!"
B&B HOTEL Kassel-Industriepark ★★
"No service, but clean and well-located for the purpose."
B&B HOTEL Kassel-City ★★
"Hotel correct"
Adesso Hotel Kassel -Pay at Property on Arrival- Ihr Automatenhotel in Kassel ★★★
"Overall general good location"
Tryp by Wyndham Kassel City Centre ★★★
"The hotel is located near the train station but doesn’t know how long more the elevator going to be repair…"
B&B Hotel Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe ★★★★
"This Intercity Hotel hasn't been renovated yet, like many other Intercity hotels. It's still the old version with outdated furnishings and musty rooms without air conditioning. While the room faced the courtyard, it was stiflingly hot. Even though it was pleasant outside, it was nearly impossible to cool the room down. The mattresses are rather hard, and the pillows are extremely soft. You could sleep without a pillow at all. A cockroach greeted us on the fire door outside our room... cockroaches in a 4-star hotel. Seriously. Breakfast was an outrage. The breakfast room was tiny, and the young woman clearly didn't want to be there. She didn't even ask for our room number. The buffet selection was abysmal, and what little was offered was often empty. No scrambled eggs because they were out, no Nutella because they were out (here, instead of Nutella like in other Intercity hotels, they offer cheap, generic chocolate spread), almost no sausage because they were out... and so on. The young woman barely seemed to care that almost everything was gone. Guests had to constantly point it out. Empty, used tables were only cleared upon request. If you don't enjoy the job, you should find something else. All in all, one of my worst Intercity experiences. The only positives are the excellent location right next to the train station and the friendly reception staff. The hotel is definitely no longer a 4-star hotel. More like 2 stars. 3 at the very most."
Renthof Kassel ★★★★
"The hotel room was incredibly small. Two people couldn't even turn around properly; there was no room to put their suitcases, and even with a large suitcase open, there was barely any room to step. It was awful. I don't know where all the good reviews came from. There are parking spaces right outside the hotel, but parking inside costs money. I was charged over 20 euros at check-out, including city tax and parking fees. The breakfast was very basic: some ham and cheese, cucumber slices, and tomato slices. For a room costing 1500 euros, there wasn't even any fruit for breakfast. There was no drinking water provided in the room; you had to get a bottle from the restaurant. The radiators in the room didn't even have heat. In short, staying at this hotel was a rip-off; I wouldn't recommend it. The location wasn't great either; it was a 10-minute walk from the pedestrian street and the bustling city center."

MountainPark | Event- Und Tagungshotel
"We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights and can only report positive things. The rooms are clean and spacious and you feel comfortable. The breakfast is a buffet and very sufficient. As a family, we had no complaints."
Schlosshotel Kassel
"Unfortunately, it wasn't clear when booking that the accommodations weren't accessible for people with mobility issues. There was no elevator in the coach house, so we had to leave early. This hotel isn't suitable for elderly people with mobility issues. The dining room was also too small. The staff was very friendly. You said you'll specifically mention this on your hotel website. Please do the same. It's a shame I couldn't give my mother a pleasant stay. Sincerely,"
Hotel Gude
"Advantages: Clean and quiet. Disadvantages: Small space, outdated facilities, no air conditioning; definitely don't stay there in the summer."
Hotel Roter Kater
"The Location next to the River is stunning and I enjoyed walking around, watching birds, the apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a really nice balcony. I did not use the SPA but it looked really nice on pictures and from the outside. I also really liked the swings on the balcony. The bathtubs is also really comfy. The only things they could improve would be a hair dryer (which I might have missed), hangars for the wardrobe and maybe a different soap. I travelled by car, there waa sufficient parking space, if you park on the premises it costs 10€, if you park upstairs at the main road it is for free."
Apartmenthaus Wesertor
"Very good stay experience, except for a bit noisy, everything else is fine."
Best Western Hotel Kurfuerst Wilhelm I
"Stayed at the Best Western for two nights whilst back packing (over 50’s style) through Germany. We booked a junior suite. Positives: - Very close location to the Kassel Wilhelmshöhe train station that is perfect for exploring the Wilhelmshöhe Park. - Very nice welcome from the staff - Clean, large room, complimentary water and nespresso machine. - Free two day travel card from the hotel to get you into the centre of Kassel(approx 3km by tram). Negatives: - Rooms facing towards the train station/tram lines will be noisy from the traffic so ask for a room at the back if that is a problem(the hotel kindly provide ear plugs if needed). We were satisfied with a 2 night stay but pleased to be moving on."
Design-Konferenzhotel & Restaurant Steinernes Schweinchen
"No Swimming pool"
Hotel am Herkules
"The room was quite clean, and although I chose a small single bed, it was very comfortable, and I slept very well. The breakfast was reasonably priced. However, there was no elevator, and it took a lot of effort to carry my large suitcase up. The place is close to the attractions, but since it was my first time there and I wasn't familiar with the area, I followed Google Maps along some less-than-accurate back roads. The navigation wasn't very precise, and the paths were quite winding, so please be careful."
BioHotel Kassel Wilhelmshöher Tor
"Nice, cozy hotel in modern optics. Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and attractive. The bathroom has surprised me pleasantly. Breakfast is endorsed by its quality and delicious offer. From Vegan to carnivore, there was something for everyone. Gluten-free breads and toast were backed upon request. (Cross contamination I cannot exclude) The hotel is not only accessible by car, but also by bus or tram from the Railway Station Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe."
Stadthotel Kassel
"I arrived at night, 2 of 3 check-in options have not worked. Pass reader at the check-in machine not visible because everything was very dark. On the first day there was no breakfast, an prior notice at or in the room would have been nice. Unfriendly or unspoken staff at the reception, room ok. Single light view: friendly staff at the good breakfast buffet."
